I really can't say enough good things about our experience with the entire Duvall team at the wedding on Saturday. Everything was perfect. The room flip went off without a hitch (ceremony space to reception space), the food was absolutely wonderful (everyone seemed to agree that the food was the highlight of the evening), the drinks were great, and the staff was all excellent. Isabelle Donovan was our event coordinator. She was absolutely wonderful start to finish. She was attentive, prompt with returning emails and phone calls, and also helpful in keeping our stress level down!! Thanks so much for helping us pull off a fantastic wedding in 12 weeks! :)

She was always available for questions and meetings and took care of every last detail for me. My bouquet was AMAZING as was all the rest of the floral decoration. We worked with Alicia to help plan our wedding at Magnolia Plantation in May 2017. Alicia was so very helpful and extremely easy to work with! She was so patient with us as we kept constantly changing our menu and even worked with the chefs to create personalized menu selections! We used Duvall for our catering, bar, cake, floral, and decor. They have everything you need all within the same company making planning soooo much easier! The food was absolutely delicious! I can honestly say that it wasn't your average "wedding food." Our guests were more than pleased and raved about the food - we're still getting compliments from friends and family! The staff was very professional and kept our guests happy, as well. They were also very attentive to my husband and my needs - we didn't have to lift a finger all night! The decor was stunning!!! Everything was so elegant and exactly how I envisioned it! We worked with Zoe for the flowers and she was such a gem to work with. She listened to everything we wanted and was able to produce pictures to make sure everything was just how we envisioned it. She even changed my bouquet from my bridal portraits to the wedding and it was so stunning!!! I can't recommend Duvall enough for all you party and wedding needs! Everyone was such a treat to work with and really made our wedding perfect!

I hired Duvall for my catering (including cake), floral, decor, and wedding coordination. In all categories, I was beyond impressed. I specifically worked with Alicia and Amanda - both were responsive, patient, and very efficient. It was difficult being out of town and planning a wedding and they helped me more than I ever thought possible. I was so thankful for the help throughout the entire process and my wedding was seamless and beautiful thanks to the Duvall team.

Duvall has a huge kitchen and a really nice set up for their potential customers to taste test the food they want to serve at whatever event needs catered. Duvall hosted US Foods so they could cook us some of the things they have to sell restaurants. The whole experience was really fun!

Duvall handled all aspects of our wedding from food, decor, rentals to coordination. Our planning was unique in the fact that it was a destination wedding and due to our work schedules, we weren't able to actually meet with Duvall prior to booking. So the reviews were very important to us when choosing our catering and decor. Initially, I was the bride that thought I could do it all. I plan events for a living....however, about 6 months out and 1.5 military deployments in, I realized I was over my head with the stress alone. And this should be a time of enjoyment for a bride and groom. So Lauren jumped on as my coordinator and took charge of the bits and pieces I had thrown together from my Pinterest planned wedding. I can't say I was a great communicator with Lauren at all. But she never showed signs of agitation with me. With the few pictures I provided her of my vision and my budget, Lauren was able to work with her team and create a fairytale wedding and the wedding of my dreams. From the moss draped chandeliers to the mighty oak tree wrapped in lights, every aspect was perfect and romantic. Our venue was the Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. Duvall delicately dripped ivory fabric throughout the rafters and added moss with vibrant wine and burgundy flowers to the 6 hanging chandeliers. My bouquet made me cry...in a good way. I was so shocked at how beautiful it was and it fit my vision perfectly. Lets be honest, when you start planning a wedding....you know NOTHING about flowers, their seasons or cost. I found a picture I liked and gave it to Leanne and that was my extent of involvement on floral. The tablescapes were so delicate and whimsical with scattered branches, candles and lanterns. Our biggest reason for choosing the Carriage House was the beautiful oak tree on the grounds of the Carriage House. I love this tree. And I knew the moment Griff and I first saw it 2 year ago, that this is exactly the spot we want to get married. We asked Lauren if the oak could be wrapped in lights and she said YES! So Lauren and her team brought our most important vision to life when they wrapped our oak tree for our ceremony. The food was phenomenal. For the cocktail hour, we chose oysters on the half shell and the antipasto display. The display itself was breathtaking. I didn't want anyone to eat it and mess it up! The display had grilled veggies, charcuterie assortment, assorted cheeses, caprese and crostini. The oyster bar was done outside and the chef was hilarious. I hope he had as good of a time with our guests as my gusts did with him! The dinner we chose was buffet style. We chose a herbed pork loin, chicken breast with mushroom cream sauce, a root veggie medley, green beans with garlic and southern baked Mac and cheese. The next day, all people talked about was how fantastic the food was! Lauren even packed us a to go box and we devoured it as soon as we got back to the hotel room! For dessert, we went with a mini sweet dessert display with coconut chocolate truffles, chocolate covered strawberries, peanut butter balls, chocolate mousse in a chocolate cup, mini cupcakes and banana pudding. The banana pudding was a special request from the groom and it was by far the best banana pudding I have ever had. We also went with an open bar through Duvall. The bar tenders were so much fun and they remembered signature cocktails for both myself and my groom...I never had to wait for a drink. They just made sure it wound up in my hand! Thats first class service if you ask me. We highly recommend Duvall for all aspects of your event. The ease of having a one stop shop made my like so easy during those last few weeks and everything turned out just perfect!

Would 100% recommend them to anyone! We worked with Emma for our wedding reception and she was a dream to work with. Extremely helpful, responsive and easy going. The food was amazing! People are still talking to me about how good it was. My venue was very happy that I was using them because they love working with them as well. The chef is the nicest guy and will custom make anything that you want if it's not on their menu. Can't recommend them enough.

Duvall's Amanda McCarthy helped orchestrate our dream wedding this past Saturday (7.11.15) at the Confederate Home and College. From the venue, to my bouquet and her impeccable wedding coordinating, not a single detail was overlooked by Duvall's Amanda and her team. What I appreciated the most about Amanda was that even though it was a destination wedding, when we first met in person a few days prior to the ceremony, it felt as if we had been friends for years. With her top-notch attentiveness and spot-on intuition, she understood immediately the elegant, understated celebration we hoped to paint for our guests. I also highly recommend the beautiful Confederate Home and College for any serene outdoor wedding. While we'll always remember the Charleston humidity of our wedding day, we will equally remember Amanda's cool, calm demeanor which allowed everyone to stay relaxed and enjoy the celebration. Executive Chef Matt Greene is one of the best in the business, his menus and staff are fabulous and up to date. Their decor department is fabulous! Their store house holds sooooo many choices for decor, table settings for any menu selection or event, big or small and so much more! They are truly great at pulling off GORGEOUS events! Is it possible to give them 10 stars!?! Cause they blew me away with their professionalism, communication, and talent. The food was unbelievable. Our guest enjoyed everything from the cocktail hour to the desserts. Emma really helped us make the right selections for the number of people and dietary needs. She helped take my ideas and make them happen (ex. the tequila, lavender lemonade signature drink was a hit!) My brother in law is very picky about cakes and said ours was the best wedding or any other cake he's ever had. (vanilla cake with caramel icing - seriously amazing) Ashlyn on the decor team helped take my Pinterest dreams and make them reality. We had shotgun shell boutineres, which they'd never done before and I absolutely loved them. I wanted simple, chic, country style and she nailed it!! They helped us pick the perfect table setup for our venue, got us an in-case-it-rains backup tent on standby, and arranged all the rentals needed. One year later we are celebrating with a mini version of our meal and cake. This was something I asked not expecting it would happen as it's such a small order for them, but Emma made it happen for us. We're so happy to enjoy this delicious food once again! Don't pick any other caterers - Duvall is it.

We used Duvall for catering our food, decor, and flowers. They did a great job working with us. We had a few minor issues but things worked out fine. The food was delicious! Most of the flowers were perfect. The decor was beautiful! After looking back at our pictures one year later, I am reminded of how the decorations were falling down before the guest even arrived. Duvall did give us a little bit on a cash refund but the memories are still disappointment.
