I was skeptical. I've been to a lot of "award winning" BBQ places. The meat here is legit. Pulled pork is good, standard, southern fare. The brisket was surprisingly very good. Juicy, tender, and not fatty, with a nice bark. The sauces are average: the hot is Texas Pete hot, the mild is a tomato-vineger base, and the mustard is the original with some mustard added. The sides are a mixed bag. Avoid the green beans, let me say it again AVOID THE GREEN BEANS. They take the worst from southern and northern and combine them, yeach. The Mac n cheese and coleslaw are both solid though. Otherwise the building is funky New South with limited inside seating and plenty of outside. Beers are on offer in a can but you'll pay for them. And by god there's a kids menu. I look forward to trying the turkey, other sides and banana pudding. All in all it's a good experience and just needs a little work to be great.

This is the best brisket I have ever eaten. It was smoked perfectly. I could cut it with a fork. Really, it fell on my fork and melted in my mouth. I was so amazed at its deliciousness that I could not eat my sides. Bless yourself by eating at Bobby’s BBQ.

It’s not bad.... the pulled pork Is very good... but I have ordered brisket three different times.. brisket is soggy, ALOT of fat... just not a good quality cut of meat.. Sides are Really Good!! But a little pricey for the quality

Bobby's BBQ is a taste of Texas food in Simpsonville. The brisket sandwich has a good bark with a great flavor. The sauce is a vinegar base with good flavor. The cornbread casserole is my favorite side dish. The owner is a very nice guy, and the staff is excellent!

Absolutely the best BBQ around! We had it for the first time and it was better than I expected. Even my picky eating child loved it! The only thing I wish is it was a bit bigger since they are so busy. The word has certainly gotten out about this place. You have to try it! Everyone there is super friendly which makes it an all around amazing dinner!

We had a GREAT experience at Bobby's! We had four people in our party and we all had different meats, and everything was amazing! The cheesy potato casserole was delicious and the ribs were some of the best I've ever tasted! Fall off the bone delicious and the seasoning was amazing! We were lucky enough to meet the owners, who are amazingly hard-working people! This is worth the short drive from Greenville to the adorable town of Fountain Inn!

Wow! Yum, yum and yum! I got the brisket, green beans and cheesy potato casserole, and I had plenty of my daughters sweet potato crunch. Everything was delicious. The sweet potato crunch was so good, most recipes are overloaded with cinnamon, this was buttery and just sweet enough.

Love it! We've been trying to come to Bobby's for so long & we finally made it. We visit many bbq joints & this is by far the best we've tried yet. Octavius greeted us & informed us on everything they had to offer. He even hooked us up with some free banana pudding & brisket! Customer service was amazing as well as the food. Highly recommend!!

What a great BBQ joint. Definitely one of the best in Upstate South Carolina. The brisket was smoky while being tender and juicy. The pulled pork and ribs were also great choices. The sweet potato side was sweet with a nice crunch on top. The coleslaw was crunchy while not having too much dressing. It was a nice comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend as a must try.

I am vegetarian and was ecstatic to find out that they have a BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich and green beans that were vegan as far as I could tell. My husband had the cheese sausage, pork ribs, brisket and mac n cheese. The staff was overly helpful in explaining the menu and making suggestions. My husband even got invited back for a sneak peek in the smoker room where he admired "Mercy" and "Grace". Everything was super clean and fresh. It is extremely hard to find somewhere to eat that has a vegan option, but to find one at a BBQ restaurant meant so much to me. My husband and I could finally go out to eat and it not be a burden or frustration for my husband :D

This is a great place to eat, the food is fantastic. The problem I find is they are expensive. We went order to brisket sandwich plates, it cost us 35 dollars, so be prepared.

Bobby’s BBQ Is like coming Home for a family BBQ! The location is wonderful with quick access to Hwy 385. The building is easily accessible from a main highway and visible from the road. The restaurant is kept impeccable clean and the decor is rustic and befitting for the wonderful food! Now the food..:: OMG the Brisket is tender juicy and scrumptious! The turkey has a unique citrus taste that will melt in your mouth. The ribs are falling off the bone and freaking delicious! They have a choice between pork and beef ribs! Warning the beef ribs are huge!!! But most certainly delicious!!! The desserts will make you applaud and want more and more!!!! I had a taste for some BBQ and decided to check this place out and I am so glad that I did. I was acknowledged with smiles as soon as I walked in. I decided to dine in and ordered the brisket, coleslaw and baked beans. OMG that brisket was the very BEST I have ever had. It just melts in your mouth because it is so tender and juicy and full of flavor. I decided to order additional sandwiches to take home to the family. I ordered 2 brisket, 2 pulled pork which was also delicious

First visit once we pulled into the parking lot there were minimum spots to park it was pretty full with about 15 cars in it so the parking is not that great. Once you get inside it was pretty busy and you don't have much standing room. Once you get to the front desk staff is very friendly service and very quick, food is fair but the green beans are terrible do not get them.. the pulled pork is fair and the baked beans are okay... the sauce is okay and the tea is fair.. atmosphere is pretty good..Great spot for family and friends

Real authentic barbecue. Great brisket. Huge beef ribs. Everything is so moist and juicy and flavorful. Even though you don't need it, their sauces are great too. Plan ahead since they don't have regular "restaurant" hours. And it may cost more than your average BBQ but it is well worth it. Thank you Bobby.

Be prepared to pay an outrageous price! We ordered 2 ribs, and 4 sides and two teas dinner for two and paid $73. We had more bone then meat. Not enough food to get full.

My family and I have now eaten at Bobby's on 4 occasions...we have LOVED every meal! My family is BBQ aficionados and Bobby's is the best we have EVER eaten. My Mom and Dad have eaten the pulled pork and brisket and say it is mouth-watering- My Mom also loves the turkey tacos-I am vegan and was so excited to learn that Bobby's did not forget all of us....The BBQ jack fruit is amazing...you really can not tell that it is not pulled pork...DELICIOUS....Bobby's is now our weekly treat....

This is home cooked barbeque. I had brisket that was lean and very tasty. My granddaughter had the pulled pork Even the sides were delicious, ours were green beans, potato casserole and mac and cheese. This is a very simple place with incredible barbeque. The portions are large and very filling.

The Brisket was good, I loved all the sauces. I enjoyed the coleslaw, the green beans had no flavor, except some kind of oil. The place is small, with group setting. I felt very rushed and cramped. I had to give my order 3 times, to 3 people. I think they need to work on a few things.

Great sausage and Artisan bun. Great pulled pork. Great pork ribs. Potato casserole was decent. Baked beans were pretty darn good. I was not crazy about the green beans. The ordering process got a little chaotic and we realized one of our sandwiches got left off but at least that means it also didn't get charged. Not a big deal. Look forward to eating here again.

Great place - local, owner was super friendly as was all of the staff. Very clean with little concierge stations in the bathroom—even stocked with individual baby changing bags (a onesie and a diaper). The brisket, pork ribs and sides were delicious and the sauces were excellent.

My first visit..must it is a very busy place.. No table service..order and pay as enter.. They prepare your meal as you wait. You can see them cut/weigh your BBQ.. Sides are freshly made.. Ribs, brisket and Turkey are off the chart good... This place is busy.. Be prepared to wait in line and the parking lot is small..can be difficult to get out of during peak hours..

Good BBQ...but make sure you take your wallet. I got 1lb of pulled pork and 1lb of sausage and it was $33!!! Sorry Bobby but you won't see me back in there. Bucky's, Mutts or Henry's is much better and cheaper!!!

I don't know what it is about Greenville area BBQ but the pulled pork never has any of that nice smokey flavor you'd expect from a good BBQ joint and is pretty bland. It was a better sandwich and not as dry as Bucky's but still lacking compared to other regions I've eaten in the state. That said, the brisket was very good and redeemed my opinion of this location so I recommend going with that and will be back again, just not for the pulled pork.

First let me say their food is delicious! We had pulled pork, sausage, mac & cheese, green beans, sweet tea. Hot sauce and my fav was their original sause. Love love the food, good quality too. Friendly service. The only con was the organization: long line waiting to order, no waitresses to give refills, limited seating, and running out of things. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for those items. But, I will be back, the wait was worth it!!!!!

It's a small place, but large enough and predict it will grow in size and popularity. Go now while you can get in without a long wait. Just down the road in FOUNTAIN INN.

I know BBQ pretty well! Lived in Texas for several years, Uncle is a competitive BBQ'er in Texas. So when ppl were raving about the brisket I was skeptical. My wife ordered it for my birthday this past weekend. It lived up to they hype. Congratulations for having the best BBQ in the area. I mean that.
