I would recommend Rettews Catering to any couple planning their wedding! The entire planning process with them from start to finish was simple, and fun! My husband and I consider ourselves "foodies" but we had some picky eaters in our families so we wanted our food to be fun and delicious but not too fancy or unique. Rettews hit the nail on the head with providing a fun twist on our favorite foods for cocktail hour; pad thai in mini takeout containers, mini pierogies and kielbasas, shrimp cocktail, mini tacos, and fresh bruschetta. The servers and bartenders were so friendly and there was never a line at the bar. They set our reception tables with all the silverware, linens, napkins and glassware, it looked beautiful (photo below)! The dinner service went so smoothly and kept the evening moving, we chose a Beef Brisket plated meal. The best part was that when my husband and I sat down at our spot after our first dance they had our drink of choice from the bar at our seats and had servers checking in with us and our immediate family during the whole reception. Jennifer, Michelle and Kristen are there for you every step of the way to help by giving ideas and making suggestions! I will definitely be using Rettew's Catering again for future events!

Rettew's Catering catered our wedding this past weekend and they went above and beyond to make sure that our day was perfect. Jennifer was great to work with and was quick to get back to me if I decided I wanted something changed. Our guests loved all the food and the service by the staff was exceptional! We were so happy with everything and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a top of the line catering company!

Choosing Rettew’s Catering was one our easiest wedding planning decisions. We sampled catering from multiple catering companies, and no one came close to Rettew’s level of taste, presentation, menu options and price. All of the other catering companies compromised in one or more of those categories. With Rettew’s, the flavors that they established were remarkable. Their presentation was Pinterest worthy. We also had the comfortability of appeasing the tastes of all of our guests, as well as our own, by utilizing their well-balanced and customizable menu options. It was refreshing to make a wedding planning decision that we could be completely confident with. Not to mention the excitement and anticipation we had for our guests to experience Rettew’s creations. Two small details that held a large impact during the day of the wedding: 1) Rettew’s delivered a large sampling of hour ‘devours to us privately while we transitioned between our ceremony and cocktail hour. This allowed us to decompress following the ceremony and to enjoy the awesome hour ‘devours before greeting guests. 2) Since our dinner style was buffet based, Rettew’s personally assembled our two plates and continued to service our food and drink needs for the remainder of the night. This freed up more time for us to conversate with guests, use the dance floor, and relax in the moment. The bar service that they provided was also exceptional. We continue to receive assurance in our decision making through the compliments of friends and family. We highly recommend!

Rettew's was so accommodating. We were able to look at a list of things they usually make and then change things if we needed or wanted to. The chef even told us he could make our "Gramdma's Chicken" if thats what we wanted for our day. For dessert, we chose to go with a small cake and cupcakes and we were able to pick from a variety of different flavor combinations. The night flew by but they made sure we had our own plate of hors d'oeuvres and even made us togo boxes of the main course for us to eat later. Best wedding food ever!

WOW. Where do I even begin with Rettew’s? If they are not on your list, YOU MUST ADD THEM! From beginning to end Rettew’s was so easy to work with.My husband and I attended a tasting that they hosted and we knew right away that we had to have them at our wedding. All of the food was amazing. Rettew’s provided everything from table linens to bartenders. They took care of a majority of the clean up and everything went so smoothly. Michelle was our contact throughout the whole process and she was quick to answer every question we had. On the day of, the staff was on top of everything. They were constantly checking in on my husband and I, making sure we had food and drinks the whole night. They served us and the bridal party before the guests were able to get up and get food. This was really great because we were able to finish eating before having to mingle with all of our guests. My husband and I didn’t do a first look, so we completely missed our cocktail hour (this was planned). Once we got to our table the staff at Rettew’s made sure we had a plate of everything that was at cocktail hour. From food to service Rettew’s was excellent. We highly recommend them to anyone on the hunt for a caterer.

Rettew's catered our wedding on July 13th at the Landis Valley Museum in Lancaster and they offered exceptional service. Jennifer was excellent with communication & staying within our budget throughout the entire planning process. The tasting session we had was phenomenal - the food is fabulous! My guests raved about the food as well as the service. Jennifer made sure that everything was planned out and ready for our big day and our day-of coordinator was just as professional. We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Rettew's and we would recommend the company to anyone looking for a caterer for their wedding.

We were so lucky to have Rettews as our caterer on our wedding day. I have to preface by saying I spent five years working in the catering industry bartending weddings, so my expectations were high. I know how good things can go, and how bad they can end up sometimes. I guess the biggest compliment I can offer is that on the wedding day itself, I never noticed anything that that could be a potential blemish. The food was outstanding (we did buffet), my father came up to me at one point and said, “The food is excellent, everything is excellent!” And my mother came up to me and said how much she loved that “everything was so fresh and healthy.” The beef brisket carving station was a huge hit. The bartenders were great. The staff was friendly, smiling, attentive and on top of everything. The place looked amazing. People loved the appetizers. Honestly, everything exceeded our expectations. Jennifer was amazing to work with during the planning process. She implemented our ideas on the salad and one of the appetizers, even though it wasn’t what they normally do. We attended one of their invited tastings and that was a great way to get a feel for the quality of the food. Honestly they made everything so smooth and easy. I would recommend them to anyone, and if I could go back in time we wouldn’t have changed a thing.
