First off great atmosphere and a country style interior. Second Staff is polite and always making sure you r good or if need anything else. Finally the food is excellent and recommend the breakfast mash.

Food was excellent, service was great! They make their own iced tea and it was what I needed on a hot day. Had the French dip with sweet potato fries, husband had the Alfredo. 10/10 would eat their again.

Here's the thing about Edith's kitchen. The food is usually good but they usually screw something up or the service is bad or someone forgot to give you your check. We've had instances where food was cold, tea was cold, etc. But the food is always good and the prices are reasonable and there aren't a lot of great options in Danville so I come back.

Very friendly, good service, and a good meal. I stopped in for breakfast and enjoyed my bottomless cup of coffee and sausage gravy over rye. I will be back again.

We were one of two tables in the restaurant and glasses sat empty. Ordered a salad and got it WITH the meal??? Odd. Chicken was served to me not fully cooked and mashed potatoes were instant made with water. No butter, milk, salt. Definitely not from scratch!!!! The wait staff was not apologetic at all. We have tried this restaurant before and had a bad experience, gave it another go this time and it was WORSE! Will never go again. Best business is word of mouth and obviously will not be getting good verbal reviews from us!!!

Our daughter was placed in gmc danville .. weary and worn out we found ediths kitchen... stopping there was a blessing in disguise .. we walked in and we're immediately greeted by the waitress Amanda and felt instantly at home .. took interest in our story and why we were there .. upon gettin our meals had been informed that a couple that were regulars had paid our bill .. the food was amazing and the service top notch I would recommend eating here to anyone and we will be returning with our little one before we go home to meet her and the staff...

Good food. Soda tasted like it was alcoholic for some reason. Didn't like it very much. Everything else was fine though. Close to a pokestop.

Sunday Buffet. Get there early or dont expect a refill. Staff failed to inform us that buffet wouldn't be refilled. I had 2 old pancakes, a scoop of eggs and a slice of bacon. My wife had the same.... plus 2 coffees $25. Not only could they not be bothered to refill the buffet. They had no clean plates on both trips through the line. NOT WORTH IT. Eat at the Pine Barn Inn or Perkins.

Small family operation. Couldn't be more accommodating. Excellent appetizer options. Solid home style options as well as more upscale fare. I recommend them if you're on a budget or pressed for time.
