Drew and the staff of Cricket are knowledgable, friendly and reliable. They provided top-notch service, and were flexible with our changing needs leading up to the event. And the food was DELICIOUS! - Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the meal. My husband and I were looked after all evening long, and felt like royalty. Can't wait to use Cricket for future events!

First of all, please know - I do not usually write bad reviews, I am very hesitant write something that might hurt a small business, however in this case - I feel I must warn potential consumers. I wished I looked at the google reviews instead of The Knot reviews. The good news - the desserts were good, nice variety of pastries that tasted delicious. The bad news: We asked for Crudite and they changed it to Vegetable Garden Basket which apparently means fresh vegetables with grilled vegetables. The result was several guest asking if the carrots and asparagus were bad! For the Bruschetta Display there were to be 4 choices; one being carrot harriss with creme fraiche - you can see by the picture that nothing was label and there was a big bowl of creme fraiche not near the carrot harris so no one knew what was what. But this wasn't the worse of it. We also got passed hors d'oeuvres which were awful. The potato pancakes were undercooked (they tasted raw) and fell apart in your hand, the fried calamari tasted like rubber bands, the calzones had very little filling and the crispy asparagus was in puff pastry instead of phyllo. When I spoke with the owner Drew - who dropped off the food and wasn't pleasant then, he simply said it was a matter of opinion. We used them for a small party of 70 to see how they were before we hired them for a large wedding next year. Needless to say we will not be using them next year! If you are considering using them because of price - you would do better getting take out catering and hiring staff yourself.

Drew, I wanted to thank you on the excellent job you did for our holiday party this year. I missed last year's event so it was nice to be a part of the festivities this year. The food was the best ever. This group does love their salmon. I enjoyed everything as it was all excellent!! We asked you catering staff to help us with transporting the children's gifts to a waiting van and they; were more than welling to assist. Thanks again. George

Cricket Catering donated amazing food for an annual charity Auction at Penn Law (the proceeds from the Auction support students working for public interest organizations during the summer). The food was AMAZING and the communication was on-point. We are so grateful that Cricket supported Penn Law students in such a substantial way. I would recommend Drew and his team to anyone. We hired Cricket Catering for our Wedding at the Sage Farmhouse last month and Drew and his team are fantastic! His food is so good and really affordable! People are still telling me how much they liked the food, especially the salmon. We rented the chairs, tables, and linens from him as well for the ceremony and reception and he set them all up and took them all down - and there were lots of options for colors. We met with him a few times to pick out the food and were able to make requests - we didn't do a traditional cake, so Drew made us several little desserts which were a huge hit! He took notes every time we met with him based on what we talked about, and then emailed them to us, which was a great way to stay organized - I did find it easier to call instead of email when I had questions, especially during the planning. Highly recommend!

I would not recommend that you use Cricket Catering for your wedding. I loved working with Casey Rose but the week of the wedding she quit. That meant that I had to work with Drew the owner. He was very unprofessional. He made promises but on the day of the wedding those promises were not met. The bar tender left after the first 15 minutes of the reception. The girl said she didn't know how to cut a three-tiered wedding cake. So the cake was never cut and our guests didn't receive any cake. The food was ok but certainly not worth what we paid. Look elsewhere for your wedding reception!

We used Cricket Catering for our Wedding Celebration reception. We had appetizers and a set of 3 food stations. Both the food and staff were A+++. Our event was a complete success, and the team at Cricket went above and beyond to make this happen. I would definitely recommend them for any catering needs.
