Catering was the hardest decision we faced during wedding planning. When I began my communications with Portland Catering, I was so impressed by their responsiveness, and how helpful and detailed the staff was. My husband and I wanted to do a big pasta bar for a 200 person event, and with Portland catering, we were able to put together our perfect menu at such a reasonable price. Julie and team were so flexible and understanding in accommodating dietary restrictions, and special requests (including bar tending and specialty cocktails), and on the big day, the food was absolutely incredible! I cannot tell you how many of our guests told us ours was the best wedding food they had ever had. I absolutely recommend Portland Catering to any bride looking for their caterer!

In addition, they did an excellent job in setting up for the reception as serving the guests. We received numerous compliments on the food, and several our our guests asked us who the caterers were. When someone loves what they do, it shows. And for Julie and the rest of the crew at the Portland Catering Company, the love for what they do shines through every detail and conversation. All throughout planning our wedding, Julie was so genuinely excited and helpful, and felt more than just a caterer, but really like a friend. I didn't have time to travel to our venue with Julie to do a walk through, but after sending a few detailed pictures noting what goes where and what candles to light, etc., the team knocked it out of the park! They even helped us clean up afterward!! On the day of our wedding, everything from PCC was a 10/10: their attire, helpfulness, and this review would not be complete without praising the FOOD! Everything was delicious!! Especially the salmon! Most wedding food seems to be the same old chicken & mashed potatoes, but we had several guests tell us how much they enjoyed their food! The whole experience working together was so nice with unexpected discounts and kindness, I can't recommend this company enough. Your wedding / event will be in GREAT hands with PCC! :D

We used them to cater our company picnic at our office. We had two-hundred guests. From setup to cleanup they did a great job. They cooked the food onsite. The guests loved having the real barbeque atmosphere instead of precooked food you get at most events. The food was fresh, good quality, great tasting and had an appetizing presentation. The chefs and servers were professional, courteous and very helpful. Our guests were not all ready to eat when we had our designated serving time as they were busy visiting. They offered to let us keep use their serving containers, hot and cold coolers/warmers, utensils, plates, condiments for the rest of the weekend so the food would not go to waste. We appreciated them accommodating with all of our last minute changes we made our head count. We would definitely ask them to come help us with our next event!

Our experience was wonderful – Julie is great to work with, super helpful with menu recommendations and quick to respond. This is our 2nd year using Portland Catering Company for our annual volunteer appreciation banquet, and we’ll certainly do so again! The food is always excellent – I can vouch for last year’s chicken cordon bleu and mashed potatoes myself, as we had leftovers enough for staff; this year I didn’t get to try any of the statler chicken, but I heard rave reviews from our guests! Presentation is always great, delivery is always timely, and we would definitely recommend your services!

Portland Catering Company did an awesome job. On short notice I decided to have a surprise birthday party for my wife. I had never had a party catered before. When I contacted PCC they started to help me pull a plan together. They went over food choices and styles. Within one or two phone calls we were able to nail down the food and presentation. And, they continued to work with me as my guest count fluctuated. They stayed within the budget that I was looking for and kept me informed all through the process. Chelsea at PCC was the planner that I worked with and she was both friendly and helpful in getting me up to speed on what would be needed for the event. I also had PCC supply all the flatware and dishes. What a time saver this was. When the party was done, we did a quick rinse and stack of everything. PCC worked with me the following week (this was a Saturday party) to pick up all the supplies that they had provided for the party. I would, and I will purchase their services again. I can recommend this company.

If you want excellent and speedy customer service and delicious food, choose Portland Catering Company! I had never planned a big event before, and I received very thoughtful, tailored advice that gave me lots of confidence. Portland Catering Company's Catering Manager Julie helped me with all the steps of planning, pricing and invoicing--she would email me back promptly every time whenever I needed to tweak something. Their staff who helped me day-of were also extremely friendly and patient. All the patrons of my event were thrilled with the food! The portions are generous, too (a big plus if you're on a budget)!!!

I hired Portland Catering Company to provide bar service for a company open house I was throwing - in hindsight I should have asked them to do the food as well. Right from the beginning Katie was outstanding and professional. When Katie and Chelsea showed up for the event, they were ON TIME and so helpful. The bar looked swanky and impressive, and their choices for wine and beer were perfect. The company I hired to bring in the food was horribly late and disastrously unprepared when the food actually was delivered. Katie and Chelsea from Portland Catering Company jumped in and helped me make the food look presentable for the guests that were beginning to arrive. And then throughout the evening they were stellar - not just excellent customer service, but a fantastic representation of my company (which was unexpected but wonderfully welcomed). I will be a repeat customer, and I will sing the praises of Portland Catering Company to anyone who cares to listen. Thank you for making the event so wonderful.

Amazing food and service! Top notch! Locally owned and operated with made from scratch food!!! They handle anything from 10 boxed lunches to 300 or more guest weddings. Presentation is as beautiful as the food is good! They can accommodate nearly any request and they have top notch staff. You will definitely not be disappointed!!!

They gave us exceptional service from our first call, to the planning meetings and “week of” walk throughs, all way down to our wedding day. They offer services that many local caterers do not, for example: they will serve your own provided alcohol. We had Portland Catering Company cater my wedding this past June and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! We had so many guests comment on how impressed they were with the food. One thing I found unique about PCC is that they cook as they go at the venue. They don’t precook the food and bring it along. It was fresh and hot for every guest whether they were in the front of the buffet line or back of the line. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to me and all of our guests. Julie was wonderful to work with and the communication with her was so great throughout the whole process from beginning to end. We had our wedding last weekend and everything turned out great. Everyone loved the food, and Portland Catering Company ran everything so smoothly. Planning was easy and every time I called Chelsea was available to answer all of my questions. They even made last minute changes without any hesitation.
