I am so happy we were referred to Pearl Catering. We used Pearl for a two day company event. The food was unbelievable! The presentation was 5 star. We received so many compliments from our guests on how delicious the food was. Katie Carver was our event coordinator and she is AWESOME! Highly recommend working with her. She knows what she's doing. She had great suggestions and ensured our event went flawless. I cannot wait to use them for our upcoming holiday parties!

Best experience I've ever had with a caterer! I run a non-profit and had the pleasure of working with Noelle DePinna for my fundraising gala. This woman gets it done. Everything was top notch and first-class from the planning, communication, food quality, rentals, servers, bartending, clean-up and professionalism. All around superb service. Woudn't use anyone else.

I just want to give a shout-out to Pearl Catering and Amy Robinson!! I called her on Thursday with last minute plans to try and put together an event for 40 people on Saturday! So it was less than 2 days notice! She was able to help put something together for me in record time! She even texted with me on her day off to help with some last minute requests. We had our event last night at the Paramount Hotel. Needless to say, the food was amazing! The wait staff did a wonderful job. Everyone loved it and was really impressed that it was pulled off in record time! THANK YOU, AMY, FOR ALL OF YOUR PROMPT AND GREAT HELP!!! It was awesome!!!

Katie and Pearl Catering were absolutely amazing to work with! I highly recommend!! We found Pearl Catering as a recommended vendor from our wedding venue. Wow, we are so happy we went with them! We got to taste our food before committing to what we wanted for our wedding, which was so much fun. Katie made the whole process easy to understand, walked us through our options, and kept our budget in mind. We even coordinated the rentals through Pearl Catering which made our lives that much easier! The food was THE BEST. We had 4 passed appetizers during the cocktail hour, then different stations: mac n cheese bar, pulled chicken with corn salad, and tri tip with a hazelnut salad. Our guests didn't stop talking about how good the food was! Thank you Katie and Pearl Catering for a fantastic wedding. We really appreciate all of your help and the fantastic food!!!!

As a Wedding Coordinator here in Portland, Oregon, I get to work with Pearl Catering many times throughout the year. When I send my client's to Pearl, I know that they will not only receive delicious food (that is a given) but that they will also receive outstanding customer service throughout the entire process. Katie is truly a customer service rock star! Picking a caterer for your wedding can be an overwhelming process. I so appreciate how transparent Pearl's pricing is, and just the value couples receive when partnering with them. Also I love that my clients can also choose to have their rehearsal dinner/bridal shower luncheon etc at one of their restaurants. My client's love not having to find yet another vendor to provide those services. If you are looking for an awesome caterer, look no further. They are fantastic, and I know you wont be disappointed!

Mother of the Bride here.. We had a gorgeous wedding in August 2017 and used Pearl Catering. The food was delicious and received compliments from our guests. My concerns and to my dismay many of our 200+ guests made multiple comments/complaints in regard to Pearl Catering staff dumping out beverages off the guest tables throughout the entire evening!!! Turned out to be a HUGE excessive waste of all the beverages we had to pay for. Many glasses of wine/beer were scooped up off the tables and disappeared after multiple guests had just went and got another glass! AND this did not just happen at the end of the evening, this was continual throughout the dinner and reception. I thought it was just me, as I was busy with guests and on the dance floor and I personally ‘lost’ 3 full glasses of wine. I contacted Annette at Pearl Catering a few days later and explained the situation and she said that she would ask her lead staff person about it. A few days later, Annette called me back and said that the lead told her that their procedure is to only dispose or remove a beverage glass if it only had less than a sip remaining. So basically, she called me a liar and that my complaint was unfounded. I called her and asked for some compensation for the excessive waste and she said she would call me back, to this date she has never called me back. I stopped by for Happy Hour at Brix the next month and left her a note and she still has not responded. Also, the Bride herself is Dairy Free and sadly she was served a dry chicken breast and a plate of lettuce and cranberries (no dressing at all). They apparently are unable to make a tasteful meal to accommodate a dietary restriction. I find it shocking that this is what they served the Bride on her special day! Great food, but poor service during and after the event, and any complaints after the bill is paid, do not get addressed. I do not write reviews, (my first) but feel the need to recommend others to look into another catering service!

Absolutely incredible food! From the initial tasting, to the leftovers we ate on our honeymoon, we enjoyed every bite. We received so many compliments from guests, and would recommend Pearl to other couples! We did our dinner buffet-style, and had salmon and steak (both amazing). We chose the pear and walnut salad, orzo, and mashed potatoes as sides. All staff was very friendly and professional!

We worked with Katie at Pearl Catering and she was absolutely amazing from day one!! She had us come in multiple times for tastings to find out exactly what our food style for the big day was she offered many different options that weren't in the wedding packet and would have additional items to try that we hadn't even asked for! They even had waffles and pancakes made for our kids who were joining us for the tasting! Since we didn't have a day of coordinator Katie really stepped up to make sure our day was perfect! She did a walk thru of the venue with us a month before the wedding and dealt with the venue manager who was a nightmare! The day of the event was perfect!! Katie was there making sure everything was ready to go and all the other vendors knew what to do and when. The food was amazing and everyone was complimenting us all night! Thanks to Katie and Pearl Catering our reception was absolutely perfect and I could enjoy it completely stress free!

I'd highly recommend Pearl Catering for any special event. I chose them to cater my wedding and was very impressed with the level of service & quality of food. They arrived a little later than expected, but had everything set up on time - I had people raving about how good the food was several weeks after the wedding! The portions were generous - there were tons of leftovers for our guests to take home. Make sure to request takeout boxes if you'd like to offer that option to guests (it wasn't automatic per our catering agreement). As far as weddings go, it seems like vendors always want to seize the opportunity to mark up the price, or encourage last minute extras to make the day more "special" (because then they get more money). Our reception ended 30 minutes earlier than the anticipated schedule, and we were billed for the server's actual-time, not the scheduled time of the event. I thought this was very kind and ethical, especially since I would have completely understood needing to pay for the scheduled time. Rita Kriss was our Catering Coordinator. I'd HIGHLY recommend her. She listened to me and my now-husband to make sure she heard our requests for our special day, and she executed the catering portion of the event seamlessly. She's zealous about food and event appearances, and she offered the right balance of feedback and suggestions while still taking everything we wanted very seriously.
