We had our wedding September, 2018 at the Portland White House B&B. What a great venue! Kim, from the White House staff was outstanding helping with arrangements, both friendly and competent. She always came through. The food was provided by Mezzaluna and was a huge hit. They position themselves as fine catering and they lived up to this. As an afternoon wedding, Chef John suggested a selection of hors d'oeuvres ranging from bacon wrapped dates to empanadas. He and Robert also made excellent recommendations for wine and champagne. It was all great and we received many positive comments from our guests. Everything about our experience was positive. We highly recommend Mezzaluna for any fine catering needs.

I hosted a corporate luncheon at Portland's White House last week (Dec. 2018) and I could not have been more pleased with how it turned out. The entire team paid great attention and detail to making sure our event was perfect- from the setup, to the communication, to the service the day of, to their flexibility in accommodating the many dietary restrictions our guests had. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful and the venue is absolutely gorgeous and "so classy", as my guests commented. The food was phenomenal, and the level of service was beyond my expectations. I look forward to hosting this event with them again next year!

The food was great!! That’s why we hired Mezzaluna to help us plan a rehearsal dinner party for our son‘s wedding. Chef John, Robert and team looked over the venue and figured out how to accommodate 68 friends and family from out of town. Not to mention 8 late additions on the day before the 4th of July! Service, timing and attention to our guests made the evening very special. Could not be happier with Mezzaluna. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Did I say the food was great?

Elaine and I can’t thank you enough for everything you did to create such a lovely and delicious wedding for us at Portland's White House on August 1. Every detail was impeccably thought through. Your servers were friendly and professional and all so cute. The appetizers were lovely, especially the vegan lettuce wraps! So good! And dinner, what can I say. The salad was light and refreshing with a perfect vinegrette and the entrees were so flavorful and presented beautifully. Dessert was over the top! Perfection. And, thank you for taking such good care of our two vegans too! You are a darling couple and a joy to work with.

Mezzaluna catered an event for hundreds of lawyers, judges, and their children at an outside, picnic-type event. Chef John, Robert, and the rest of the staff were prepared, courteous, and gracious, and they served up delicious food. Every guest I asked had nothing but good things to say about the food. And Robert even sent me pictures of the set-up, food, and some of the guests after the event! Mezzaluna would be my first choice for a caterer again. Thank you, Chef John and Robert!

Mezzaluna's staff was awesome to work with! They took our idea and made it better and more beautiful. Our Board Holiday Party was the best thanks to the excellent service and fantastic food. I heard nothing but compliments from the Board members, including them asking to have Mezzaluna back for this year's Holiday Party. You can't ask for anything better than what Chef John and his team provides their clients. Plus, Chef John is so much fun!
