Always good. Best set up for Mexican food. Noise levels can get loud or would otherwise be 5 stars. Try the Atomic Salsa if you like hot. If you've never had one you must have their fried stuffed avocado. Homemade style tortillas. Complimentary Sopapillas to end your meal. Always great frozen margaritas. My favorite is the Sangria Swirl.

Man I love Ted's. It's a stellar place to eat at. Even tho the meals are great, I won't lie, I go there to binge on atomic salsa and chips. One of the very few places in the metro who makes their own chips fresh to serve. My only complaint are those darn surveys they give you. Service is awesome. The Menu is awesome. Please stop giving people a survey to fill out.

We love Ted's for all of the extras that come with your meal for sure. But what really sets them apart is the service. We have never had a bad wait staff when we are there. The Monterey Chicken with substituted grilled veggies as the side is hands down the best thing on the menu. I love that I can get a healthier option when my family and friends wants Mexican food. It is also wallet friendly when feeding a big family or group.

I worked at this restaurant for about a month and a half. First and foremost the place has bugs and water dripping out of the roof in the kitchen so God knows what extra ingredients you'll receive on your taco salad. management is very unprofessional and could care less about the guest experience. The place has decent food its just not ran very efficiently. I actually saw a server drop a customers dessert on the floor and pick it up and continue to put it on the plate as if noting happened. All i'm trying to say is be very careful choosing to eat at this specific Teds location. Check your food to make sure there are no bugs or anything else else to cause sickness.

I have been eating here since the place opened, and it has always been really delicious food. I ate here last week, and I was very disappointed. My chips were cold and so was the queso dip. When I received my food, it too was cold after 5 minutes because the of the fans blowing on it. Not only that, my chicken enchiladas were mediocre. I was very disappointed, but the service was good.

Diana was our server and she was fantastic, very speedy, and had tons of smiles and enjoyment to share with us. The chips and the three sauces and the queso dip was the bomb. The perfect margarita was fantastic especially with the patron and the Grand Marnier. our dinner entree started with wonderfully christakos before the main plate came. Giving us time to enjoy the tacos instead of overfilling the table with food. The chili relleno stuffed with chicken and cheese was superb.the Escondido especial was also fantastic with four different servings of tamale enchilada and taco with rice and beans

This was one of (if not the best) Mexican food I ever had. Everything I ordered surpassed expectations and had an amazing quality: The tortillas, the quesadillas, the refried beans, the queso, the cheese, the garlic infused mashed potatoes, the guacamole, etc., everything was absolutely delicious. The dough of the tortilla and quesadillas is extremely soft and sets this place apart from many other Mexican restaurants. There were three varieties of Três Leches Cakes which is never seen in other restaurants. The chocolate one I tried was absolutely delicious.

We arrived and were told there would be a 20-30 minute wait and debated on whether we wanted to stay. I am so glad we waited, because it was well worth it! Once we were seated service was prompt, plus our server Antonio was very friendly without being overbearing. Our food arrived much quicker than we expected, and it was still steaming hot. The portions are huge, and the price was excellent! I would expect food this good with portions this big to cost a lot more. I had to hold myself back to save room for dessert and I am SO glad I did. The tres leches was so good I could have three plates all to myself. We were incredibly satisfied and pleasantly surprised by how great the restaurant was. It's not flashy, and not immediately obvious from the street, but do not let that fool you! This is an excellent restaurant that I will happily return to any time I come back to OKC.

We were charged a surcharge extra because we are Vegans. They said they do make vegan chimichogas. When the waitress brought the tab she said she didn't know and to ask the manager. So we ask and he told us that yes they do make vegan food but since it is not a menu item there would be a surcharge. We ask why were we not told about the charge before the tab came? The manager said it's just something they do. We went to this same Mexican restaurant on my birthday night and we told them that it was my Birthday. No one sang or anything special. We are Sr citizens. We saw the wait staff sing for at least two guests while we were there. I am not happy with this Ted's. The Ted's on N Meridian about Memorial gave us excellent service and no extra costs. We were treated special. It's the same chain, but different locations. This one gets 1 star in my book.

I was a little let down. The food came out warm but not hot. The fajitas you could touch the pan wasn't sizzling and the meat was just kind of warm. Our tea tasted old. We had to ask for refills of water. The chips and cheese did come out hot. The servers change shift in the middle of us so maybe that's what it was. But I was very disappointed we were there to celebrate three birthdays we'd all been looking forward to trying Ted's to me location for us.

Food tasted good, but for the prices it better, too bad the hostess is the only person who cares about the customers. Walked on got menu sat down with friend and family to wait to have order taken, was a bit out the way so went and checked with hostess and qatched her for the second time activate her mic and let the other employees know we are waiting and we waited inside in front of kitchen this time. After another 10 minutes of waiting the hostess came over and asked of our order had been taken and it had not and she physically went to the back this time to inform them of the error. So in the end we got our food just as the family that walked in behind us with no reservation was leaving after they were sat with no reservation and order taken they got to eat while my friend, wife, 5 year old child and i waited to get a to go order. This place has the same poor customer service it always has except for when it first opened. Not fine dining. Gabriella's if you want a guaranteed good experience. There are no nice mexican joints seeing as in two days i have had 4 mexican restaurants from grand junction Colorado to oklahoma city oklahoma not give good customer service through either the wait staff or the kitchen except El Tapatio. All we wanted was to place a togo order and it took nearly an hour to place the order watching multiple families be seated with reservation (which i totally understand) and multiple families with no reservation be seated order eat and pay before we got to order. That is just inexcusable.

Some of the best tortillas I have ever had hands down, and the service is always amazing! Don’t know how you guys do it but the servers here are always so wonderful and on top of their game! Recently I had Madie as my server, and she was an absolute pleasure! She made my day better with her smile and genuinely asking how I am doing, she made sure everything came out how I ordered and to my liking.. what can I say other than keep up the amazing training and good work Teds! I've never been able to find a main course entree I like at Ted's. But they get 2 stars just for the chips, queso, salsa and tortillas! I always feel rushed, this location is too crowded, they try to squeeze too many tables in a tight space which makes it awkward, it feels like you're having dinner with the table of strangers next to you. Normally I wouldn't complain about how fast the food is served but our food was there in less than 5 minutes which obviously means nothing is cooked fresh. My husband ordered the pork street tacos and the pork looked absolutely disgusting. It was dry and looked like dog food. I had a simple ground beef taco that wasn't even warm, and mainly stuffed with lettuce. Also, they recently started charging extra for "premium sides" like the corn and potatoes. Although, the servers don't mention this when they ask what sides you want! Anyways, overall disappointed yet again and don't plan to return.

Man it pains me to give this place such a low rating because the food is pretty good just the way they run the place is off. I ordered 2 taco entrees 1 came with guacamole 1 didn't so they charged me $4 for guacamole which is fine. After waiting 50 minutes for my take out order I saw tables walk in eat and walk out while I was waiting. I get home to try and enjoy our dinner and the bag only had the tacos in them without anything but some extra tortillas. Even the onions I asked for on the side weren't there so for dinner tonight we are eating steak, pork, and tortillas for dinner with nothing else.

Pretty solid Tex-Mex, however I got the Double Combo Fajitas with steak and chicken and the portion was super small. My wife and I split it and I only got 4 and a half pieces of steak. Definitely not worth the $30 plus price tag.

OK? It is not that the place was poor, mind you, but it also was not the place the reputation purports it to be. I have had a lot of Mexican in a lot of places, and the only thing that really stood out about this one was the reputation. Sure, you get free cheese sauce with your chips, and tortillas as well. I am not sure the point if the tortillas before the meal and the cheese sauce was thinking and runny. Nothing close to exceptional. The salsa was good, inoffensive and simple. The follow on hot salsa was warm, but there was not a lot going on from a flavor perspective. The pork carnitas served with my meal was tender and most, but lacking in flavor. No hints of lime and cumin, heck, not even much in the way of salt. Bottom line, the place is not bad, but it also presented nothing I would go out of my for and left me with no reason to recommend it over any other place.

Joined a group for a meal in the banquet hall. We were told we would have all you can eat fajitas (fyi $23 a head - drinks included). Fajitas tasted like they were microwaved, no caramelization on the vegetables at all, no tortillas either. How can you have fajitas without tortillas? Seriously. And as for the drinks initially all we were offered was water and and unsweet tea, no lemons. An hour after things got started we finally got tortillas. And eventually sweet tea showed up. Don't bother with the banquet hall.

Have had an amazing experience at Ted's! The staff are wonderful and friendly! We had the pleasure of Adriana as our waitress! She is a trainer and for good reason! She was spectacular and made sure we always had fresh Tortillas and chips and salsa/cheese sauce! We also had the pleasure of Ryan being our waitress the next time we went in! She is a manager but was willing to take on the task to serve us due to our server being out. She was very friendly, knowledgable, and always kept up with whatever we asked for! She even refilled drinks and tortillas or chips and salsa at the perfect times! As we were boxing up our meals that we couldn't finish as they serve generous portions, she came back out to the table with 2 small boxes and told us they were the complimentary FRESH MADE Sopapillas!! We also got a "Fresh Setup" while we were boxing up our meals!! Wowza!! Definitely a place that you should check out!! You will not be disappointed and definitely will not be leaving hungry, or empty handed for that matter!!

I have gone to this location twice in the past month on Mondays, mid afternoon, and I agree on some of the other reviews that the location is kind of odd and slightly cramped, and I could see how during busy hours that would greatly magnify that issue. To me it seems like the building was built for a smaller restaurant originally. Parking is borderline horrendous. Frankly I would consider a move or possibly adding a location off of nw expressway might, as quite a few drive to Ted’s. That said, the food was great, service phenomenal, and inside was clean and nice.

I only give two stars not because of the food or the service, because that is ON POINT. What I loathe is their archaic overhead speaker paging system. Every 3.2 seconds there is a LOUD announcement for a table opening up. Its obnoxious. You cant hear your friends talk because it is blasting in decibels! I think I have hearing loss. A handheld pager is a small unit you hold that flashes when your table is ready. I recommend THEY INVEST IN THAT IMMEDIATELY. I will not go back to that location.

I dont know what happened to Ted's. I usually come from out of state twice a year and have enjoyed going to Ted's for some great food. This time it was a horrible experience. It started off with dirty silverware, then a bug in the drink. The food wasn't any good to anyone in my party. Fajitas were cold, meat was overcooked and dry vegetables were undercooked and crunchy. The nachos has a weird taste. The chicken Monterey was dry with very little flavor. The whole experience was horrible, not the Ted's I have looked forward to coming to town to have. I have always given a 5 star in the past but sadly couldn't do it this time.

We ate lunch here in transit to Dallas - our family of four, plus my daughter's boyfriend. It was lunchtime and the place was PACKED. I've been here a couple of other times and it usually has a line, so we weren't surprised by the 25 minute wait. The good... Amazing home made tortillas. And, they bring salsa, queso, relish and butter to enjoy with the fresh tortillas. You may need to ask - I don't know that they bring all of this automatically. There's a decent lunch menu with reasonable pricing. My son and I shared fajita chicken nachos. They were really good - the smoky charred chicken chunks were delicious. The food is very good but not great. There's not a ton of imagination when it comes to the menu or preparation of the food, but it's good. The bad... The restaurant is smallish and gets busy at meal times so you may have to wait. Parking around the restaurant is limited so we had to park across the street. All in all, Ted's is solid - there's a reason it's the favorite go-to for OKC Mexican food.

The best Mexican food I ever had!!

This place was getting high marks - hands over fist and was recommended for top Mexican at my hotel, so I gave it a try. It was SUPER busy - a good sign, but I was seated in a timely manner and the service was really good. The server confused my order a bit, but not so bad it mattered. The food is colorful and seems very authentic. The warm tortillas could be eaten on their own - fabulous. The only let down, despite how pretty the food looked, was the lack of Mexican seasoning. The seasoning was very dulled to the point where the nachos and taco, even the enchilada had a blurred common taste....fresh but not flavorful. I wanted cilantro, cumin and chilies or chili powder to really pop - it doesn't. The most flavorful items were the sides - rice and beans. They were excellent. You will enjoy your trip but don't be surprised if the flavors don't overwhelm.

Service is not like it once was. Food menu seems to have changed as well. Love the salsa and chips. Ordered double fajitas on a Sunday afternoon for 2 for $31.00. Did not want the rice and beans so substituted them for a salad for another $1.59 added. This is one of the more expensive venues in the metro for simple Mexican food in my view.

I had the lunch special soft tacos. Shredded beef is slow cooked and piled high! Terrific flavor, terrific service. We had a great lunch right at noon on a weekday. The served us hot food fast, and it was all spectacular. Ask for the special salsa and fried jalapenos. Piled on those handmade tortillas...that's a hard bite to beat! This restaurant is in a very hectic part of OKC, so be prepared for the traffic. Inside it's quiet enough for napping babies. Its also a great place for company lunches.

Consistently good food and service. I have never went to Teds and left unhappy, just super full. They will also send you home with a free set up (Chips, Salsa & Queso) when you purchase a meal if you ask. No complaints!

Great food! I had never been to a Mexican restaurant that brought chips, salsa, queso, for each person and freshly made flour tortillas that were to die for. After dinner they brought us sopapias that were heavenly. Martin was our waiter and he was friendly and provided friendly service. I also noticed that her was helping the other staff and encouraging on his co-workers! It was all very impressive! I will go every time I am in the area!

The food was extremely excellent. And I have no words to explain how good . Our waiter was. He was a one of a kind and it was almost as if he knew what you was going to say before you said it and he just knew what you wanted and how you wanted it.

They catered my best friends anniversary party. And we were very disappointed in the quality of the food and the service. We had a chicken fajita bar. The dinner was at 4. They did not serve any tortillas until 5pm. And by then everyone had already gotten food. The chicken looked and tasted like it had been steamed and not grilled like usual. The drinks ran out constantly. It was poorly handled all the way around. I won't be using g them to cater for me ever. Especially when it cost $24/person

Favorite location. I am doing low carb. I had the fajita salad with a side of avacado with the house dressing for the first time. Simply delicious! The chicken fajita enchiladas are amazing too.

I really like the chips, salsa and fresh tortillas. The food is Tex-Mex, so if you like that you will be fine. I have been to the location on May several times for work functions and the staff is always friendly and accommodating.

The wait staff has always been as amazing as the food! Today I had a chicken fajita chimichanga with shredded cheese on top, along with the rice and beans. Delicious!!

Disclaimer: I had recieved a very positive recommendation for this restaurant so I had pretty high hopes. Food is good but I prefer the more hole-in-the-wall type of venues and this certainly was not that. Yes they serve tortillas and queso for free but there is no plate sharing and anyone who doesn't order an entree is automatically charged like $8 for the chips/tortillas and sauces. For the prices of the other entrees you could go somewhere less crowded and just order queso and tortillas with a more reasonably priced entree.

Not what they used to be. But they were nice enough to comp the meal. But I would rather of had a great meal, after all that is what I was looking for when we went there. Seems like expansion ruins all the once upon a time great mexican restaurants around Okc.
