This place is an OKC staple. It's small, it's busy, it's delicious. Neptune's has been around since 1974 and does things just like they always have. Fresh soft bread, thinly shaved deli meats and cold shredded lettuce. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And the prices are cheap. Not great for a big group but they do take to go orders for big groups.

The sandwiches here are just fine. The bread is made fresh and the ingredients are also fresh. There's really nothing particularly special about it though... there are no special sauces or relishes or any of the things that I think make a sandwich place stand out. If you want a fresh sandwich just like you might make at home, this place is fine.

Neptune Subs has really good subs...when I was a kid my mom turned me on to Neptune's one of their shops was 8 blocks from where I grew up...it was at N.W. 63rd & May Ave. it was where 1/2 Price Books is now! I am so glad that there still is one Neptune's left on N. Classen Blvd around 32-33 st Go check it out!

Me and my brother went and ecah got half subs, drinks, and chips for only $13.75. They were the freshest subs we had ever eaten and the bread was the best. They didnt over sause the subs and the drinks were just right. The whole meal was very filling. We are definitely coming back.

Good sandwiches , locally owned and operated. The building has a bit of history and is unique. The dining area us small so their main business seems to be take out and drive through. If you want dessert, they have cookies, but the main attraction is an interesting variety of subs.

I have driven by this place for almost 9 years and never ate there until today. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG? Was not a fan of the price but the bread was fresh, the greens were fresh and the taste was 5 stars. It was the perfect mix of lettuce and meat. (I had the chicken fajitas sandwich). They charge .25 for refill which angered me some since I don't carry change. 5 star for food minus 1 for price.

Try the peanut butter cookies. Neptune's has great service, great prices, and a great staff. I went to lunch here a few times a week for 7+ years, I never received the wrong order, and the bread was always the same great quality, every time. If you love sandwiches, this is a great place to eat.

This is one of the best submarine sandwich places in town. They make their bread fresh and it's very soft. Lots of other great food items on the menu as well. A great Frito chili pie! I highly recommend it to anyone else who wants a great sandwich

A long time local favorite. I remember when this was a vacant building and then one day the open sign was on. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a sandwich shop that I would visit often. It was kept mostly original and the sandwiches and soup, though maybe different, have earned their place among the best. Bread is light, fluffy, and has a kind of homemade yeast bread taste. There are lots to choose from. My favorites being the old Italian, chicken fajita, and the meatball. They won't disappoint.

Hands down one of my secret lunch spots in the city, they are only open til 2pm. The sandwiches are good size and simple, but the flavor is amazing. Also it’s been open for xx years, and is part of the historical society honors.

If you want a classic sandwich fast at a price cheaper than Panera or Jimmy John's, this is your place! Love that they have a drive through. I typically ask for whatever the daily special is. Comes with a drink and chips for around $6 total. The sandwiches are tasty but you might ask for light mayo because they love to put a lot on there! This isn't the best sandwich I've ever had but they are quick, reliable, and affordable. Inside is very quaint, small seating quarters. Gives you a small diner or cafeteria vibe. I will say the potato salad is delicious!

Best value sandwiches in the entire metro! I stop and grab a quick sub at least once a week from here through the drive-through. I've never waited more than like 2 or 3 minutes for my meal. Everything is always fresh, and doesn't have that taste like the chain places like your ingredients have been frozen, thawed, and sat out all day. Fresh ingredients and friendly, happy workers make the experience nice. For the price and the amount/quality of food you get, makes this a best-deal in the metro as far as I'm concerned.

Nepturne's has been around FOREVER! I love the bread, it's MUCH better then the "other chain " sub" shop in town. And the meat and veggies are extremely fresh! In another review, someone mentioned wishing there was more meat, and I usually agree, but I think the meat is the perfect amount on this sandwich. You could always double the meat if you need more on yours, they're very accommodating. I could eat this every day, and sometimes do eat it multiple times in a row, but I would recommend this shop to everyone. They even have a veggie option if you don't eat meat! Keep up the good work and maybe add more hours, like stay open on Sundays, stay up later at night. I need more opportunity to have your delicious sandwiches!!

Love this place. Everything so fresh ea time I go. They customize my picky sisters orders no problem. Quick, friendly & can't beat the price for the amazing quantity of food. 1/2 sandwich is plenty & they have a monthly (weekly?) special. The homemade potatoe salad is spot-on; hint of mustard but mayo mainly. Only complaint: I wish they were open later in evenings & Sat.

I have been eating at Neptune’s for many years about 20 my wife went today and order her self a sandwich me an old Italian and two corn dogs. The corn dogs were soggy. Yuck. The old Italian is mediocre at best. Called because it didn’t have mayo. The mayo is what kept me going to Neptune’s. When I called about it the gent knew the order. And informed me that that is the only sandwich with out mayo. Obviously I wasn’t please. But no offer to make me happy. I didn’t even mention the corn dogs at that point. What happened to keeping customers happy. I’ll never be back. Not worth the time or money if they can satisfy a customer. Or cook a corn dog correctly.
