Awesome atmosphere, great food, friendly staff.
DELICIOUS desserts friendly staff just overall a cozy nice cafe
Great coffee, food, and customer service. Breakfast items are awesome! The lunch menu is really good, as well. The environment is great for 2-6 people. The environment is also really good for remote workers that want the cafe with WiFi experience.
Great boxcar combo with salsa
Good food, good drink, good service, and all at a good price. We'll return!
Fantastic cafe! The atmosphere is great, and the food is really good!
A great place to have coffee and meet people in the morning, have a sandwich and soup for lunch and also a great place to meet for a beer after work. They also cater.
Very clean. Lovely wait staffs.
Kamp's has been very accommodating to myself and some fellow co-workers. It is hard for night shift to be able to wind down with a drink after work because no one serves alcohol at 8 am!! The managers at Kamp's looked up the laws for us and determined they are very happy to help us wind down at 8 am much like they would help people who work day shift wind down after their long day!! We greatly appreciated them and their flexibility! Prices and food aren't bad either!
This is an OKC lunch break go-to. Great food. Parking is usually a headache so get there early. It's a bit lout inside as there's nothing to dampen the sounds, but the food it great!
Worst bar service ever my friend and I have been going there for around 8 years and enough is enough when you have to wait 15 min for the bartender to acknowledge you and there is only 2 other people in the bar I will never be coming back at least until I know there is a intelligent bartender that understand service
Great sandwich options you won't find anywhere else. They also have great coffee and sweet goodies.
Had breakfast here for the first time and it was great! Got the biscuits and gravy derailed. It was a pretty large portion and tasted great!
Love this place. Large space with character. Tasty food with funny friendly staff. Free coffee re-fills (be still my heart) and awesome coffee card deal (buy 5 coffees, get the 6th free....what!). Bar space is large and welcoming. I have come here for a long time so I might be biased....but who cares. Also the steam milk for my coffee. Heart of gold, I am telling you.
Very nice place to have a noon time lunch. Atmosphere is wonderful, service was good, good was good. But the sandwiches are too expensive. This limits the number of times I will visit Kamps. Great place other than the cost of a sandwitch.
Great happy hour draft beer prices
This locally owned establishment is a popular spot for public Internet access, 2-4 person business meetings and a light lunch. Great selection of coffees, teas, and in the evenings, wine.
First time here 6pm on a Tuesday eve, waited over an hour for food! Terrible service! Won’t be back!
Great food great place
Our server Shellbe was excellent. She is so sharp and friendly.
Basic coffee, free refills; decent breakfast. Great ambiance and spacious room to visit and hang out.
Great food. I ordered "Stuck at the Train".
Coffee good, what little you get of it. Was just in and the Cafe Mocha was delicious, but I ordered a grande which is advertised as 20oz. I took it to go. After I drove about 20 miles north, I opened it to sip some and was quite surprise it was only a little more than half full. I feel a little ripped off.
Love the food and the staff is great.
It is the best bc they always get ur order right and sometimes u don't pay that much
This was my first visit and I came here because I was having a business meeting. They do have free parking. It was busy however I was addressed and asked if I needed assistance when I first walked in. After the meeting, I ordered a chia latte and it was pretty delicious. I'm probably going to come back to try the food.
Had the Klub Wrap. It was delicious and huge. Didn't even need my chips and have to wait for my dessert. Great staff. Very friendly helpful. Great recommendations. Loved the atmosphere. Definitely want to go back.
Basic coffee, free refills; decent breakfast. Great ambiance and spacious room to visit and hang out.
I've only been for breakfast as the service is so slow that I'm afraid to go for lunch. I've got no complaints about the food as the Box Car burrito and Rise and Shine sandwich are both pretty good. However, it has taken them 20 minutes to get me my order before which is just entirely too long. I'm not a coffee drinker but have seen other people have issues with the coffee dispensers being empty on a regular basis. Overall it's got potential but they need to work on a couple of the major issues that I and others have pointed out.
Nice atmosphere. Needs more parking spaces for customers.
Cute spot! Well priced.
Great food and atmosphere
Great place for good food. Friendly staff and service
Great lunch. I like the ordering and delivery process.
The salads are a great choice! Speakeasy club is awesome!
Great tea and coffee. The service was quick too and it was busy. I definitely recommend Kamps. It’s one of my favorites.
Great food, Great Happy Hour, Great Staff!
Okay coffee. Plenty of place to meet people
This place is wonderful if you have an hour to wait on your salad to go.
Great food, great price, outstanding service. Great atmosphere to actually be able to talk and hear each other. And best of all you are not assaulted with TV screens EVERYWHERE. Classy Classy Classy
I love Kamp's! They have amazing Chai Tea Lattes.
Excellent food, great layout, great atmosphere.
Awesome place to take the family and food was great as well. Music was great and staff was very polite and wonderful..Will definitely be back with friends..
Great place for a morning or lunch meeting. Lots of room and even some quiet places to meet. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Tasty sandwich, good coffee and very friendly counter service. Good, but not inexpensive.
The 89er latte was luke warm at best. The bagels are not pre-sliced. There are to many options to recommend this place.
Love to read here on Wednesday mornings before I go to work.
Love going here for their happy hour! They recently upped their prices to $2.17 (with tax) for a draft beer, but it's still a pretty good deal. They have domestics on tap, which include Dos Equis, Budlight, Goose Island, Shiner Bock, and Shock Top. Happy hour is 3PM-8PM everyday they're open and there are some food specials along with it. Studying wise, it can get pretty loud so I wouldn't suggest trying to study here. Despite the bottomless coffee, outlets are also sparse. Staff are very nice and the food is good! My favorite drink by far is their fruit cup smoothie and with their punch card, every 10 specialty drinks, you get one free.
Great coffee and breakfast.
Very long wait time. I am a delivery service and I had to wait almost an hour for an order that was supposed to be ready when I arrived. I witnessed another customer waiting for to go order as well that said he has to wait 45 minutes each time he comes regardless how busy it is. Not sure how good it tastes but seems a bit chaotic for the prices.
My up date. I have returned multple times in the past 6 months as I enjoyed the sandwich selection. A truly enjoyable experience. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They also have meeting rooms upstairs which I have used several times. I like having meetings where I can also grab a nine bite. I will continue to be happy to visit again and enjoy a sandwich, Sweet Roll and a soft drink just to experience the pleasure of the helpful and friendly staff.
Great atmosphere and a wonderful staff. Also has the best burrito called The Boxcar burrito highly recommend it.
Great food, service, & prices! Coffee was some kind of good stuff, too!
Great atmosphere, amazing service!
I had a fresh catch salad. It has the best salmon in it.
Not a very inviting place. The pros are that there is space to study and spread out and the prices are cheap. The cons are that the espresso drinks are terrible. I went on a Monday evening and even though I was one of maybe five guests, I struggled to get decent service. I got a snickerdoodle latte which was definitely drinkable but sweet (I expected it and knew I was ordering a sugary drink). It lacked any real coffee flavor and their espresso setup is a joke. I'm pretty sure I've made better espresso at home with a $25 machine I bought at a garage sale. Their setup reminded me of the coffee vending machines you find in hospital waiting rooms. Maybe everything else there is phenomenal...but I'm not making them a go to for coffee.
Love this place. The people who work here are so nice. They make me feel welcome every time. It didn't take long for them to remember me (I'm just a regular dude, so I know they must do this for many folks!) which makes for a pleasant stay. It's a great place to study and have a nice breakfast and/or lunch. And the coffee is great (House blend is the best). I hate reading the negative reviews on here as there must have been some extenuating circumstance that resulted in their bad experience. I highly recommend this spot.
Very nice place. I had the Reuben sandwich and it was very good. We're had a group of about a dozen. Plenty of space in the evening. Nice atmosphere. Glad we chose to meet there.
Nice place to sit, have coffee and carry on a conversation with friends.
I love the breakfast and coffee! Great menu as well. I usually get a fresh catch salad with salmon.
Food always good, service always terrible. I always have to go request my food after waiting 40 minutes. Today the manager brought me a 5 dollars off coupon after getting my food 50 minutes after the time stamped receipt. Not going back. I'm a fool for having done so.
Food was decent. All breakfast foods are less than $6.
The most significant quality on taste presentation and quantity I eat here for a low key element of environmental peace within myself I'm going to have to invite my husband here soon
HOBO PIE. HOBO PIE. HOBO PIE. Call early because they run out every day. Oh man it's good.
TL;DR: We’ve had lots of good experiences and yummy breakfasts here in the past, but tonight was a bad experience. Me and my sister wanted to hit up Kamps for an after-dinner treat, and decided to use the drive through. It was kinda obvious that that area doesn’t get much attention, so after a few minutes we just went inside. We didn’t wait too long, so this on its own isn’t a huge deal. It took a minute to get rung up, even though there was no line and there were folks in the kitchen joking around (which, fine, they all seemed to be line cooks, but still). We ordered a vanilla latte, a caramel macchiato, and a vanilla cupcake, then took a seat. Quick tangent: while waiting for our drinks, I noticed another customer who seemed to be waiting impatiently for their order. They went to the bar to talk to the cashier about their forgotten food and they got it a few minutes later. While this doesn’t affect our direct experience, I still think that it gives color to the general atmosphere of Kamps on this day/time. Our cupcake was super dry, though once we got past the outer rim of the cupcake it was okay. I think the worst thing was the drinks, I was served a (very dry) cappuccino while my sister’s latte didn’t have much vanilla in it. I thought about asking them to redo my drink, because I really had my heart set on a macchiato when I came in, but I honestly didn’t have any confidence in their barista/cashier at this point. Lastly, before we left, my sister noticed that the barista/cashier was making themselves some sort of drink (or at least, we hope they were making it for themselves because they were drinking it
Nothing I've had is bad here... the pasta salad is amazing.
Such a great little cafe! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and there is tons of table/or bar space. Great place to have a meeting or date. :)
I really like the new location in OKC! The Service, Food, Drinks, and Jesse Alan Horn singing an playing acoustic guitar was incredible! Great Experience for everyone !
There are some unique coffee options here, and the breakfast foods are very good.
Cheap breakfasts, salads, and drinks. Everything is made fresh, great coffee/espresso. Service extremely slow, but it's worth the wait and you can always call ahead.
Great breakfast. Good coffee. Excellent happy hour beer specials. WiFi is hit or miss, which is annoying, and so 4/5 stars.
My friend and I stopped to grab a coke and a snack we loved the decor. The location was very convenient for us.
The food was good but I waited 20 minutes for a take out sandwich. They need more help in the kitchen.
Nice, big open atmosphere. Perfect for large groups, but small groups can also find little niches. Good coffee. Cookies weren't very soft but that's personal taste
This place is just the best! Friendly family owned. Lots of businessmen eating lunch...so great place to meet people.....lol food is GREAT!! Muffins are....meh
Well, I had the Caesar Salmon Salad. The salmon was okay, not fishy, pretty good. The salad was not Caesar! My mistake though, I ordered it assuming it was a traditional Caesar salad. However, it was romaine and mixed green, red onion, black olive, grape tomato, parmasian and Caesar dressing. That's not a Caesar salad. I think they should rename this salad, and make a real Caesar salad.
Great food and coffee!
Great place to meet with friends
Spectacular as always Staff always go the extra mile!
Perfect place for lunch! Great sandwiches and prompt service.
Amazing staff and food especially their smoothies and cupcakes.
I've driven by Kamp's many times and always told myself that I needed to go there sometime. Yesterday I finally did and it was well worth it! I went for a late afternoon lunch on a Saturday. There weren't very many people there so I was able to truly appreciate every detail of the café without being distracted by too many conversations going on around me. I ordered the Mamma Mia Club sandwich with potato salad as my side. Both were absolutely delicious. The potato salad reminded me of my family's recipe and home. The sourdough baguette was a great bread for my sandwich because you got the best of both types of bread. The density of a baguette as well as the taste of a good sourdough. The staff were very attentive and friendly. When I placed my order the manager/owner commented that it was a good choice or something like that and it made me smile because it's always nice to hear something like that when you're ordering at a new place. Positive vibes make for a happy place. Before I left I got a thunder latte with almond milk and it was delicious. Their coffee is clearly of high quality. I can't wait to come back again soon!o
Great coffee but try the chicken salad! ! Took a pint home.
If you're looking for a good place to get a semi cheap breakfast this is the place, I get a muffin, burrito and coffee all for less than $10. The lunch sandwiches are also great but I come for the breakfast. They also have a great selection of bakery item and desserts.
I was not in the best mode that night but this was my 3rd place to sit down to try to eat. I ordered the Italian wrap. It was good with the exception of to much vinaigrette. Service was pleasant and attentive to her guests despite only having 1 person in the back working for the size of the area and the count of people back there. On a definite positive note, it is nice and quiet. I think I will have to go back and try something else. Again these are just my own opinions and feel free to try for yourself.
The staff is wonderful. The cafe is clean, and the beer is cold.
The food is always really good, and so is the service. The workers are really nice, and do their best to create a good atmosphere. The service can sometimes be slow, but that is typically only during busy hours of the day. Would recommend to anyone.
Inconsistent priced food. Dirty bathrooms. Place looks cool inside
Great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Great menu, coffee choices, and massive desserts. Usually crowded so get in early if going for lunch. They have a drive thru, but service feels slower through it.
Good prices. Passably food. In short you get what you pay for. What really stands out here is the poor management and staff. Lots of unbussed tables even though the restaurant is not busy and plenty of staff looking on. Lost our order. Patio outside dirty and clearly not cleaned for awhile. Would not come back.
Best location for tourist to grab something to eat.Great place to eat with friends. Friendly staffs.
Good prices, food, and coffee!
Easy access off highway. Good parking. Lots of seating. Good selection of food.
Pretty good spot, I regularly hit for breakfast. Very reasonable prices and good baked goods.
The last two times I have had their food it has been completely underwhelming to gross. The bread was a little stale and the sandwiches completely fell apart. It’s ok, but would rather go somewhere else.
Great place to get coffee or grab lunch near downtown. Plenty of seats.
The staff is always accommodating, friendly, and the food is always very good!
Average sandwich. Expensive not enough meat in the Ruben. Slow service for a dang sandwich made out of store bought ingredients. Philly cheese was small. Not coming back
Very nice place! Love it
Fast and delightful. Because bigger portions would have been nice but I couldn’t eat all I was served.
Great food with a large menu, serving from breakfast to dinner. A little bit of everything on the menu.
Great breakfast sandwiches and lunch wraps. The coffee is hit or miss depending on the barista, and don't go there if you're in a rush. It normally takes 25min to have your order of a coffee and a simple breakfast sandwich get to you. Worth the wait though!
Everything I have ever gotten here is very good. Their salads are very fresh and tasty.
Every time I’m in Oklahoma City, I check to see if Kamp’s 1910 Cafe is open. They have a fantastic selection of pastries and their breakfast foods are amazing. They have a broad coffee selection and I have not been disappointed. It is conveniently located near an interstate which makes stopping hear even easier. If you are looking for amazing coffee and delicious food then you should stop by Kamp’s!
Good lunch place with a bakery that will ruin your diet.
BLT was really good. I will go back.
The place is great. However, I was a bit disappointed with the food. We ordered the special of the day, the Chicken Tacos. The taste was very good, but the tacos were cold. Both my friend and I ordered the same thing, and both orders were cold. Pastries are a bit overpriced. I bought a triple chocolate muffin, but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Staff was super friendly.
Love it here! There's always great WiFi and their after work happy hour is super great!
Hobo pie, deserts, and plenty of room make this place a must stop.
Always clean and the staff u.s great too.
There breakfast food is GREAT! Five star food (when its not cold), one star quality of staff and management. They are awful when it comes to their drive through. SERIOUSLY AWFUL. On MULTIPLE occasions I have waited for upwards to 15 minutes on food that I CALLED IN, with out any kind of acknowledgment. MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, i have had to drive up to their window and knock before being acknowledged, despite the fact my food was ready and now cold. :(
This place is so unique in several ways. First, it is off the alley, not the street. Second, it is actually owned by the people who own the attached bike shop in front and the other half of the bike shop...on the opposite side of the street.
The service was friendly and professional, our food was excellent. Would recommend Kamp's.
Food is perfectly fine (the Pacific Railcar is the best thing on the menu) but the coffee is great! Not an overly comfortable space but it’s a great choice for quick lunch in the area
Restaurant is good, food is good, but service is lacking. Sometimes orders don't get made right and then spend half of my dining experience to correct the mistake. By the time my food is corrected I'm no longer hungry. Let's get that fixed so I have a reason to keep coming.
Atmosphere is old time saloon. This place is 1/2 restaurant / bakery and 1/2 bar. I prefer the bar side and bar food. Best happy hour in OKC!
Works as a really great study spot. They have good coffee options as well as great lunch options.
Very delicious food and I was so excited to find a very good chicken pot pie for lunch! Their coffee is always on point, especially the cold coffee. They grind their own and you can even buy coffee grounds to go. Great meeting space to meet with friends or clients.
Awesome prices, great food and drinks, and classy, comfortable atmosphere! I would definitely recommend it. I wish I could have taken my mom here when she was alive, she would have loved it...
This holidays season I decided to get me a caffe lattie with heavy cream on this beautiful Saturday. I was told no by the Manger Becky & she had the nerves to ask me what's my CHOLESTEROL because heavy cream is bad for your heart. I'm a consumer spending my hard earned money & don't want to feel like I'm working when I'm spending my earnings. I HAD GREAT EXPERIENCES HERE IN THE PAST AT KAMP'S JUST NOT TODAY 12/22/18.
I only ever get the Mama Mia. I love it, but it's a bit small. Take that opinion as far as you can.
I like the atmosphere. Good selection of coffees and lattes. Awesome sweet baked goods.
Too loud
Cool place. Got a cookie and it was hard so the manager made me some new ones and gave me them for free.
Nice service
Great for coffee, lunch or breakfast with clients. Parking is sometimes an issue.
Their frappes are hands down the best
Our favorite lunch date...try the Italian wrap.
Good food. Very tasty. Took a little longer than expected but would return.
Great Food! I highly recommend this place- they have specialty coffees and some good breakfast options and their lunches are so good. I’m a fan of the smokestack Cuban.
A great place for a quality breakfast at a reasonable price!
Great food great service quick and easy
Every time we have been to Kamp's, the staff has been extremely rude. This is the 4th and last time, we walked up and the lady at the cash register just stared at us. No hello, no greeting of any kind. After ordering there was no thank you or any kind of personality. I don't expect a parade when I walk in, but the least you could do is say "Hi, welcome to Kamp's". The other three times people have just been rude and act as if you are bothering them to get their attention, while we stand at an empty register, waiting for them to respond as I waste my lunch hour. I know that doesn't sound like much, but the least you can do is say hello instead of greeting me with a blank stare. We complained to the manager and her response was "well she's efficient and I just don't know how to teach people those things". You can't teach someone to say "hello" to a customer?? I'm pretty sure it's not that hard and it just sounds like laziness, starting at the top. They really just don't care about customers and they've shown this numerous times. The food is mediocre and pricey, I can't see them staying in business very long with a consistently rude staff. I figured I'd go ahead and write a review, which just echoes what everyone else seems to say about Kamp's. We won't be returning, maybe they should check their reviews and do something about it.
My family and I go to Kamp's at least once a week. The menu is affordable and the sandwiches & salads are terrific! And they've always got a yummy array of fresh cookies & cupcakes. The staff always makes us feel like family. This is a great little downtown joint!
Awesome environment, great service, great food and drinks!!!
Coffee was meh.
The coffee and food is good. The wifi sucks. Perhaps that is on purpose to make the place feel more like 1910.
I attended a networking meeting on the second floor today. Great meeting place.
Good food. Good service. Gluten free options.
Great food. Great staff. Central location.
I had the buiscuts and gravy with the eggs, and peppers. Was much better than I had imagined! The coffee supply was a little low, and never refilled the pumps.
We stopped in after visiting the History Center around midafternoon. Service was excellent and the coffee was perfect for the midday boost we needed. I had the fudge-bomb latte with extra shot of espresso, so tasty! They have an extensive menu with pastries, sandwiches, and more. The seating areas are very accommodating for singles or groups. Lots of windows to enjoy the artsy signage and buildings in the area. Will return soon and bring friends!
ok food and service. i may have caught them on a off day since i have heard good things about it. the muffins were average, and the coffee was not very hot. there was some confusion on our muffin order- left in microwave and had to be reheated which may have attributed to not being moist. the parking is limited and tight. the restroom was clean and easy to find. Plenty of seating and a nice menu selection.
Really good home style comfort food, with a very attentive wait staff, and love the warm open coziness of the dining rooms.
Very cool place but the music was too loud
BBQ Sandwich had more gristle than meat, pineapple in fruit salad was bad. Banana bread was dry...Go somewhere else, very expensive and not tasty..
Great food and great service! I've never been disappointed. The catering is great too.
I'm so addicted to Kamp's!
