Liz and the staff were professional and on target. Servers pleasant, and everything perfect! I actually enjoyed both nights without a thought! Our guests and can not stop talking about how good the food was! They prepared on site! It was great and they did everything we asked for! We wanted to grill out for our rehearsal dinner steaks and ma-hi it was perfect! We had a seafood bar on a ice sculpture for the crab legs, oysters, shrimp and clams that was amazing for cocktail hour! The BBQ martini glasses for a app was to die for! Fruit and cheese spread amazing!! Buffet with carving station and fresh veggies perfect! Plated Strawberry salad unbelievable! The quality of the food was amazing and the quantity was perfect too! if you want perfection and the wedding reception of your dreams call them!

Solid food and delicious menu; definitely going back. Tuna salad was perfect balance of sweet, tart, salty, and savory, fish was pretty fresh; no complaints at all and I’ve a particular palate. Wait staff was light hearted, sweet, and efficiently and delightfully accommodating. Ambience makes it clear near the beach and I love that. They close at 3pm today so I’m getting a to go order for dinner. Yep. I highly recommend giving them a try. Sitting waiting on a to go order, ambience kicked my 4 rating to a 5. This just became my potential new favorite place.

Liz, Danielle and the whole team at A Thyme Savor Catering were amazing to work with! I am terrible at making decisions and planning but they were patient with me the whole time and helped my vision come to life. Liz and Danielle were available anytime I needed them and were very helpful at keeping me on track with what else I needed to do. Our cocktail hour was outdoors in August so I was worried about the food but they helped me not only choose what would be best for the weather but also told me what things they would not recommend due to the heat. For appetizers we did the chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits and mini fish tacos but skipped the cheese and cracker tray I had original picked out (thank goodness) due to the heat. Appetizers were amazing and the chicken & waffles are such a fun item that not many people have. I also love that the shrimp and grits are served in a martini glass! For salad we had the strawberry salad which comes with pecans. My husband is allergic to nuts so they made sure to make him a special salad and were also very accommodating with everyone else at our party who had allergies. For the main course we did the dinner buffet with a carving station. I was originally worried that a buffet would make the wedding seem not as nice but the catering team made everything gorgeous and it was the perfect set up for our wedding. The biggest compliment I have received about our wedding has been the food and no one left hungry. We even got to take home leftovers! We also had A Thyme Savor tend bar for us and all the bartenders were extremely friendly and kept my guests laughing and entertained the entire time. I have already told my husband on our first wedding anniversary we are ordering all our food from A Thyme Savor to celebrate.

Order special 2 pork chops with 2 sides. Got one pork chop, the waitress asked they told her the one equals the size of two. COST was way to expensive for what you get. BEWARE!!!!!!

Keepsake Memories

Their food was excellent. We recently worked with them at a wedding in Wilmington and were instantly reminded of why they're one of our favorite catering companies to work with. Their food was really was a hit with the vendors & wedding guests. A few of our favorites from them are: shrimp & grits in a glass, crab cakes, seared tuna, grilled fish, and their pot roast. Oh we can't forget their tasty strawberry salad as well!! Highly recommended.

As a caterer myself it was very important to choose the right caterer for the dinner celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary with my family on vacation in Ocean Isle. Being in Massachusetts I was unable to personally vet any of the caterers. I chose Thyme Savor Catering based on their menus. It turned out to be a very good decision. As you can imagine I'm kind of picky when it comes to food and food service. They were a pleasure to work with and very flexible. They allowed me to tweak their menu to best fit what I was looking for for the evening. The food was fresh, scratch made (I could tell when I tasted the crab bisque) and fantastic. The waitstaff was pleasant and easy going. They made our night very special and particularly yummy. My cousin is still raving over the roasted oysters with garlic butter! I highly recommend Thyme Savor Catering.

If you have ever wanted to find a small neighborhood restaurant that you want to go back to time and time again then this is the place. There are at least a dozen things on the menu that I want to try, and everything that my table ordered got rave reviews. The staff was very accommodating and my two young boys even cleaned their plates.

FLY!!! Wife and I are regulars. Always order the same thing. Today we were eating and I picked up my country ham only to see a fly cooked under it. Called the manager over to show him. We weren't half way into our meal when this happened. His comment was sorry I will comp that side. Needless to say we left then and without paying anything. There is a fly problem in their eating area, but I guess there is one in the kitchen also. Good food, except you have to watch what you eat.

A Thyme Savor Catering came highly recommended when we started searching for a caterer for our wedding. I cannot say enough about how personable Danielle and her staff have been thus far. The tasting we had was absolutely divine! Her willingness to create a menu to please both myself and my fiance has been incredible. She made the planning completely stress free on my end as a bride. Came here for breakfast, the place had maybe 3-4 other customers and it still took staff at least five minutes to acknowledge us awkwardly standing and invite us to sit anywhere in the deserted restaurant (sign says please wait to be seated). We ordered a standard breakfast of American staples and nearly every component was bizarrely horrible. The home fries were inexplicably spicy, and I like spicy but they were unpleasantly so. The sausage (which I asked for very well-done to burned) I confused for a hamburger both in flavor and looks... and it was pink in the middle, and probably the only sausage I have ever left on my plate. Just bad. Left 90% of the meal untouched and the server did not care to ask why. Paid for the meal and went on our way but won't be back. Overpriced and just plain gross. Eggs were okay.

Everything from coming in to try various items on the menu to the service for our wedding day was a great experience. Thyme Savor made things very easy for us and our wedding guests raved about the amazing food they prepared. I would totally recommend Thyme Savor for a wedding reception or private party.

Thyme Savor was an absolute dream to work with when planning our wedding last month. Not only was Liz extremely professional but she was also quick to respond to any question or concern I had. I cannot imagine ever working with another catering company, Thyme sure did spoil us... the food was out of this world and even the catering staff treated everyone special. I'm still constantly hearing from friends and family how they have never enjoyed the food at a wedding as much as they did at ours, and we owe that to the Thyme Savor team. They are such a great mix fresh food with southern hospitality!

We used Thyme Savor for our Wedding. The owners and staff are very polite and their food is excellent, nonetheless our whole experience was mediocre because of poor communication and management. We had to initiate all communication and never felt confident in the event planning. The poorest experience was the Wedding Cake being served on paper napkins.., needless to say plates were pre-discussed at planning. In spite of everything Wedding was an awesome celebration.

A Thyms Savor catered my daughter's outdoor wedding on June 9th and they were so fantastic to work with. I should have written this review a long time ago - so my apologies. The food was spectacular and many of our guests asked for the caterers name and info! They did everything we asked plus more. SUGGESTION: Listen to their recommendations. They know the business and I actually would have saved a few dollars had I listened to them on one item. I would use them again and again and again. THANK YOU THYME SAVOR FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!

A month later and the guest are still raving! A Thyme Savor was willing to work with our small wedding when most other caterers wouldn't. They were also willing to work within our budget and menu constraints (think of the difficulty of a large group of vegetarian guests and a groom that doesn't eat vegetables) while still giving everyone food they loved. My sis-in-law won't eat any other beef barbecue now! The server--for which that title doesn't do him justice--the day of was spectacular! The guest loved him and he went above and beyond what we would have expected. All around, if we need catering for anything else, we're going with A Thyme Savor!

Danielle, Jeff and the whole crew at A Thyme Savor made my wedding day magical. The food was described by guests as amazing, scrumptious, and totally delicious. The service was superb. Everyone had a role and filled it to perfection. They interacted with guests and made sure not just the bride and groom were satisfied but also everyone who attended. I was stunned by their professionalism, knowledge of what people wanted and fore-thought to have everything in place for every request! Nothing will ruin a wedding quicker than poor food and if you hire Danielle and crew your event will be an astounding success. But catering doesn't stop at the food; the crew cleaned and made sure everything was left as it was before they arrived, in fact it was cleaner! I don't know if I will ever find another caterer who can reach the bar they have set. What a wonderful experience! Thank you so much!

Liz from thyme savor was easy to work with! We catered a work luncheon for 75 people. The delivery arrived early, set up was quick and professional! The food was amazing and everyone raved about the banana pudding and mashed potatoes! Would highly recommend this company!

A death in the family prompted a call to A Thyme Savor to cater a Celebration of Life for 75 people. I spoke with Liz (Catering Manager) on a Thursday morning to see if they could cater an event two days later on Saturday afternoon. She assured me they could work the job in and do a great job. The wait staff showed up promptly at 2 on Saturday (as requested) and created a tasty and beautiful spread! The food was outstanding! ( That's a huge compliment from me because I'm a foodie and a great cook.) To mention a few favorites: the shrimp and grits served in a small martini glass was delicious and a huge hit; the mini crabcakes served on lemon slices were devoured; the beef filet on parmesan crostini had folks wanting the recipe; the chicken and asiago sliders got raves and the assorted crudite, marinated veggies and charcuterie board were beautifully presented. Equally impressive were the super friendly wait staff! They were either serving food with a smile, picking up used plates and barware with a smile, or maintaining the kitchen. I do not live in Wilmington and made the decision to use A Thyme Savor based on reviews I read and their website's information. I highly recommend this caterer for great food and great service!

Look no further! A Thyme Savor Catering is the absolute best! The staff service and was professional and timely. The pretasting event for the rehearsal dinner and wedding dinner was an amazing display of gorgeous delicious food selections to choose from. Danielle also provided much needed wedding catering advice and resorces for outstanding wedding planners and relevant wedding services. Last but not least, the FOOD! Thyme Savor came recommended from the venue I’d chosen for my event, and the results were just fine. This is probably one of those instances where “good” is good as opposed to fantastic and that’s the reason for the four stars instead of five. Service and communications were good. Selections were good. Food was good. No issues at all and would likely use them again. Just missing that “awesome” factor is all. Hopefully four stars isn’t perceived as a negative, as that’s not the intention.

Opened several weeks ago, but needs to work out the service kinks. We were seated and left for quite a while before anyone approached us. The place was not busy and it's small. Obviously needs a manager to watch what everyone is doing. Food was good when it arrived. Overall environment and food tries to be cute. The egg's bennidict are referred to as "Bennie's". Willing to give it a another try.

We went there for a quick lunch. They have big shoes to fill as Bon Appetit was a great restaurant. It was 2:00 there were 3 tables in the restaurant all of them were 2 toppers and I counted 6 or 7 waitresses. While we were there the woman who appeared to be the manager took a phone call from someone who was angry and started yelling at them, it was amusing. The food was ok not outstanding. The service was excellent. Hope that they work out the kinks.

Thyme Savor catered our wedding last month and did a spectacular job. We went in thinking we knew what we wanted but after tasting so much delicious food we decided to go a direction that gave our guest more options instead of just one dish. They were very accommodating and really made the wedding a dream come true. They went above and beyond by having to go plates ready for us since no one eats at their own wedding. They even filled glasses for toasts and primped our wedding cake when it didn't come completely as ordered. Not to mention the food is incredible. Definitely not a cliche wedding food vendor that delivers cold and kinda edible food. 10/10 recommend.

They went above and beyond with everything from the delicious food to the serving trays matching our decor. Truly picture perfect. On top of that all of that our guests raved about the food and the cocktail pairings, definitely a must have!
