Here you will see the feddbacks of people who know the products of Rosella\'s Pizzeria (Catering) in the area close to New York.
To this day this business gets a score of 4.3 out of 5 and this rating was based on 430 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is really high, and it is founded on a very large number of scores, so we can think that the valuation is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to give their feddback when they are satisfied with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to write feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Catering is classified in the category of Pizza restaurant.
One of my favorite pizzerias. Their meat lovers slice is the best!
I love this place. They have one of the best pizzas and those are pretty much popular on that area specially for people like us who wants to have a good lunch in office. Everyday they have some special menu for like $8 or $9 that includes a drink and bread with a main dish like penne alla vodka or baked ziti. The interior is clean and have space to seat for a decent number of people. They also take order via phone or online and deliver.
Extraordinary customer service, tasty pizzas I definitely recommend this place
Loved the pizza and garlic knots Thank God
Amazing personal!
Great place! The staff is friendly and the pizza is cheap and tasty! Just sad that we got paper plates.
Awesome place to visit when you are in NY.....
Nice spot to eat on a quiet street close to City Hall.
Their food is good and the great thing is that they accept Flex dollars from Pace.
Really nice pizza place. Customer service was attentive, and made order quickly. Would recommend to others. Kid Friendly!
Hands down the best pizza I’ve had in NY. Love the location and the fact that they take my school card is even more amazing. If there’s a long line just wait because it’s definitely worth it.
My favorite pizzeria in Lower Manhattan. Great for a quick bite or informal sit down. Delicious, authentically prepared pasta dishes. They are great for catering too.
Really kind staff and yummy pizzaaaa!
This is the best pizza in nyc. Please don't argue
The people behind the counter are mean and the one guy laughed and didn't give me the correct slice of pizza and proceeded to laugh as the counter girl can't speak English. never again!!! hope the manager "Fabio" reads this. will go to where people treat me like a HUMAN BEING. would never give these people business ever again.
The pizza is good... but it can get extra crowded and sometimes had no seats.
Decent pizza and their cherry soda is pretty good. They also have good garlic knots
I was craving something flavorful for lunch but the Indian place I wanted to go to was closed. I didn't bring my phone with me because I was picking up a quick lunch so I couldn't find the Thai place which was my second choice. Big Pizza sign. NYC pizza is always great, what could go wrong? $5 for the eggplant slice. Ouch. The crust was a bit thick and spongy. Slice was heated but still cold. I was starving, so I ate it. Halfway through the slice I was starting to accept that I didn't like it. The crust reminded me of sweet Elios. The sauce was sweet. I finished it feeling sad, still hungry, and feeling like an ass for not just going back into the office, getting my phone, and finding the That thai place ($8 lunch special), or at least a place with better reviews. Maybe tourists eat here? I'm still hungry.
Cheap and Amazinggg Pizza!!
Food is very good their pizzas are amazing
Good food and relatively ample seating
Fantastic Pizza!!!! Better than anything from Maryland
Good pizza at a fair price. Nothing spectacular
This pizza is just okay and overpriced. It’s so flavorless but we eat it because we paid for it. Don’t come here
Best pizza downtown period! I have never seen thin pizza crust that was crispy and soft at the same time. Crust held the weight of the plentiful cheese on top without getting soggy or breaking. Sweet sauce under cheese. Crowded place with long line!
Great little place for a slice or two!
First visit to the wharf, decided to try this pizza. They are all 6 cuts with a thin crust and fresh, local ingredients. I paid about $18 for a bianca with one topping. Nice outside seating area. Beer selection is limited, but of course there are many other places to drink nearby.
Pizza ok, but don't quite explain the price.
The pizza was amazing!! TO DIE FOR!! But over the phone was horrible service! Not the ordering, but I gave them my credit card number over the phone and some worker wrote it down and used it! Had to cancel the card, Someone charged $1000 on it on a gas station in Brooklyn!!! Food is good but the workers aren't trustworthy and aren't nice at all! Always grumpy
Good pizza just expensive
Decent price good taste
Truly awesome place to have delicious pizza actually i am pizza lover so i often visits here and the things i like about this place was the cleanliness, food quality and location. Overall nice to go for pizza.
Decent interior. Very nice big pizza slices! Friendly staff. Good location. A bit expensive for one slice though. For everything shown in the picture we payed 28$. The bruschetta was delicoussss. Highly recommend. The pizza was good but nothing special.
I saw a line at lunchtime so I went it. I was looking for a wow factor with the pizza put I didn't get that.
Come for the pizza, stay for the Salads. The best grilled chicken salad in NYC!
Good pizza joint in FIDI for a lunch slice
Clean restaurant fast service.
I'm basing my rating on just a regular slice of pizza. They offer an abundance of other toppings & have plenty of seating to accommodate crowds. This location is nearby Pace University.
Flavorful selections. Can get crowded at times
A good selection on the menu. My chicken parmesan was tasty and so was the cheese steak. If you're in lower Manhattan this is a good place to eat and it's not expensive.
Amazing catering experience.
The pizza here is good. What I come here for the most is their chicken cutlet. They use it in the chicken parm, but I typically get the cutlet sandwich with pepper and mozz. Also very good is the chicken cutlet salad. Can never go wrong ordering those 2.
Hey Franco lepuma
This pizza shop has a nice seating area and is clean comfortable. The pizza is pretty good with a good selection to choose from.
Great food.. wonderful staff.. a true classic Pizza & Italian restaurant staple in the financial district.. One of the top 5 pizzas I have ever enjoyed.. & I love trying NYC pizzerias.. if you appreciate NYC thin crust pizza.. you need to try this establishment.
Excellent plain and pepperoni slices. One of my favorite downtown locations
Awesome pizza at cheap price
As a visitor from North Texas, this pizza was awesome! Wish I lived I lived closer!
slightly better than descent cheese slices. they use good cheese and good dough but tomato sauce tastes a bit sweet. a little less sugar and more salt with oregano, and i would've gave it 5 stars
Love the pizza Love the salads This place is great if you want something fast and appetizing
Pizzas are good. Lots of different toppings for the pizza. Good atmosphere
It's literally so bomb. The pizza was nice and warm and crispy NOT soggy, the garlic knots actually tasted like garlic, and the pasta pizza was...alright, I think we had really high expectations for it lol. 10/10 from us.
I called to order and had no problems. The man on the phone was courteous and to the point. He accurately answered my questions. He was polite and my food arrived true to his timetable. The pizza arrived piping hot and it was delicious. I ordered the penne vodka pizza and it was actually 9 dollars less than Masterpiece Pizza down the street. win.
They've got amazing pizza and a great lunch special for $7.95. I love this place.
The best pizza in this area!
Good for a quick slice (assorted varieties) and salads.
Great shrimp sandwich at good price
I work near here and I find myself drawn to this place simply because I’m too lazy to get pizza menu’ed items from any where else. It’s okay, over priced and not specialized 2.6 stars.
I love this place! Great food
Used to have good pizxa. Quality dropped lately. Now just OK pizxa.
Absolutely love it here, I always come here anytime I am in New York
By far the most recommending, delicious, good balance with pastry and ingredients pizza in NYC!!! The most satisfying piece for lunch!!!
Great food for a great price
Great pizza flavors and nice sized slices to where 2 slices will fill you up
Good pizza on the south street seaport
I had their grilled chicken salad.....third time 8n a week. It's delicious!
Great pizza and low prices. Try the pasta pizza! Best meal in New York so far.
Clean place, delicious pizza, My suggestion you try the buffalo chicken pizza omg it's sooo good. Great environment to just chill and eat pizza great choice of music.
The pizza was ok. Sauce is on the sweet side ; the crust on my mushroom granny slice was decent but bland (though the texture was good – chewy with a nice crispiness). Rosella's draws a huge lunch crowd, which makes it busy, and I've been to a lot of NYC pizzerias that are packed and have staff with positive attitudes. Here, all the employees but the cashier seemed like they wanted all the customers to disappear. Maybe they're understaffed and underpaid, I don't know, but it was off-putting. Same case when I was going to come here a while ago. Back to the food side, thought, the grilled chicken salad is excellent, with a ton of roasted / grilled veg, like carrots, green beans, eggplant, and olives.
Excellent Pizza! I can't wait to move to this area. This is my pizza of choice!!!
This Is The Best Restaurant In New York City.
Great food! Best pizzeria in this area.
One of my all time pizza favorites...reasonably priced and delicious
Space is clean and accommodating, service was fast and friendly, pizza was okay.
The best pizza i ever had. I had 2 slice at once lol
Great food
Decent pizza, but the customer service behind the bar is less than desirable. Aside from the English language barrier, the gentlemen who takes your order has an attitude and onyl answers your question with a shrug or pointing motion. I only go back because their buffalo chicken slices are the best in the area.
Great pizza it's been in our neighborhood for 48 years
Delicious pizza and garlic knots! Great lunch spot!
One of the best pizza restaurant in town. Their pizza was flavorful. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the servers were fast and friendly.
You have to try their own beverages (Cherry is the Best :)). We also enjoyed Garlic Knots.
Always packed with college kids from Pace, and even though I hate putting myself in situations like that anymore, Rosella's is worth the visit. Good pizza, tolerant staff, and now you get a fake brick decor which is just fantastic.
This place has been here for years! I love love love it!. You won't be disappointed. I had the eggplant parmesan with penne pasta on the bottom with bread on the side. Omg delicious! I could finish it all, I took the rest home. And yes this order was a take out order. They are not cheap with portions even if it is to go. ❤❤❤❤❤ oh yes they are clean and the restaurant has a happy vibe. I love Rosella's!
Food is delish! Different types of pizza to choose from.
Great pizza !!!!!! one of my fav pizzas ! love their margarita regular half of it with green olives thats my favorite
Fantastic Pizza! If youre anywhere nearby, GO GET A SLICE!! You wont regret
Pizza was good. I actually liked the chicken slice. But the ricotta, buffalo chicken Sicilians and pasta slice were also great! Will come again when I'm around.
I ordered a chicken salad with several veggies it was delicious. I was stuffed. My family members order pizza they enjoyed.
Not only is the pizza delicious they have some crazy types of topping! Fast, affordable & delicious!
Not too great. But not bad either
Quick and good pizza slices
Best pie in the Financial District.
Not the cheapest you can get but it's worth the price.
Good knots. Meh slices.
One of the best pizza take away places in downtown Manhattan.
Really, really excellent pizza! Crunchy crust, cheesey topping. Just overall great basic cheese slice.
One of the best pizza in the city
One of the best places in NYC where you are served finest yummy pizzas.
Best variety of pizza in the area.
decent pizza though greasier than other places and the taste is just slightly off which makes me prefer other spots. Salads are really good. Haven't tried any sandwiches.
I love this place. OK, their house wines (the ones they "make" themselves) are pretty mediocre. But the food is solid, and it's a fantastic place to see good music in a comfortable venue. Especially if you're old and want to sit throughout a show.
One of the places around my University with a really good pasta pizza and garlic knots !
The kids loved the pizza...catered to the kids liking....not piping hot pizza. Rosella's pineapple drink was pretty good and the atmosphere was quite calming. Music was calming and dining area quite clean.
Good for lunch
This Italian restaurant is the sweetest little comfort food place to go. The restaurant gives this incredible family loving feel when you sit in it and the tiny faults in it make it feel not as pretentious as many other restaurants. They have food for almost any picky eater and the food comes out perfect with that taste of love
Delicious but pizzas are a little bit too sweet.
Delicious. A must try!!!
Great pizza! I bought 2 sausage and pepperoni slices plus the pineapple soda...SOOOO GOOODDD!!! Close to Pace University! Not far from the World Trade Center. ..@JKHunter on IG
ANOTHER GREAT PLACE IN THE FINANCIAL DISTRICT WITH GREAT FOOD AND PIZZA. JUST ALWAYS VERY BUSY AND CRAZY. YOU HAVE TO LOVE IT TO WAIT AROUND. WHICH IS WHAT WE DO.
The place is clean and I love the pizza in the lasagna the people so beautiful and nice
Food is AWESOME! Just be careful when using your credit card over the phone. Some used my boss' card fraudulently
Great pizza
Very nice sweetsauce pizza. Crowded during lunch hot hero's worth the buy.. fresh food
Great pizza and staff. Please offer whole wheat or thin crust pizza.
One of the top slice shops downtown with great penne alla vodka
Good veggie options available. Pizza was really good! Clean and ample space to bite on your pizza.
Really good pizza
Heading back to New Hampshire after taking a cruise out of Manhattan we decided we had to have Pizza from New York. This was some of the best Pizza I have ever had. AMAZING!!!!
Reasonable pizza for the area. Clean, large space. Always a good selection of pizza plus a salad bar (not a buffet).
Not sure who’s giving this place a 5 star rating, but there are soooo many other places where you can get a better quality pizza. Reason for 2 stars is that you get you pizza slices quite quick. That’s it
Alot of pizzas to choose from but the staff seemed rude. The cashier was unresponsive and seemed distant, which made us feel like we were talking to a wall or a ghost at most.
Great sauce on the chicken slice. The plain slice was just average.
Best pizza in the world! Try the plain cheese pizza!
Amazing pizza!
BEST PIZZA EVER. Seriously, this is my #1 go to spot since it opened a year ago or so and by far the best, real pizza around. I like to get either sausage or presetting as my toppings. And if I order plain cheese I like to get extra cheese, its still not a ton of cheese but I feel like it makes the pie a little better since it takes about 10 minutes to get it home for me to devour. I also always ask for the home made hot pepper flakes to go, love them. The sauce is amazing too, and the crust is crunchy yet chewy, perfect! I always call at 4:00 on the dot to make sure I can pick up my pizza when I want and not have to wait the 2 hours or so it takes if you call any later. So happy to have real NY pizza back in my life! Rosella's Pizzeria
Great slices. Had the cheese pizza, it was perfect. Cannot relate to many of the poor service comments here, as my experience was perfectly fine. Would return.
I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE. THE LADY IN THE REGISTER WAS THE MOST RUDE REPRESENTATIVE I'VE EVER CAME ACROSS. I ASKED FOR TWO SLICES, AFTER I PAID. I ASKED FOR CONDIMENTS, ONLY TO BE MET WITH DISGUSTING ATTITUDE FROM THE CASHIER. I WAS TOLD I HAD TO PAY. PAY FOR CONDIMENTS? "OKAY I SAID MY MYSELF....THE LADY ON THE REGISTER RUDELY TOLD ME TO GET THE CONDIMENTS FROM THE OTHER PATRONS TABLE. WHEN I DECIDED TO PAY AGAIN (WITH MY DEBIT) HER TONE WAS NOT POLITE AT ALL AND AGAIN WAS MET WITH HER RUDE ATTITUDE. I RELUCTANTLY TOOK OUT CASH AND THE LADY IN THE REGISTER WAS PURPOSELY IGNORING ME ! I CALLED THE STORE TO COMPLAIN TO THE MANAGER (FRANK) NO LUCK AS OF YET BUT IF YOU'RE READING THIS YOU NEED TO TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER!!! (FYI I WENT ON 4/6/2016 APROX 1:00 PM AND THIS WAS MY SECOND TIME GOING TO THAT PIZZA STORE) A LADY WAS EVEN NICE ENOUGH TO OFFER TO PAY FOR THE CONDIMENTS I POLITELY THANKED HER BUT REJECTED HER OFFER BASED OFF OF PRINCIPAL!!!! THE FIRST TIME I WANTED CONDIMENTS...THEY WERE AT PATRONS TABLE...WHEN I ASKED SHE TOLD ME TO GET IT FROM THE CUSTOMERS? WHEN I REPLIED" ISNT THAT YOUR JOB?" SHE JUST THREW THE CONDIMENTS MY WAY ! NEVER AGAIN !
Square tomato, eggplant, and marguerita pizza, tastes better than the other local pizza in the area, including the newly opened Joe's Pizza.
Great pizza. Tried their pasta pizza, it's a great Vegetarian option with great taste.
We came to this spot twice in the matter of 2 days because it was delicious!!!! The salad, pizza, garlic knots, and EVERYTHING else was spectacular!!!!
The pizza was very good
6.1.18 - solid pizza that's over $3 per slice with toppings and the salad is $5. Overall its not bad and it gets busy and crowded.
Inexpensive but moderately good pizzas.
I know I’m this picture it’s a Sicilian but I also had a regular slice as well and both were super good. Even though it was take and go and/or seat. A staff member was so pleasant. He did not let me get up and get a napkin nor anything else for myself. He knew exactly what I needed. This is a great pizza spot. A star on my list.
The pizza was fairly good. But the service and experience was HORRIBLE. I never write negative reviews because I usually try to focus on the good but seriously it was hard on this one. The pizza was alright. The restaurant was 93 degrees inside (not exaggerating, I saw the thermostat). Also the lady at the register was very rude. She messed gave my sister Coke instead of root beer and got mad at ME for her messing it up. I later went for refills and the one guy refilled it and asked her to get the second one. She tried to charge me and I said uh he gave me mine for free and she literally YANKED the drink out of my hand and said NO FREE REFILLS and walked away. Tthe guy just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. I will not be returning.
Pizza are really good. Pasta is bad
Loved the place. So much to choose from! I loved the pizza the most. I ate the buffalo chicken and pasta! They are good size portion. Is thin yes, but is huge! Most amazing pizza place I have eaten at. I'm picky about my pizza so I believe is the best. You should go there for a good slice of pizza!
Terrible! Pizza was gross! Couldn't believe I was in NYC!
This place is great for a single slice or two and has a nice amount of seating if you want to order a whole pizza or otherwise stay a while.
Poor delivery - late and wrong and poor customer service. 4 hours ahead of time we placed a big pizza order for our office and they were 15 mins late (without calling us) and messed-up one of the sandwiches. When we called asking if the online order was there they said "Got it!" and hung up. Had to call again to find when it was actually getting delivered. They said "Call back in an hour" when we called to get a credit for the sandwich that they had put cheese leaving one of us with nothing to eat. No apology.
Stumbled upon this spot On my way to school, and I've been coming ever since. Pizzas are always fresh, and their salad is one of the best I've ever had, it has olives, cucumbers, pepperoncini peppers, roasted carrots, green beans, and mushrooms, and to top it all off, their home-made vinaigrette. You can get to with their grilled chicken, which is both juicy and tender. Their garlic rolls are also really good. Cashiers are always nice and happy.
Seriously epic slices for a home sick New Yorker. It was a perfect tang with quality ingredients. Made to perfection. 100% authentic NYC slice place. Topped off with a snapple- nothing could be better.
I would visit New York again just to be able to go here. Went for a week, went here every single day. This place is GOOD!
Good food. Bad service. Rude
The sauce was a bit too sweet but their buffalo chicken slice was delicious.
I've had Pizza at dozens of places all over NY and I think Rosella's is among the best (if not the best) I've ever had. Most places I've been to seem to either have great specialty slices while their basic cheese is mediocre, or vice versa. Rosella's plain cheese is really good and I absolutely love their specialty Pizza (particularly their Buffalo Chicken). The service is quick and the staff are friendly by NYC standards.
Good pizza and nice music. Usually seating available.
Amazing baked ziti!!!! I wasn’t really hungry but needed to eat at the time due to schedule.... I finished it all because I couldn’t stop eating until I ate every bite! Wish I lived closer, I’d be there daily for dinner!!!
