The food is a small notch above cafeteria grade quality. The company is a farce, trying to pretend it is more than a small family run business with family members posing as wedding planners and "experts" in the field of event management. A friend of my wife had an event with PTE and the "event planner" was overheard calling guests "ugly" but acted cavity provokingly sweet to their face. Highly unprofessional and insulting. I would never use this company because of the food quality alone, but the falseness of the staff seals the deal.

My company recently held a series of events (two lunches, two evening cocktail events) with Personal Touch Experience to unveil our new showroom space in NYC. Building up to the event, the Personal Touch team was totally and completely accommodating. They simply could not have been more professional to deal with regarding all aspects of our event. They dove in to the project with unbounded enthusiasm and brought some really great ideas to the table. Working with my event management firm, they designed a menu which was wholly befitting of our audience (designers, architects, etc.). Taking our event flow into mind, they actually conceived of different stations which expertly extended to space and ensured that traffic steadily flowed to all parts of the showroom as opposed to having folks congregating around one or two stations. When it came to the day of the events, the Personal Touch team was passionate and laser-focused on ensuring our event attendees had amazing food and top-notch service as they toured and enjoyed the space. The Personal Touch team was outstandingly professional and accommodating at every turn. Example 1: One of our guests requested a specific brand of liquor and a member of team went out and got it especially for them. Example 2: A coworker asked if one of the items being butlered was available: that and more was promptly brought to where they were standing just a few short moments later. The amazing presentation, quality of personalized service and all-around wonderful food was all that we could have asked for and more. Based off of this experience, we don’t plan on calling anyone else for our catering needs for an event such as this – and you shouldn’t either.

My company hired Personal Touch to cater our open house event. We needed breakfast served for a spectrum of attendees— from our members, business owners, and ambassadors representing different high profile companies in the North Jersey area. I speak not as an employee of my company but as an individual completely enamored by the unprecedented professionalism John Policastro and his team (namely Luis and Chef Pedro) displays. From the event's planning to execution, everything was done with such care from his team. Personal Touch was very compliant and quick to adapt of our building's protocols (and our requests) when planning the event. John offered solutions to every issue we encountered and worked diligently with everyone involved to the end of the event. The result was nothing beyond excellent. The attendees were treated with good food and proper hospitality that his team provided. The tools and space provided for them was utilized to their fullest extent while working cautiously with our department managers. Myself, as well as my superiors could not be any happier; my company may have found a long term caterer to service us for any future events. This level of attention to detail coupled with Personal Touch's undeniable charm produces spectacular results which would impress even the most particular client. Anyone who have dealt with John would share similar sentiments. Save yourself from the intricacies of event planning and let Personal Touch take care of it.

In the army we had a saying for people like John and the Personal touch crew "above and beyond the call of duty" Over the past 6 to 7 years, we have had consistently good experiences - the staff has always been professional and courteous. By far the best catering experience we have ever had. We made a large party for 300 guests, requested a very unique experienced with European inspired cuisine & John, Nick, Edgar and their whole team went above and beyond with research and also in-person training to learn the flavors and recipes of the entire menu. I asked Personal Touch to cater my husband's 40th Surprise Birthday dinner for 17 guests. I have a vision, but the venue was a little tricky - no kitchen onsite, no heat (in late September) and no running water. They took my vision and created a very memorable evening. The food was delicious and every detail was taken care of. The staff spent hours the day of the event decorating and making sure every detail was perfect. I visited the venue a few times throughout the day and with each person I encountered, it was obvious why they call their business "Personal Touch". They truly make every effort to go out of their way to connect with you and know your expectations. My husband was surprised and awed and gave a speech to our guests about how "perfect" the night was - and that is high praise!! I could not have been happier.
