I initially visited while I was in search of a wedding venue. I talked to John about options available for my event after we enjoyed delicious appetizers, wine and very courteous service. The restaurant has a picturesque patio and an overall very welcoming atmosphere. It was obvious that there was effort put in every detail, from the cleanliness to the food presentation. I walked out knowing I wanted to get married there. There were a few months between the first visit and the actual wedding. I visited a few more times and every time I left satisfied with the experience. Now, for the wedding... John said "let us know what you need, and we'll take care of the rest," and that's exactly what happened. Everything ran smoothly and it went as planned. He partnered with my florist (Diana from Adobe Rose) whom is located in the same business plaza, and other friends to make sure everything was was good to go. I am very happy how everything turned out. My only complaint is that it went by too fast! *Photo Credit to RaVisuals

Had a great experience, staff was very friendly (I came in a t-shirt, shorts and flops, maybe a tad underdressed) and the food was fantastic. I ordered the filet and prawns and had tiramisu for dessert. Steak was cooked to order and all the food honestly reminded me of the food my loving wife prepares for me at home (which is a major plus, I travel a lot for work so eat out quite often). Will return and recommend.

An El Paso must, a local staple, the Magic Bistro will forever be a favorite. There is no where else in town to get amazing salads/sandwiches/soups like this. John is a caring and hands-on owner making sure service is always 100%.

Absolutely loved this place. I'm not a salad type of guy. I normally prefer to have a steak or a burger than a salad. However, the chicken fajita salad was amazing. I also had liked the chicken Tlalpeño soup which was very tasty. Although, to me it was lacking a little bit on the chipotle side. In Mexico the Caldo Tlalpeño has a stronger taste of chipotle and it's quite a bit hotter than this. But otherwise it was very good. Great service by our server Freddie who kept our glasses full and checked on us often without being obtrusive. I will be returning here real soon.

The Magic Bistro is still the magical place its always been. We dined on a Saturday night and the ambiance was quaint, private and perfect for a couple to share a delicious dinner without noise. My husband had the Wasabi Seared Ahi Tuna and I had the special of the night, which was the Ribeye with Buttered Shallots and both were delectable. We started our dinner with Prosciutto wrapped Asparagus and Pesto Flatbread. Our waiter Manny, perfectly paired our dinner with the right bottle of wine and provided the highest quality of service throughout our dinner. We ended our evening with the Creme Brulee and the Bread Pudding. Both were delicious! As per Manny's suggestion, we will visit for lunch very soon. I highly recommend the Magic Bistro as our evening was a success!

As the name states this place is magical . When you enter this place, you are welcomed by a beautiful Garden decorated with string lights and beautiful flowers. There is a little fountain at the entrance which adds to the atmosphere as well as the local birds singing around the garden. Food is delicious, I had a vegetarian meal that even my carnivorous companions where eager to try. Great food, and awesome atmosphere, doesn't get much better. Also live music, sometimes.

Love Magic Bistro for lunch. I had the combo, 1/2 sandwich, cup of soup and salad. Just right. I actually had the Asian wrap which is one of my favorites. Have lunch then go shopping in the Marketplace!

My niece's wedding reception was at Magic Bistro and it was beautiful. I had gone there for lunch several times and had no idea how nice of a wedding venue it could be. I had them cater my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner and the staff (especially the owner!) went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Food delicious, service amazing, and if an issue arises man the staff are real good and understanding about it. Great place to have a break. But we as customers should not push our time of visit remember they close at 2:30 so don't show up at two thirty they are very punctual.

Great atmosphere and service. Plates have very nice presentation. I had a house salad which was very good. My main entree was the tenderloin with pilaf rice and green beans. The dish was very good and the tenderloin was cooked to perfection however, it was somewhat bland for my taste (I love steak). The dessert was amazing (white chocolate bread pudding). Over all great place to enjoy delicious food. Would recommend for sure!

Went for the first time and did not like : ( we went to celebrate my birthday and everyone of my coworkers did not like it. Plates are served very small you would think they are delicacies but they are not I got the chicken fajita salad it was mostly chopped up lettuce and 5 chicken cubes like 5 diced green bell peppers. My Co workers didn't like the chicken tlapeno soup and their sandwiches were too small. I guess it's best to order a burger there one of the girls said it was ok.

The food and service was good but eating on the patio was a a nightmare due to the tremendous amount of flies...as we were relocated to.new seating inside the staff stated they "would not want to eat in that area". It was a lasting impression of my first time eating there. This problem needs to be resolved. I am generous but not willing to share my $$ meal with flies...grose!
