Excellent breakfast and lunch spot, but staff is small and everything is made to order so be prepared to wait. It will be worth it. If you like a quiet dinner in a nice setting with terrific food, you should give the Market Roost a try for dinner. Prices are reasonable as well. Dinner is served on a limited basis, so you must call ahead.

This place is simply amazing. I have never been disappointed and I have frequented it many times over the years. The Eggs Benedict is the best! No one makes this dish like Norman, who is the chef and owner. All the food is always fresh and made when ordered. Sometimes it can take awhile for the your order to be prepared but it is really worth the wait. Just bring your laptop, newspapers, magazines, and relax and enjoy.

A great spot for lunch. While the weekend brunch is outstanding, the eclectic lunch menu has something for everyone. The Chef puts his own touch on all the offerings, which makes even familiar favorites a unique culinary experience. Since everything is made in house, recommendations or special requests are cheerfully accommodated.

Stopped here before a 5k that we were running in Flemington. It was OK. One thing that surprised me... the cannoli filling is flavored, which I didn't expect AT ALL. It had orange flavoring. I expect cannolis to be plain/vanilla, but they apparently don't do that. They have orange, cinnamon, or anise flavor. No one in my dining party liked it at all. The croissant was good, but nothing special.

We love the Market Roost ! Over the years, we have invited many friends to meet us here for Sunday brunch and it has quickly become of favorite for everyone. The atmosphere is very casual. There is sometimes a wait to be served but it is well worth it. There is never a rush to turnover a table. We sometimes bring our morning newspaper to read with coffee while we are waiting for our meal. We have never been disappointed in anything that we have ordered. The Eggs Benedict are amazing! The pastries are too!
