I sponsored a flag day/ Karaoke event at the sumner house and it was a success for these reasons the service by the staff was excellent, the food tasted excellent, everything I needed in support was provided! All my guest wants to know, when will I have my next one at this location, and they loved the deck outside!! Karaoke music was provided my Traci Fulton a very professional DJ and talented person! And a big Hoorah!! To all the singers, you were fabulous! Thank you once again for everyone that was involved! Your professionalism was awesome!! Hoorah!!

Stopped in for late lunch. Two people at bar. Was seated with menu waited for waitress to return and at very best ask what we would like to drink. Didn't happen. Just got up and left. You need to know your job. The restaurant just lost around 50 $ 10 for tip . Thank you for saving me some money .

My boyfriend and I decided to stop here on whim on our way to our vacation house for the weekend. We were surprised by the beauty and charm of this place! Food was good, although entree took a bit longer than we expected. Overall good food, decent price, and perfect for a cozy meal

We were passing by on the way to the smuggs and stopped by for a quick dinner. It is very cozy and welcoming restaurant. Quick bite turned into the full blown dinner. The food was great, service was slightly slow but considering dinner on Friday night in a small town was totally acceptable. The atmosphere was great, lots of people at the bar. Will definitely stop when next.timw in the area.

Came for my sister's baby shower in private upstairs space. It had a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and clean restrooms. Access to the event room was the only downside- you had to walk through multiple dinning rooms to get to staircase to go up!

We came in for an early Sunday dinner and were seated in the old fashioned dining room with the beautiful colonial fireplace and wood details. Our waitress was quick and kind, the drinks and mushroom appetizer came fast. Recommend the mushrooms w. delicilous sauce. Dinners also served hot & promptly. Shrimp scampi was wonderful! Specials choice Ravioli & pesto sauce also very good, both included salad. Prices were competative. The owner was friendly and we recommend The Summer House even in Winter!

We come to Summer house for Sunday breakfast a lot. The food is good, reasonably priced, wait staff is friendly and accommodating. Food is out quick atmosphere is simple but nice. Would recommend to anyone. We need more places like this around the Greater Falls.

I liked it. Our waitress was a bit overwhelming though, way too energetic, but she did great work and the food was better than I expected. I only give it four stars because I've only been once. I will update in a month as I plan to go again.

Great location how ever slow service and the place was no busy 45 mins to get food only one person working the floor guy was great but could not do it alone in a timely manner with a very limited menu which is not a problem I expected the meals to have a higher quality the eggs benedict was a very disappointing piece the eggs were not done properly and the hollandaise sauce was extremely thin with no flavor the home fries we're good hopefully it was just an off day for them because it showed and the service in in the meal the server was great he was by himself and doing everything he could no problems on his part but on a Sunday morning there should be more help so that service is not delayed and the quality stays at a high level

The food prices have gotten more reasonable. The drink selection has improved. The staff is generally pleasant. There is an outside deck where you can eat your food on warm summer nights. Occasionally there is live entertainment.

#1. We were undecided where we were going to sit. We were going to sit in the bar section & the TV was too loud. They put us upstairs. We both have COPD & my husband has a limp from a fractured heal. We made it upstairs. Comfortably warm. No pictures on the wall very drab looking. Again, music was so loud & coming from an Ipod. #2. The waitress was very prompt in taking our order. a. Hubby ordered steak au poivre.............med. rare. It was a very thin piece of rib eye & over done. Not even presentable. He ordered baked potato & got mashed potato. b. I ordered New York Sirloin med. rare w/ a glaze. Steak was perfect but no glaze. Manager brought me the glaze. #3. We left down the back stairs which are very dangerous & should not be used as an EXIT. NEVER. Hubby almost fell down the stair. The Hostess explained many of the staff did not show up (WHY??) That is not our fault. The manager took half off ($12) from the bill. Hubby was so disappointed because he wanted to take me out & have a wonderful dinner. He will think twice before he will ever go back.

My wife and I reserved the upstairs room for our anniversary. I almost felt guilty for being so indulged and treated like royalty. The room is lovely and great for quiet conversation. The meals are excellent! It is a package deal, full appetizers, salad, main course, desert, bottle of wine. The staff is pleasant and accommodating as well, with timely service and no complaints about multiple trips up the stairs. My wife and I look forward to our next meal here.

Stopped by for a drink a while back while passing through Charlestown. Looked like a nice warm establishment from the outside and decided to give it a shot. I sat down at the bar and was ignored for a minute while the bartender finished texting. Once I finally got my beer, I finished it quickly and still left a good cash tip. The bartender walk by and grabbed my money without saying a word and went back on her phone. Don’t waste your time here.

Discovered this little piece of Heaven totally by accident while exploring Western NH. Charlestown is a beautiful little town with no traffic light to be seen and home to Carlton "Pudge" Fisk. We knew arriving for dinner around 6pm would mean we'd have to wait. The hostess was very apologetic and attentively checked on us as we waited by the Saturday night special pasta bar as the Chef chatted with us and other patrons while preparing their custom dishes. The food was IMPECCABLY prepared and was DELICIOUS! Portion sizes were great and the wait staff was amazing...all were positive and smiling despite a super busy evening, including a birthday party for an 80 year old! Every member of the staff was working together which is another reason for the resturant's success! A MUST EAT place whenever you're in this part of New Hampshire!

While we were a large party of 18, it took 3 hours to get out of the restaurant. Much of the food was cold. My Cesar salad was made from warm, limp lettuce that was not Romaine. Bland Mexican food - no flavor at all - pre frozen we think. It took 90 minutes before a plate of nachos mate its way to the table. One person had appraisers 30 minutes before anyone else received theirs. The waitress never once came to us to let us know that things would be going slow. Never again.

We had been to two restaurants trying to find a place for a full dinner noon meal The first had a very long waiting line, the second only served sandwiches. We called Sumner House to be sure they could accommodate our group of five. The service and food were extraordinarily pleasant. We will definitely be back and tell others about it. Reliably good, extremely reasonably priced, nice servers. Can get a little rowdy in the evening but they’re good about shutting down the crazies. Great spot for brunch or dinner. Lots of entertainment on the calendar too.

The prices here will break your balls once you see what you get for the price..... another typical place to eat that would rather charge top dollar and give you low quality food than provide you with a good bang for your buck.. stick with the place across the street if you want to leave satisfied

I went here to meet friends for dinner. The place was busy and had a nice vibe about it as the locals were in the pub area enjoying libations. We had a table for 5 and 2 more friends joined us which did not rattle the server at all she just went about taking care of us. I had the quesadilla which was pretty good. It was not busting out with ingredients, but it was a nice bite. I had a beer with my meal and we were not rushed at all. We spent a coupe of hours talking and laughing in a place with nice atmosphere.

Decided to try Breakfast . My wife and I ordered Eggs Benedict. The sauce was like melted butter, like it was just put in the microwave, no taste, plus not enough of it. Eggs were over cooked, not a runny yoke.
