As part of an annual tradition, we recently gathered here with a large group (around 20) of parents and children for brunch before dropping off the kids at summer camp. The brunch was spectacular, especially the cream cheese and lox and made to order omelets. The atmosphere is simply the best in Newport. There was a live singing duo I believe from a local school who were superb. Service was above par (the owner took care of us personally) and the chef was amazing. I cannot say enough about our experience. I look forward to next year.

Great Sunday brunch on. St Patrick's day. Great variety, we came as a large group and everyone had a great time. Even as a vegetarian I found a lot of options. And the coffee was incredibly good, one of the smoothest I've tasted. Lovely service, such friendly people.

I passed their sign today on fathers day on my way to church and saw a lbgt flag attached to their sign. I was offended that they openly and politically supported a group that I am totally against. My family was taking me there later to celebrate fathers day. For this reason I could not support this business today and will not support it on the future!!!

Our youth group had a banquet for our graduating seniors at the Old Courthouse, and we've never had a better experience. Everyone we worked with to set up the event was so courteous and even the servers were completely thrilled to be a part of our event when I told them what it was for. And the food was DELICIOUS! We even have a girl with severe food allergies and they made a separate dinner and dessert for her. The entire three course dinner was for 30 people, but it was so much more affordable than other venues we had checked.. It was an amazing experience and I will DEFINITELY hold the banquet there again next year!

Really delightful quiet restaurant in a historic setting. Persian rugs keep the sound at a minimum so it is a great place for a long business lunch. Full espresso bar to cap off a meal. Decent wine list and friendly staff.

The stunning and unique ambiance do not reflect the terrible service. We went for brunch, the food was good but we had finished eating by the time we received drinks and we had to flag down a server to ask for them. All restaurants should give you water without asking, this one did not. Lastly, we were asked twice if we would like our check, twenty minutes passed before we received it. The chef, however, was wonderful. Worked hard to get everyone the omelettes they'd ordered and they were very good.

This was a wonderful experience. Like stepping into another world, with its classic Euopean decor and menu. I brought an artist friend and we both vowed to return. The service, the crisp linen tablecloths, napkins, was like stepping into a time capsule and being transported to that rich aristocratic time when tea is served and retired gentlemen linger over long lunch. There was a piano but no one played. The artwork on the walls and rich fabric draperies truly suit this wonderful, historic location. Climb the steps from doentown Newport, or park adjacent. It's so relaxing, you won't want to leave. I understand they also serve a Sunday brunch.

Excellent breakfast. Incredible selection, fresh foods and eggs to order to highlight long list. Dress is as you please from Sunday duds to shirts and tee. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The interior is finely decorated without being obnoxious. Ample parking from the back or on the oval though you have walk a lot of stairs in the front. Side/back entry has level access to the main door.
