Big Dave's is the real deal. Best bagels north of New York....they're crunchy on the outside, not too dense on the inside, and nice and big. Very much like NY and Jersey bagels. We also like the variety of sandwiches that are big enough for two to share.

We frequent North Conway and never noticed this place. Once morning we were looking for breakfast/lunch and found them online. Just a short drive from our hotel the place was hopping with locals which is always a good sign. Everything we tried we LOVED and the service was great. We plan to make this a staple stop every time were in town now!

Super breakfast burritos. I taught summer classes, and we'd order from Big Dave's most days. Kept every full, focused and satisfied, perfect ratio of all thing important to a breakfast burrito. Sandwiches are also fresh, and well balanced meat-veggie-cheese. Bagels are excellent, I usually stock up on a bag of 1-day old and freeze them. Convenient to the community college, high school, and shopping. Lots of excellent and affordable food for people with big appetites!

Yum. I got the Chocorua for lunch, and it was loaded with chicken, some nice thick pieces of mozzarella, and a good helping of sweet peppers with fresh pesto. Waited a few minutes while they made it fresh and it was worth it. Didn't have a chance to try any baked goods, but they look legit.

Big Dave catered both our rehearsal dinner as well as our wedding day breakfast at the Hardy Farm. I cannot even begin to express how happy we were with using Big Dave. The food was so unbelievably delicious! It was extremely fresh, delivered on time and with a very friendly face! Having a rehearsal dinner on an extremely hot/humid day in July, the marinated chicken platter, salad, potato salad and macaroni salad was EXACTLY the right choice for that night! As soon as we all started eating, the room went silent because we were all stuffing our faces and loving every second of it. The macaroni salad was definitely the talk of the town that night! The breakfast table platter we ordered was also out of this world. Fresh, delicious, and easy for people to pick at all morning long. Dave had everything well wrapped for delivery and he came by to pick up the dishes after we were finished the next morning. Next time we are in North Conway, we will be sure to stop by to grab some more delicious treats!

If you love bagels this is the RIGHT place, the cream cheese (I always get scallons) is to die for and loaded with scallons. They have an incredible olive cream cheese and veggie too, but the scallons are the best in my opinion. But my true favorite is the ROAST BEEF. It is cooked on site and is so RARE and tender, I sometimes buy it by the pound so I can have more at home!!! The prices might seem a bit high for the area but for the size of the portions and quality....worth EVERY penny!!!! The customer service is awesome too, on the rare chance your order isn't correct, they WILL fix it. They even offered to drive to my work to replace my breakfast!!!

I placed a catering order with Big Dave's 2 days prior to a meeting that I was hosting. Due to the short time-frame, they were unable to deliver it for me and I was a little disappointed. Upon my arrival, Big Dave himself was overly friendly and "expecting me." My order was ready and waiting for me, Dave gave me a free coffee, and a friendly staff member escorted me out to my car with my entire order. Thank you for a great customer experience!!

Easily the best NYC-style bagels, spreads and sandwiches in New England. I come here every year -- often several times/ski trip -- and grab both breakfast and lunch. Make sure to try their Philly Cheesesteak. One of the best 'real' Philly's I've ever had. Great, quick and friendly service, too!

It's a hole in the wall and can easily be missed if your not paying attention. If you want the taste of a homemade goodness this is your place. They also serve burritos and they are very large so come with an appetite.

So MUCH yum. Want the best bagel that's this side of NYC? Better come here. Everywhere else, it's just not a Big Dave's Bagel. I cannot get enough of their jalapeno bagels. And if you're from away, grab a bag of their half priced bagels on your way out; you'll be glad you did. :-)

Great service and the maple bagel was amazing. A little large on the iced coffee size but it’s ok as I love coffee. Only complaint is line seemed a little disorganized but staff was attentive, friendly and organized so it works. Totally going back whenever I’m in North Conway! :)

Stopped for a sit down sandwich. Door locked at 3:45 on a Sunday but closing time but schedule says open till 4 pm. Went to the car and saw several workers. Would have gladly taken it to go. Wondering if the owner knows what goes on?!

Their bagels really are very very good and I've had them from all over in including New York City. They have a large supply and many varieties. The only kind that I didn't see that I like was rye. Highly recommend picking some up there if you're staying in the area.

Awesome place to get a non-traditional breakfast. I have not eaten here for lunch as I am a seasonal camper and found this place earlier this spring They have seats for eating in, but it seems most of the business is to go. Breakfast burritos are excellent. Cooked to order and they don't leave you hungry. I ordered a side of home fries with mine and I couldn't finish the home fries because the burritos were so filling. I have gotten bagels there before and they are great too. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a hearty breakfast.

Also the location is kind of odd a bit off the main path and in odd parking lot and building area. However good selection for sandwiches and looked like quality food as well.

I remembered this Deli from a stop here last year. Been here twice in the last two weeks. This is not the place where they count out the pieces of cheese, deli meat or the meatballs. I went for the white tuna salad sub and needed a fork to put back the tuna salad that was oozing out the sides. Unlike the "national chains", with a huge exposure, it's the little shops that are hidden away that need to be highlighted so that they can survive. If you have a chance, stop by and give Big Dave's a try. You will get a great sandwich.

I often swing by Dave's in the morning before work to pick up a breakfast sandwich. Less expensive than fast food, twice the quality, plus friendly prompt service! The egg & cheese on a toasted everything bagel I just had was so good! I love Big Dave's!

A friend just went in to get a bagel.. Her wait staff was not sanitary He handled money with one glove and dropped the other glove but still proceeded to put the glove back on and handle the food with both gloves being contaminated.. I wanted to try the place but ill pass.

Found this gem at the end of our week up in North Conway. Wish we found it on day one. Breakfast sandwiches are great and hearty. Also the burrito wraps were awesome. Chili was pretty good also. The bagels were amazing. We got the maple one, never had maple before and it was delicious. And lastly the strawberry cream cheese was incredibly delicious! Will definitely be eating here as our go to breakfast/lunch place from now on when we go back to North Conway.

We were looking for a similarly priced but better option than McDonald's, and boy did we hit the jackpot with this place. It's a small place with a simple menu that's amazing at what they do. My boyfriend and I got signature sandwiches, the philly cheesesteak and the 33rd. Both were well made with fresh, high quality ingredients in perfect ratios. Unlike a lot of similar shops, with sandwiches so full of browning lettuce that they can't fit any meet. The sandwiches come with a fresh dill pickle and choice of macaroni salad, red potato salad, or chips, and I recommend both the macaroni and potato salad. They're equally delicious, so it's a matter of personal preference. It's conveniently located near Settler's Green, and a perfect choice for lunch on a day out shopping.
