I visited Ricardo's 5 years ago with my daughter. Not impressed! The wait was forever and it was not a busy time of day. The beef Enchiladas tasted like the beef inside was canned beef. The Salsa and chips were great. There is a great Mexican restaurant several blocks to the North of Ricardo's.

The food was ok the meat ball soup had way too much celery and onions to enjoy the a total soup, and it did not come with rice,which is surprising because authentic meatball soup in Mexico has to have rice to complete the plate. The quesadilla on the other hand was great and super delicious. We loved the idea of having a "jarrita" with extra coke for every beverage, great idea. The costumer service was outstanding, especially from our waiter Galvan,who was inviting, sweet, attentive and very professional.

Good Mexican food, but was a little different. I had the chili Colorado and it came in small corn shell. I asked the waiter to make it alittel spicy and it was perfect. The rest of the table was happy with there food also. Good clean restaurant with great service on the night we were there.

Use to love this place but it's just not the same! When I go at Happy Hour and take my daughter the bartender Manny charges me ten something for my daughters drink! Nothing happy about that. I put any where from fifty to a hundred on the machine, she plays twenty or less, still no reason to charge her that much for a drink!

I wish we lived closer to a Ricardo's! It may be one of the last good Mexican restaurants on the West side. The service is friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is fun and relaxing. The prickly pear margarita is the best!!! They have good kids meals as well, and the servers are so friendly with children! Ask for the spicy salsa if you like it hot.

The place is 24/7, has great Marguerite's, food is 3 star. The younger waiters on the bars side are are great but watch out for the older males. The bar waiters are awesome. The food use to be better. It's not bad. I like the fish and fajitas. Good and hot most of the time depending on where you sit. I've never done Happy Hour. I've eaten here over 10 times. I will go back.

Went to the last Las Vegas Magic Luncheon. Quite a turn out. We expected 25 and had 40 people there. The staff at Ricardo's were Great. They set out two more tables and chairs and added two more servers and bus people. The food is always good. It's Real Mexican food made by Real Mexicans. You can't beat that! We were there for three and a half hours. All that time and everyone got what they ordered and had a never ending Supply of drinks, chips, and dip. We will be back again!

Great place to go for buffet or regular lunch or dinner. Nice atmosphere. They seem to have plenty of room. Call ahead and reserve your table if you are having a party. Is a great place for parties. They dont have cakes. Watch out for the doors. They are not automatic opening for handicapped guests. I had one shut hard enough to get a big bruise on my leg. Be careful.

Ricardo's has been here for years. It is consistent in it's level of service and quality of food. The menu has changed slightly since I was here 6 months ago, but for the better with expanded items. The lunch buffet is very good with lots of variety. I typically get a burrito, although last night I tried the chimichanga. It was good but could of been more crunchy. It was kinda like a burrito flash fried. I don't remember seeing this on the menu prior.

Love the happy hour here. They give you chips and salsa to snack on, there happy hour it's good pricing for drinks and for food. I would recommend getting the happy hour Margarita on the Rocks versus out of the machine, out of the machine it's a little tart. Let ourselves that taste really good they have a couple different kinds. And you can share an appetizer or two with their friend and that's more than plenty.

I must say the service here surpasses any restaurant I've been to recently. I had the carne asada burrito, it was so flavorful and fresh. The roasted pork inside was loin and the platter itself had a sauce that was great. Our server Jose was fantastic and his runner who's name I didnt see was also great. Ricardos restaurant has my vote for best Mexican food on this part of the valley.

I recently had my wedding dinner here and was very impressed. We had a large party and the staff never missed a beat. We were taken such good care of. The food was so amazing and fresh we got compliments all night long about how good it was. We did buffet style and no one left hungry. I would recommend Ricardos to anyone looking for great food and service. I want to give a big thank you to all the staff involved with my dinner including the bakery they use which is where we got our cake which was delicious and beautiful.

Came here the other week with a friend for lunch. The service was over all excellent. The waiter was polite and made sure we were satisfied. The restaurant itself is very clean with a relaxing atmosphere. Would be the spot for a quiet date during slow hours. The food was great as well. Went there last weekend and the customer service was great. The food on the other hand was not authentic Mexican food. I know what carne asada is and never have I been served a full on NY strip until that day. The only authentic thing there was the hand made tortillas. The beans were mediocre and salsa was about as good as the store bought stuff.

Ricardos has wonderful food, and attentive staff, and is open 24/7. They have been in business for about 30 years and match of their staff have been with them 4 many, many years. To me, as a businessman, having longevity in your staff means people love their jobs. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas! They also have a wonderful catering service and although they have excellent Mexican food, they can cater with many other types of cuisine. This is just a very, very nice place to eat!

I went here for my birthday to have dinner with my husband 7/16 @ 10:45pm our food tasted like yesterday morning leftovers. The atmosphere was a surrounded with loud customers talking about drug habits and jail time. Another laughed so loudly our entire visit. This was not how i remembered Riccardos.

I haven't been here in over an year and I used to come here because it had good food and good service, but after today I am not coming back. The service at the bar is horrible. The bartender only pays attention to known customers. I am sitting here for about 30 minutes infront of my empty plate and she still didn't clean it up and she's going home now. The food isn't as good as it used be either. I am really disappointed to what happened to this place

This was OK but not the great Mexican food experience I was hoping for. I ordered Nachos, a drink and some tacos and my bill was around $40. Doesn't that seem insanely high? Like I said, the food was good but not great. The service was OK and the ambiance was standard sit-down Mexican restaurant. I will not be back.

I have been going to Macayo's for yrs but since they closed down we decided to try Recardos, i have eaten there before the food & service & interior is very good however i ordered the fish tacos & unfortunately will never order it again. The corn tortillas very thin & turned mushy & the fish mixture had little flavor. Had to put a lot of salas on it.

There's usually a small group of us that come in very late at night and depending on the size of the group, the service can be hit-or-miss. If it's 3 or 4 people, it's usually pretty good. If there's 5 or more, than the service really starts to decline and we end up waiting a long time for drink refills and to get the check. I don't necessarily blame them because we come in around midnight or 1:00 a.m. and I don't expect there to be a full wait staff at that time. I usually order the chicken flautas or a tamale plate. My boyfriend got for heat as the other night that looked incredible. My friend orders the chimi changa every time.They are very generous with the chips and salsa portion of the meal, and they don't charge extra for the bean dip they bring out in addition to the red and green sauces. Make no mistake that this is Americanized Mexican food, but it's very good for what it is.

Recently had our Wedding dinner here, Kind and friendly Staff. Like many people, I’ve had Carne Asada at restaurants all round the world - and what you always get, which is just fine, is a thin flank type carne asada steak. The carne asada served at Ricardo’s in Las Vegas is a New York cut carne asada that is the size and thickness of a bone in rib eye. Best carne asada dish I’ve had, and be sure to sit at the bar and ask for Manny for the best service and cocktails!

My partner and I stopped in to have a look at the Ambiance of the restaurant before we made the decision if we were going to dine or move on. The atmosphere of this restaurant is absolutely appealing and wonderful to walkthrough. It's not a new place obviously you could see that but it's a welcoming place. The server was very nice was patient and courteous with us also very informative recommended alternatives for my margarita drink which I was very happy about thank you very much for that. The food was very delicious I had the shrimp fajitas my partner had a steak with vegetables and a soup. Overall having dinner at this restaurant was just absolutely extravagant. I would highly recommend you check it out as to myself and my partner at we will be new and faithful customers enjoy.

This was literally the BEST Mexican restaurant I've ever been to! The food was so delicious, slightly spicy but not so overwhelmingly hot that the heat completely overshadows all the flavor of the food. I had the chicken tamale with a cheese enchilada, which came with rice and beans, and everything was spectacular. My honey had their lunch buffet, which changes daily, and the seasoning on the sliced for the tacos was phenomenal! I want a job there JUST do I can replicate whatever marinade/spices they use for that! The food was decently priced, especially for how tasty it was! The service was incredible also. We were there for lunch so it was a little slower, but we did not wait for a table, a server, drink refills, or the bill when we were done. We were seated in the cantina area in a booth. There was a walled partition separating the bar area from the tables and each table had a small mounted tv that was playing sports on mute while music played at a tolerable level in the background. We very much appreciated that because we are not sport people, we just don't care that much about adults playing games for astronomically high amounts of money and it's always annoying when a restaurant or bar has sports on in the background with such a high volume you can't even hear each other during a normal conversation. We never had to flag down a waiter for more drinks; both our waiter and the bar assistant were proactive in bringing another drink and coming to ask how we were doing. This was just a great experience overall and we will definitely be back!

I was introduced to this place a long time ago by family in the area. Looks to be family run. I go here nearly every trip to Vegas. Not far from the strip, it has no smoking (that I have ever seen) and no bing-bing-bing from slots. Quiet, nice place for really good Mexican food. I highly recommend this place! Great happy hour, pleasant staff, great margaritas. Could use a little update in appearance, but doesn't take away from food.

They deserve all 5 stars, but there is no such thing as a perfect world. I'm kidding. I enjoy the atmosphere, staff, and food. No matter if it's 4:20 am or 12noon the service is always the same. I like the lil tv's in all the booths. Haven't figured out if the can all play separate channels or if the bar TV is main hub. Carnitas Verde Burrito was really good. And their hot salsa, yeah buddy, it's hot. When you in Vegas, this is the place to eat good mexican food.

Wonderful luncheon buffet with many different tastes. I had asada soft shell & grilled hard shell chicken tacos, rice/beans & cheese enchiladas. All taco toppings available down to fresh cilantro and lime. Well worth making the time to stop in. Also reasonable price, pleasant atmosphere and staff is fantastic!
