Went for lunch, on Facebook there is and AD where you get a buy one get one free meal download it,use it, it goes through Messenger show your server when you arrive. Cocktails, great I had the st-germain jalapeno margarita it was delicious. The chips and salsa are $2 the chips come out very warm and delicious the food was just okay the service was great our server was Paul he was very kind and attentive. I would recommend for lunch.. I ordered the fish tacos one grilled and one fried I preferred the grilled it had that crunchy greasy fishy deliciousness that I love. My daughter ordered the carne asada tacos she thought the meat was overcooked and it was a little tough to eat I'm thinking you may be able to order the carne asada the way you like it be that it medium rare or medium I'm not sure we didn't ask there is a warning on the menu that states consuming raw foods may be hazardous to your health, which means they may not be cooked completely that was on the carne asada Astrid as well my husband ordered the combination platter enchilada, Taco, tamale they were out of tamales at lunch time

My wife and I had the pleasure to dine at the Bandito restaurant while vacationing in the Las Vegas area. The food was first rate, the service outstanding, the design of the restaurant provided the feeling of positivity and openness given the glass construction allowing the customers to feel apart of the surrounding area. It's location is a few blocks off the main Las Vegas Blvd tourist area which we found agreeable and yet near enough to local hotels to walk there. The owner treated us like we were old friends, for a city that has a reputation of being fake, it was refreshing to meet a business owner who interacts with customers in a genuine manner. In addition, I left my hat at the restaurant which I'm apt to do on occasion, they actually took the time and effort to bring my hat to Holiday Inn where we were staying at a few blocks away. WOW!

The space was open and airy very comfortable seating of different types the decorations were great nice ambience. The service was outstanding! My daughter ordered the habanero shrimp she didn't think it was spicy enough but the shrimp were very fresh and good my other daughter ordered the taco salad and wasn't raving about it I don't think it was spicy enough for her I don't know what she didn't really say. I ordered the ala carte put your own tacos together and thoroughly loved it took home the leftovers. Overall a very good experience and would love to try it again and try a different dish next time.

An upscale Mexican restaurant with good delicacies. It is a fine dining place with ample of sitting inside and outside. Ambience is pretty good and contemporary. Ample parking space as well. Salsa's are excellent. Guacamole was a little bland for my taste but was freshly prepared. All the tacos were really tasty. My favorites were the Al pastor Carne Asada and the Carnitas. House margaritas were also delicious. Add a jalapeno to it and it is amazing.

Have given this place a try a few times now. Not impressed at all. I ordered 3 tacos and the price was $21. The steak was dry and flavorless both times. Way too expensive for a less than average product. On the good side, the place is decorated.

We were visiting from Phoenix, AZ, a group of 14 of us celebrating a family member’s 21st birthday. After a lot of internet research we chose Bandito for her birthday dinner and we could not have made a better choice. Everything was delightful, from the food (especially the Carne Asada and Habanero Shrimp) as well as the drinks (Chango Wango all the way) and last but certainly not least the service (our server was attentive, subtle, friendly and knew the menu. Also, the bussers, runners and hostess supported the waitress very well). I would highly recommend!

I don't understand everyone raving about the margaritas. Thank goodness it was happy hour and they were 1/2 price. I wasn't impressed. We were offered guacamole which I assumed was complimentary for HH but no, it was 12.00 I think. Also offered churros for dessert, another 8.00. Total for 2 people, 3 margaritas, 1 lemonade, $87.00. A little pricey.

Bandito is delicious and easy to access. Most places on the strip or just off the strip are difficult to get to/park at. Bandito has plenty of parking and is close enough to the strip that it's easy to get to. Their chips and salsa are great. As are their enchiladas and authentic street corn. But nothing tops their sizzling queso. Which comes out boiling/melting in a hot skillet with sliced peppers. We also tried the acorn squash, which was such a unique and delicious item. Especially for a Mexican food place. The beers we're great. The mixed drinks were also great (especially if you get one in a giant metal pineapple). I'll definitely go back the next time I'm in Vegas.

This is the best Latin/Mexican restaurant I have ever been to, and I've had more than my fair share. The food is the best I've had of it's kind, the service is on par with the best restaurants of any type I've been to, and the atmosphere is great. Parking was easy, there was no wait on a Friday night. Great experience overall. I will say that it was also the priciest Mexican I've ever eaten, but it is Las Vegas and I think it was well worth it. With a beer/cocktail, queso, entree, and dessert, it comes out to about $40 per person. Amazing restaurant!

This is a really cool place. We were welcomed by live Spanish guitar, a magician from America's Got Talent, and awesome decor. The jalapeño margarita is amazingly good, having a light spicy burn after each sip, and the tacos were great. Will be going back if I'm ever in Vegas again

We got married in Vegas this past Saturday and went to Bandito for a late lunch with our 23 guests. Everyone thought the food was amazing, our server Tony and the rest of the staff was AWESOME! and the building was so beautiful! We will definitely be eating here again when we come back to Vegas. My rating is based more upon the sign and anticipation. The sign says Latin Kitchen, so I was expecting to get some churrasco con chimichurri, ropa vieja, maduros or tostones but no, this is a fancy Mexican restaurant. The place is nice but I was mislead

First time reviewer, felt it necessary after the heinous service. I've been here before with family and I did enjoy my previous visit, but my last visit me and my guest were ignored while we waited to be seated for at least ten minutes, which wouldn't be an issue if they were busy, but they were not. Didn't seem like a staffing issue, as there were several employees running about, a couple made eye contact and just kept walking, with just maybe 2-3 small parties in the whole place? So eventually we got tired of being ignored and walked up to the bar, where we were still ignored. After that we decided simply to leave and get our drinks elsewhere. Likely won't be back.

Love this place, excellent service, friendly host, my daughter loves the food too and the decors. I highly recommend this place for those who are on dates, perfect for those who wants to relax and just have a good time. Not recommended for large group of people.

Stopped in for dinner while in town for business. Jose was a great server (knowledgeable and happy to offer suggestions). The food was fantastic (be sure to try the guacamole). The only criticism is that service was a bit slow. Not a huge deal, I’d visit again when in the area.

Off the Strip on East Flamingo in the Hughes Center. Smartly designed with a beautiful mural. Service was fine. Menu offerings included both seafood, beef and chicken. For the starter I had the Guacamole that was tasty. For my entry, I had the Habanero Shrimp with beef which made it a surf an turf. The entree was okay. I probably would try a different entree if I were to return.

Awesome place for a date night or catching up with friends. First off, Amanda was great and very patient handling our reservation issues because we kept needing to push it back. Then Tony our waiter was extremely friendly and passionate about helping his customers. A fun and lively atmosphere. We tried 4 drinks...the Bandito margarita was a little sour and the watermelon margarita was a little sweet, the michelada and the Change Wango were pretty good. Make sure to the street corn...it was delicious.

Nice place, I regret not coming sooner. The inside is beautiful and during the day, it's filled with sunlight. Staff are friendly, Johnny on the spot. The chips and salsa are really good, a bit salty but is there anything better than warm chips and salt. Maybe bacon. I did the lunch combo with a taco and enchilada. So so good. It was such a beautiful plate, I hated to eat it but it was delicious going down. Definitely will be back.

What a great place! I had the barbacoa tacos and they were fantastic! The restaurant has a great atmosphere to it as well. Great environment to sit, chat, and just hang out. Met a client there for lunch and wouldn't hesitate to go back. We were able to discuss business and not feel rushed to clear out. Definately worth checking out.

Fantastic Mexican food. Tacos were the real winner here. Carne asada taco meat was perfectly cooked. Overall flavor was delightful and the beans and rice were a refreshing take on the Mexican staple. Appetizers weren't 5 stars, but it doesn't matter because the tacos were so good.

The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is wonderful but the food was lacking. My enchiladas didnt taste fresh and didnt come out as hot as they should have, in my opinion. They were chicken enchiladas and the chicken wasnt even wrapped inside (which I understand is a style of presentation for them.) The chicken was also dry. I would recommend the place but not the dish I ordered.

3 Dishes and all were so bland! The service was pretty good but once it got busy our server disappeared. He even had the audacity to tell us he was busy so if we need him “ raise our hand.” How about you come around in a timely manner as a server is supposed to do? I rented out this family owned resturaunt for a large company event. The owners were fantastic to work with, the staff was attentive and seemed genuinely happy, and the food was delicious. Our entire team had a good time and we had great individualized service. I also came in during dinner and had a similarly good experience chatting with regulars at the expansive bar. The one thing to improve is that the far room and patio, while expansive, don't intuitively draw crowds outside, so the front room can get quite crowded. I would highly recommend this as a resturaunt or as a venue for an event.

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here last week. Staff was attentive, and food was very authentic and drinks delicious! Way better than any Mexican on the strip. We had a large party and asked for separate bills ahead of time - but it was not relayed to the server, so cheque time was difficult, but it got sorted. Overall, a great experience. I’d highly recommend!

We had our company holiday party at Bandito last week and it was truly spectacular! From the initial planning of the event to the actual event everything was flawless. Jessica presented such wonderful ideas to us and I am so thankful for everything she did. On the night of the party we were greeted with servers that were so wonderful to all of us. They were attentive and made sure we always had a drink in hand and if not they made sure we did. They were all polite, fun and truly went above and beyond to make our party absolutely perfect! I am stilll getting compliments from co workers, they absolutely said it was some of the best food they’ve ever had and plan to return for lunch and dinner in the very near future!!! Thanks again Bandito for making our holiday party such a HUGE success!!!!

This rating is solely on the service. Made a reservation and was seated promptly. The waiter brought water but no chips to snack on while we waited. I didn’t think anything of it at first. After ordering the appetizer came out about 10 minutes later. Then the wait began. 55 minutes later, after being ignored, I asked when we could expect our meals as we had other plans for the evening. I shouldn’t ever have to ask, the staff should stay on top of this. It wasn’t even busy, other than a couple large parties. It was going into their busy time and you’d think you’d have a proper cooking staff. I then realized everyone else was served chips upon sitting down and asked if we could at least get some since we never got any while we waited. The waiter never really made eye contact and had to ask others running around. Finally the food came to which we received an apology and that we would receive complimentary deserts for our wait. I think the waiter forgot when I asked for a status on our food that we had other planned activities for the evening and simply asked for the check so we wouldn’t miss them. I figure being in a restaurant for two hours was long enough. Before writing this review, I checked the other comments that are months old saying the management would address this with the staff and yet here it is still an issue. The other part that was odd, the bench seating offered little space between our group of 4 and the two parties next to us. Something I’d expect at a buffet but not this type of a restaurant. I will say this, the actual appetizer we ordered was good, the rest was mediocre for the price. Sadly that was the first and last time I’ll go there. I’ve been to too many other places in town that are cheaper, offer better service, and the food is extraordinary. I did receive a reply from management and edited my post based on a typo I made. To answer their question, it was 2/9/19 at 5:15. I don’t remember the server’s name, but honestly it was more than just the server that prompted this review.

The portion size on my burrito was smaller than usual which I personally prefer but others may not. There’s a lot you could do with Latin American food but unfortunately, the menu selection is similar to Taco Bell.

Came in on a whim. Left feeling like this was the best hidden treasure off the strip (and it's not that far off!). Jose was amazing....the fresh guacamole is incredible and they hands down make the best margaritas anywhere!

I had a decent experience while visiting Vegas. I thought the restaurant had a cool atmosphere, cool design. The waiter was hilarious and was trying to give the best service he could, but the restaurant was understaffed, so drinks & food took a while to come out. The portions were quite small for what you pay for. The flavor was okay, but it may be unfair to size it up against the Spanish/Latin cuisine I experience in Texas.

Food was pretty good. Barbacoa tacos were nice, but left a puddle of grease that drowned my plate. The drinks were not at all good. 5 of us ordered mixed drinks. 4 of us sent them back. All 5 of us paid full price. They were bland and didn't seem to contain any actual alcohol. Would have garnered another star if it weren't for the hefty price tag.

Just had the most enjoyable vegetarian meal for our whole 5 day stay in Las Vegas ! Jared was particularly knowlegable and helpful. Recommend the signature corn dish and the La crema Chardonnay. Take the cab or rideshare over here, it's worth it. This place was featured on a food channel and I'll tip my hat to them. I didn't think I could have Mexican food that different. They think outside the box and that's a good thing. Didn't give it a 5 because our server kind of vanished for awhile.

Very good place to eat. About a half mile from the strip and it had it's own free parking lot. Server was very attentive and the food was excellent. The price was fairly inexpensive as well considering all the super high priced places in Vegas. I would highly recommend!

The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, the food is obviously made fresh and done well. But this isn't your dad's Tex-Mex restaurant. There's a stylish twist to everything that makes for a more interesting experience. We came for happy hour when the appetizers were half-price and had a party. Recommended.

First visit yesterday. It was happy hour and the appetizers were 1/2 off. Within the hour a wonderful Spanish Guitarist entertained- that was great! Had the guacamole and chips, chicken quesadilla (a must!!) and queso with slivers of red and yellow peppers- served with small tortillas. All great. But the food- it was so much better than the “Mexican food” with which I am familiar. It was more flavorful and absolutely delicious! I had carne asada enchiladas. Served with just enough rice and (whole) beans and vegetables. Each bite was interesting-great flavor-spice heat level is a self regulated style. Sauces are served on the side. Jose, our waiter, was super. Informative and upbeat-didn’t oversell but his suggestions were true to description. I will go back and take friends. Highly recommended!

I've been here about 2 times & each time has been pretty good. The food is descent. The Mexican food is too "Americanized" for me but it's still passable. The drink though!!!! Ugh I highly recommend the Watermelon Margarita!! Delicious. The staff is fast & efficient. The restaurant is clean & cozy. I would deff check it out for happy hour.

Horrible service. We had a large group tonight for a co-workers going away dinner. Not only did they get my order wrong, but then our waiter tried to convince me that whatever he brought me was better than what I actually ordered and didn't offer to bring what I ordered. He also asked if we would mind if they served our dessert on napkins because they "didn't have enough plates". I'm sorry, but what eating establishment doesn't have enough plates for their guests? The food was subpar at best and definitely not worth the $57/ plate that we paid.

WOW! An absolute must visit while in Vegas! Came out with a group of friends and we had a fantastic time. Food was amazing and drinks were full of taste! Staff was super friendly and very tentative. Bandito's itself is not your ordinary stop owners have put a spin into this place it's full of fun and funk. I love that it's open and you can see the kitchen from the seating/dining area it lets the customer see how fresh everything is being made. We will definitely visit every time we're in Las Vegas!

Absolutely phenomenal. Tony was an amazing waiter, total class act with an incredible, personalized experience. Very attentive and helpful with our no doubt handful of a table. I ordered the brick pressed roasted chicken, and it was fantastic in presentation, execution and flavor. Would highly recommend, and ask for Tony.

Service was amazing! The chicharrones were delicious, came out still popping because they were freshly made. Tacos were really good as well. Octopus tacos were recommended by the server and let me tell you they did not disappoint. The barbacoa was surprisingly amazing! Never had it anywhere else that's got it so well done. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

Awesome restaurant. They have a wonderful and affordable happy hour which let's you taste the best of their creativity. Try the kitchen table where you can see the artists at work. The staff were all very friendly. From hostess to management to chefs. I would love to go back next time I visit. BTW decor is really cool.
