It took me awhile to pick an appetizer and even longer to pick my main meal. As the name indicates, there are twiats to common dishes and it was hard to pick just one. Guess i will need to go back and work my way through the menu. I went on a sunday late afternoon. Wasn't busy when i got there so service was quick and casual. As dinner time came whileni was leaving, it was starting to pick up.

Most seating is very close to the table next to you. It’s like having dinner with complete strangers and hearing every word of their personal conversation. I had a chicken entree and while the wait wasn’t terribly long the chicken came out desert dry and didn’t have mush seasoning. The server was nice and did a good taking care of me. It’s not the worst place in the old market but there are many better. I doubt if I’ll give it another try.

Nice atmosphere, good food, great service. The tea selection is nice and is supplied by Tea Smith. The appetizers we had were very good. I was a little underwhelmed by the chicken fried chicken. The tomato gravy was a little odd, and mashed potatoes were served without any of it. It also included a tiny bowl of cole slaw that just wasn't for me (and also a very small portion). Good place, I think I just ordered the wrong thing. Everyone else's food looked amazing.

I had the Thai salmon salad with peanut sauce dressing...would recommend to order sauce on the side so you can add to your own taste. Recommend to add to your list of places to try... Great service from the waitress but the food served wasn't great. In fact, the sandwich my wife ordered, she thought the meat "smelled old" or maybe it was just how it was prepared. The meat was also really fatty which she picked out. Within a couple of hours she was sick but not for sure if it was the meal she ate that caused her to be sick. The food I ordered was fine even though I requested no tomatoes with my sandwich and it arrived with tomatoes that soaked the bun through. We probably won't be coming back.

Do you live for bacon and Gouda cheese? If so, this place is for you. Nearly everything on the menu is swimming in Gouda cheese sauce, bacon gravy, bacon, or just more Gouda cheese. Old fashioned was overly sweet, practically a Wisconsin old fashioned. Beer list was small, but decently curated. I went for the big crazy twisted burger with thick cut bacon and Gouda cheese. Ordered it medium, but it came well done. Still high quality meat with good flavor, just over cooked and dried out. Nice brioche bun, better than average fresh cut fries, but not crispy enough. Fried pickles and chicken fried bacon were actually the stars of the meal. The bacon was thin cut with a light crispy batter, really a perfect deep fried bacon. Service was good. I'd go back, but only after I tried all the other good looking places around.

Absolutely loved this place! The vibe is warm but modern and the food is SO delicious! Service was good too. I had the meatloaf and mac which was amazing and the grilled vegetables had such good flavor as well. We had wings as an appetizer and they were seasoned so well and the buffalo sauce was great. Oh, and of course the desserts were good, it's sugar. Lol Highly recommend!

Atmosphere was very appealing and we wanted try something different for being out of town. Sadly the food was underwhelming and our drinks were messed. It took almost 15mins for our server to finally get us water when we arrived. Sad to say I would not recommend this place.

I cam in for a drink at the bar. There is one other group at the bar with full drinks and it took me 10 min to get a drink. The drink was good and the price was reasonable. However if this is the level of service when they are dead on a Wednesday afternoon, I hate to think of the horrible service that would be given on a Friday night!

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat! Pleasantly surprised that they served brunch until 2pm! Had the Avocado Toast which was very good. Service was friendly, not super fast but thorough! Atmosphere is very cowboy modern and eclectic. Menu is varied and offers something for everyone including vegan and gluten-fee options if requested.

I had bigger expectations for this place. On another night, it might have been great but our waitress was part of the issue. Not very friendly and didn't bother to clear the appetizer plates before bringing out the entree. She didn't seem very happy to help us. Chicken fried chicken ws ws good. Meatloaf was way overdone, gouda mac n cheese was good. Drinks were good too.

We stopped in here when we were looking for a place to eat before a concert at the arena. We had never heard of it before but it looked fun so we took a chance and we were glad we did. The place had a fun atmosphere and decor. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was great. We plan to come back with friends sometime soon when we have more time to enjoy their wine and bar menus as well.

Service was okay but the food took a long time to come. We had mini burgers, hot roast beef, Mac and cheese, soup, and meatloaf. None of the food was spectacular and was barely warm when it arrived. The next day both my and my father were sick and it ruined much of our day at the Omaha zoo. Definitely do not recommend.

Went to have a nice laid-back lunch with a cocktail. Staff was friendly and did well with a fairly full house. I ordered the meatloaf and Mac and was blown away by the Gouda Mac. The meatloaf had some excellent spices and seasonings in it. The cocktail I had was called the noose and was poured in a very generous looking Glass. I'm looking forward to showing this place of to my sisters fo lunch.

The service was good. Our server was attentive and personable and we didn't wait too long for our food or drinks. Unfortunately, the food was less than desirable. The parmesan steak sandwich was very bland, as was the meatloaf. The mac n cheese was tasty, but not enough to carry the whole meal. It was disappointing but I wasn't actually irritated until dessert. I ordered the pear apple crisp. What I received was baked fruit with ice cream. There was no crisp! The shortbread crumbles were missing. All in all, I don't think I'll be back. The prices would be fair if the food was good, but this was enough of a let down that I won't be trying it again.

They even have PB&J on the kids' menu, which I have never seen at a restaurant where they also have such good adult food before. I would recommend them if you are looking for good food at a good price, especially if you have little kids.

Cowboy style versions of comfort foods in the Old Market area of Omaha. Indoor and covered outdoor seating. Very busy. Good drink selection. Simple menu with different takes on homestyle favorites. Reservations are a good idea. I had the chicken, which was pretty good. Wanted to try the loaded tater tots but wasn't hungry enough.

We are in Omaha for an event today. We asked what cuisine is Omaha known for...everyone said steaks lmao. Funny it true I guess...so we googled a local place. We found the twisted fork. The menu looked awesome. My brother and I had the pitchfork meatloaf that comes with veggies...mash potatoes and gouda mac and cheese. it. Was delicious and a large portion. The mrs had a salmon skillet that was part of their brunch menu which they serve until 2 pm on Saturday. They also have a well priced and stocked bloody mary bar until 2. All and all a great place to eat great service and the owner checked in several times to make sure we were ok. He even came to our table for a bit to debate whether a hot dog was a sandwich or not. He actually had a good answer...you will have to ask him about it. When you visit this great place!

This might be the best happy hour I've ever been to. Excellent house cabernet for $4. We also ordered the onion rings, "handmade to order" and accompanied by "seasoned sour cream." We expected two or three onion rings for $5. Instead we got a STACK of giant rings. They were fresh. The coating was crisp. They were flavorful. Delicious! The sour cream had just a hint of a kick to it. Great value! Great service! Great food!

Twisted Fork is a comfortable place to dine on comfort type food with a bit of an upscale flare. The craft beer selection is slim but adequate. The decor is unique from the old world chandeliers to the wood carved animal heads and mirror frames. The bar is complete and well stocked. Lastly, the staff was very friendly. Prices were reasonable and ranged from the low teens up to $29 for an excellent rib eye. Yes, it was a bit pricey but the size and taste was excellent. And we enjoyed dessert from a choice of 4 items. The Molten chocolate cake was a tad small and the scoop of ice cream served on top was larger than the cake, but very good. The s’mores brownie sundae was quite larger and enjoyed just as much.

The food was good and our food came out quickly. The atmosphere was nice. We were going to sit outside but people were smoking nearby so we chose to sit inside. They lost a star for the poor customer service from our waitress. She had scowl on her face the whole time, and was borderline rude. They lost another star for the portion size. I got the pot pie and it would have been enough to fill me on an average day. If I came very hungry I would have left hungry still.

Haven't had that amazing pork chop in years. Perfect! So juicy, and rightly cooked. Even the asparagus were amazing. The beer waiter suggested was beautiful too. I recommend the place if you are looking for a nice romantic evening( they have patio in howard street in old market, which is romantically lit) or a beer night with your buddies.

I got the gouda pork chop and let me tell you. The first bite went to my soul! The meat was deliciously juicy and savory! The glaze was the perfect pair to the pork chop as well. My mashed potatoes were a bit cold but I throughly enjoyed my meal otherwise.

To the owner, this is in continuation of the review by Natalie. The charge was in my name (Husain Umrethwala) on 21 Sep around 10 PM. Just because you are a small time vendor does not give you a right to make fake receipts and falsify signatures. I have the correct receipt copy with me showing $58 but my card shows $110, when I disputed you guys created a new receipt and put my sign on it. Such cheats, the credit card company has already refunded my money after I showed them the evidence that the time the receipt was printed I was at the casino, but I just wanted everyone to know what kind of cheats you guys are.

Came here for lunch on a weekday, reasonably busy but no wait to be seated. Server was very friendly and keep our drinks topped off. Split the chicken fried bacon appetizer, so good! Husband enjoyed the meatloaf and Mac and cheese. My hot roast beef plate was delicious!! We'll definitely be back!
