I like eating here and have been quite a bit. The chicken tenders appetizer is good. Everything I've had on the menu is good and has decent portion sizes. The blackened salmon Alfredo is tasty! The service is hit or miss. I've been times and received excellent service and other times and it is fair to poor. Most of the times it was fair to poor was during the lunch hours. I've also received great service during dinner. I'd recommend you try this place!

First visit, hungry, without reservation, Saturday evening, crowded; friendly, efficient hostess found me a very hard, wooden seat at the bar. Menu was casual to somewhat upscale - interesting. Bar keep/wait staff was very busy, but always checked to see if I needed anything, friendly, helpful. Food - salmon basket, fries, slaw - was surprisingly good and flavorful with attention to details. Had a difficult time resisting several tempting desserts, but I did. A very pleasant (except for the hard wooden seat) experience; I will return with reservation and my foodie lady friend.

I have an hour for lunch. I came here on Wednesday 6-26 with my daughter about 12:25. The hostess says I will be with you in a minute so she can finish her private conversation with a friend. When she was done, she said she will wait for a table to be cleaned. Then decides to put us at a table that was already empty and waiting. She gives us silverware & menus. We wait & wait.. 20 minutes. No one is even paying any attention at all. No eye contact anything...our lunch is passing by & we didn't even have a drink. So we left. Very disappointed! Ruined our day! P.S. there were at least 3 waitresses in our area waiting on other tables...

Met my parents for lunch on a Friday. It wasn't too crowded, and the service was a little slow. I ordered the roasted turkey cobb salad, and it was quite delicious and perfectly sized portion. My parents both got burgers and said they were tasty as well. All in all I would recommend!

A nice space with great wait staff. We were seated promptly. A good choice of selections. Had the Reuben with coleslaw. My reason four a four star was that the Reuben was made with light rye while I prefer dark, with caraway seeds. The slaw was quite good and fresh.

Beautiful interior and great location. But the food is what really matters, and it was blan, underseasoned, and over-priced. They also did not appear to cook with high quality ingredients, maybe saving money is more important to the management than making great food. No one there asked how our food was, so they must know its not great. Try another spot and save the disappointment.

Mixed feelings. The food was good except for the burnt part of the lasagna. We got sat in the furthest booth. No problem over then maybe out of sight out of mine. Husband ordered a beer came back with a glass of wine she said he ordered. Then a littler later drink came and his again yet he had only had a sip. Then appetizer came and we ate and she finally came back for dinner order. Dinner gMe no salad not until the point in the picture did anyone ( not waitress) come and ask us how things where. And we had to mention the salad. After that the waitress seemed to want to avoid eye contact. So make sure you are seated front and center or might get bad service.

With so many choices for appetizers or a meal, I did some research and chose your establishment to celebrate my 54th Birthday on March 13th. I met my friend at 2:30 for cocktails and apps before a local show. Never got either one. The bartender (or lack thereof) was extremely rude. She made us feel like it was a nusance that we were even there, and we were the ONLY one's in the lounge area. When asked a simple question regarding the house wine, she made it blatantly clear to us that we were bothering her. My friend finished his cocktail and we chose to find somewhere else to eat where we were made to feel welcome. Really Bad Vibes, and The Worst First Impression Ever! I hope her day got better, I know mine did. I won't be returning and don't recommend it Beacon Hills at all.

I was so excited to try the jalapeño French toast with mango habanero syrup. However, our waiter informed us that they were fresh out of that syrup and we would be receiving maple instead. A bit of a disappointment, but it still seemed like it would pair nicely. To our surprise our French toast arrived with mango habanero syrup that the chef prepared just for us! Our meal was delicious and the service impeccable. For the very minor inconvenience of the syrup snafu we we’re given half off our meal. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, but there aren’t enough stars in the known universe to represent how highly I’d rate Beacon Hills.

Hard to earn a five star from me but they did it. I called ahead and made reservations, same day, for six. Seated as soon as we arrived. Staff was attentive and charming. They laughed along with us as we worked our way through their menu. The food was a mixed review from our table but I won't criticize the food I did not taste myself. I ordered the Prime Sandwich with Hot German Potato Salad. Excellent combination. Still full from lunch I had no intention of eating the whole thing (but I did). Fresh ingredients with a good balance in flavor they knocked it out of the park. We will definitely be back.

This American-style restaurant is located right in the middle of Aksarben, near Stinson Park. The decor inside of the building is very nice - there is a nice bar and decorations throughout. Large parties can make reservations and the staff are very accommodating. The food is very good; the menu has a wide variety of options from burgers to seafood to sandwiches. There are also a bunch of great appetizers (I recommend the polenta fries!). The staff are very courteous and helpful, and my overall experience in the restaurant was great. I definitely plan on going back soon!

This is a great scratch restaurant! I've only been a few times and the food has been delicious! I had an issue my first visit, but they had just opened and I'm going to blame it on inexperience. Staff is friendly and the wait for food is tolerable. Slow on the first visit (again .. they were new) and a little on the 2nd, but I was with a group of 6. I will definitely keep going back!

Ordered the baked brie plate to start (everything paired so well together), and then indulged in some salmon alfredo penne pasta with a side salad, and Asian peanut chicken with fried rice and a side salad. The food at Beacon Hills is always outstanding. We have eaten here often enough that we've been able to sample a large part of the menu. We can't think of a dish that we've ordered that wasn't at least above average. Most are better than that, with some of their unique preparations really standing out. You'll find a broad range of items on the menu. Find something that sounds good at the time and order it knowing that it will be a wonderful meal. The service can be a little erratic, depending on who your server is. This is what warrants the four star rating instead of five. That said, the staff is generally friendly and attentive and the overall dining experience is always worthwhile. The patio outside is a great place for dinner and/or drinks in the evening. We've never had lunch here, but would like to try it sometime. Beacon Hills remains one of our favorite Omaha area restaurants.

We had to wait a bit but, dinner and drinks were good. Only downfall is don't use the restroom. Clean but, the toilets are literally about 12 inches off the ground. I had to fall down to sit. Can't imagine how anyone with any issues at all gets down there gracefully.

The baked potato was very filling, but nothing special as far as taste is concerned. That's probably because I've been spoiled by the baked potatoes served at Texas Roadhouse though with the bacon bits and seasoning. I should've gotten the bun for my burger toasted because it got soggy too quick. It wasn't too bad as far as the taste goes though. The lemonade wasn't cold at all so I had to get ice which I don't like doing because I don't want it to get watered down. It tasted alright, but not as good as the two previous times I ate there. My lady is hooked on one of their chicken sandwiches which is the only reason that we've been there three times in the past 2-3 months. The previous time, the waitress never checked to see how we liked our food, but last night it seemed like the waiter was stalking us with how constantly we were asked if everything was alright for whatever that may be worth.

Great wings, salad was limp and not fresh. They always ask how you want your burger cooked but there burgers are too thin to cook to temp. All the burgers are always cooked to same temp, well done. That's not to say they are bad. They are quite good, just seems a little silly to me to ask if they're gonna cook them all the same anyway. Steak was way over cooked and dry. Ordered medium. It was well beyond well done. Extremely dry and flavorless. Waitress never came back to see how food was or to refill drinks. But like I stated with, the wings were amazing.

The environment was very cozy! The menu is full of exciting pairings. The food was a mix (not a burger or steak place). They have a bit of everything. Crab Rangoon for app & was awesome. I had turkey avacado sandwich which was excellent. Wife played it safe & just got a burger. She said it wasn't anything special. The cocktails were par. (Ordered a beer for my second). Overall good experience & will be back. Big conference room or private area for parties will appeal to some. Nice big projector! Forgot to get pics. Just try it. It is worth it.

Beacon Hills is one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of eating at. They have some of the friendliest, and most proficient servers in the industry. I've become a frequent customer of their weekend brunch menu. I've constantly recommended them to all my friends. **insiders tip** Beacon Hills is a great spot for lunch, dinner and brunch, it's the comfortable family atmosphere, I think. But you have to try the Fried Salmon basket and swap the coleslaw for the house salad. The salmon is decadent and unxious, and the salad with the house dressing is bright, crisp, and flavorful; an always and forever favorite!

I came with a group of girlfriends for happy hour. The food overall was a bit hit and miss, but we only sampled the happy hour food. The best things in my opinion were the Brie plate and the wontons which had an amazing sauce. Big portion sizes. Our waitress was super surly which really dampened our whole experience. I get that people have bad days, but we were all really friendly and it didn't help.

First time going here and we wont be going back. Server came and took our drink order and didnt come back for over 25 minutes. We got up and left. Only 6 other tables were seated inside and of those 4 of them were done eating, so it wasn't slammed. Our server would go and talk to the other tables multiple times but wouldn't come back to our table at all. If it were busy we would understand but the server was terrible.

The decor and atmosphere, the service, and even the cocktails all indicate a restaurant filled with people who truly care.
