I hired Patty and her crew to cater a senior recital and graduation event. The appetizers and desserts we ordered were perfect! The crew showed up on time and did a beautiful job with the set up and presentation, and were kind and courteous servers. We were very happy with the experience. I will definitely consider hiring Simply Delicious again.

We have used Simply Delicious on many different occasions including our wedding and many social dance parties we run for our dance studio. Although your may have to wait to get responses via phone or email from Patty, the wait is definitely worth it. She is one of the busiest caterers in Springfield, so there is a chance that communication will be delayed, especially during wedding season. Even so, Simply delicious is my favorite caterer to use for both personal and professional events. Whether you want something simple or something extravagant, Patty knows how to make excellent food that is certain to amaze your guests. My favorite thing about Patty is her dedication to the artistic side of her culinary prowess. She is not your average cook. Routinely attending conventions and meetings across the nation keeps her up to date with the latest trends in food and presentation. In an area that tends to be at least 5 years behind the rest of the nation, this is a welcome change and the skills she continually develops is sure to impress almost everyone. I highly recommend Simply delicious for all of your catering needs and I honestly believe that any wait you may experience is a small price to pay for the quality you will receive.

We used Simply Delicious to cater our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception as well as for our wedding cake. I cannot say enough great things about Patty and her team. Patty was extremely organized and helpful during the planning stages, and there was always someone ready to answer our questions. We received many compliments throughout the evening regarding the food and cake at our wedding as it was beyond delicious! Thank you Patty!

I have attempted to use this place for a catering event, no call back from the owner. I have gone in the restaurant, and it takes forever just to get my order taken and then even longer to get tabbed out. I tried to call to get an Easter Brunch reservation, and they do not even answer the phone. I have no idea what the fascination is with this place based on the unsatisfactory and somewhat horrible service they provide.

I chose Simply Delicious as my wedding caterer, and the Diamond Room as my reception venue. Patti and her staff made me feel confident that our reception would run smoothly - and it did. One of Patti's strengths is customizing menu items that fit into a specific budget. Her food is unique and truly delicious! We recommend: cold fruit soup shots, sweet and savory potato bar, meatballs, large fruit and veggie display, peppadew peppers, bacon wrapped smokies. Simply Delicious also made our wedding cake to feed 150, and mini cupcakes in unlimited flavors to feed the rest of our guest! We received SEVERAL compliments on the food and venue. Well done, Simply Delicious!

We hosted a birthday party and Simply Delicious made the event so easy from the beginning planning to the night of the event. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The food was flavorful and all the guests were impressed. The room is very cozy for a small gathering. We couldn't be more pleased with party. I would highly recommend them for your next event. I'm really sad to give Simply Delicious such a low rating, because Patty is a lovely and talented person. I had high expectations for my wedding day, because working with Patty up until that day was great. The tasting she provided for us blew us away! Communication was easy, too. She even made me some sample macaroons because I wanted them as a favor, but they cost too much so I decided against them. They were so good, though! Everything seemed right until the day of the wedding. I was very disappointed because we paid almost $4,000 to Simply Delicious, yet neither Patty nor her assistants, Bobby or Nikki, were there to oversee the event. The only Simply Delicious employees that were there seemed like they were high school age, and they had no idea what was going on. We had food stations, and Patty and I talked about having them set up around the venue so people could walk around and mingle while getting their food. Instead, it was buffet style, which is what I wanted to avoid, and not at all what Patty made it seem like it would be. Each dish had several specific toppings that the guests could add, but none of that was explained so they went through they line, which made it confusing. The presentation of the food was nothing like we had talked about and I was very disappointed. I will say that is tasted very good, though! Additionally, the kids in charge of my wedding served the cake and told the guests it was banana. Who has banana for a wedding cake flavor? It was vanilla almond. So frustrating. On top of that, we had a champagne toast in which we offered alcoholic and nonalcoholic champagne. This was very important because we have some family is who very against drinking alcohol. The servers didn't offer a choice, instead they just passed it all out randomly. So, some guests that wanted the real champagne got sparkling juice, and vice versa. I feel like many of these problems could have been avoided if Patty, Bobby, or Nikki would have been there. But apparently 4K isn't enough to have them oversee a wedding. Like I said, Patty is a talented person, but I think she is taking on too much business and it's affecting the quality of her services. I think her food is amazing which is why there's so much hype for Simply Delicious. But if you want your wedding to be perfect, don't believe it.

Outstanding communication. Simply Delicious (Patty and crew) made our Open House for our new building so special. The food was not only displayed beautifully, it was delicious! The bleu cheese stuffed meatballs with chipotle raspberry sauce were to die for! And the dessert trays--yum. We were asked many times who catered the event as the food was so spectacular. Staff did a great job taking care of everything. Food plentiful and I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the bill was for all we received. Highly recommended!!!! The food was delicious, however due to an error on the quote, that listed the prices for a "whole keg" that were actually the prices for a 1/2 keg, there was a $300 difference in their favor - based on what my mom thought she was ordering. This is an easy mistake to fix but my mom said Patty denied her request for a refund. My mom is literally the sweetest person I know and the fact that she was treated like that is beyond just "poor customer service" it implies poor business ethics and understanding of business law. I have just left a message requesting to speak with Patty to get this whole thing sorted out, before her error results in over draft charges. Based on other reviews it is very hard to get in contact with her..... Lets see. Will post update. Less than one hour from leaving the message I got a call from a very professional and friendly woman named Brooke who promptly and sincerely apologized and had started the $300 transfer by the end of the call. So turns out they are human and make the occasional error.... The ability to admit that and make it right is what makes a business excellent

I want to start out by saying this is the second wedding we used simply delicious catering, and the food for both was wonderful. When my oldest daughter married 6 years ago Patty's policy was not to let you have the leftover food:( however when my youngest married 2 weeks ago I was thrilled to find out her policy had changed and we were going to get to keep the leftovers.yay, as the mother of the bride you barely get to sit down much less eat , but I thought this time I was going to get to eat the food once the wedding was over and I was at home and could slow down and enjoy it. That was not the case, we were supposed to get the leftovers(if you brought your own containers) but Patty's staff packed up all the food and left with it, I had now idea they left. Patty prides herself on saying she's makes sure no one goes home hungry, but one of the groomsmen asked for more food and was told it was packed on the truck already. (I did not know this happened until 2 days after the wedding.) The venue owner also asked them to make more tea because it was all gone and was told it was all the way at the front of the truck and couldn't get it. Again I want to say the food was great and my guests said it was some of the best food they have ever had at a wedding, too bad I never got to eat any of the wonderful food I payed for:(

Had them cater a "traditional" Christmas dinner of turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potato, gravy, and cranberry salad. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Could not be more happy with everything.

This place always comes up as Simply Delicious Catering, but it's a restaurant called Fork & Spoon inside a Knights of Columbus building. It's one of my favorite places to eat lunch in Springfield. Good Food. Reasonable prices. Friendly service and you just might see the Chef.

I need a Thesaurus to properly express to you how wonderful Simply Delicious was at our Oktoberfest event last October. The food was fantastic. People were amazed at how good it was. The sliders, the sauerkraut fritters, the charcuterie board were so impressive but no doubt the authentic Black Forest cake took the night. Their cake baker knocked it out of the park! Patty has such wonderful ideas and so anxious to help make the event fun and memorable and Allison and Nathan were so helpful and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend Simply Delicious catering service.

Patty was a dream to work with. From the first tasting to the reception itself..we knew were at the right place. She is so knowledgeable and professional. As a chef, she has wonderful ideas, and is so helpful in suggesting food that meets your wedding theme. Her food is beautiful, as well. Our dinner reception was perfect..food was exactly as planned, and piping hot at serving time. Patty and her team were so professional and accomodating to our guests. Highly recommend! (We recommend the smoked pork and brisket-outstanding!)

The food tasted great but the day of the wedding the portions were half of what we were given at the tasting and the service was HORRIBLE. The staff was slow and half of the guests were done eating before the rest even got their food! I only recommend Simply Delicious if you need catering for a smaller party or event but definitely not a wedding especially of more than 150.

As far as I am concerned there is only one catering company in Springfield and that is Simply Delicious. First, I would like to say the food is delectable! Not only was our main entree amazing and filling, but the butlered appetizers were a huge hit! And don't get me started on their cake and mini desserts. However, the food wasn't all that was pleasant - Patty and her staff were professional and over the top to assist with the entire event. What impressed me the most was Patty's passion for her business - I wasn't a dollar sign to her, she was truly invested in making sure I was taken care of and satisfied. It was difficult to contact her on weekends (though I know she was busy with other events) - I found the best way to communicate with her was email. Hands down best experience! Thanks for making our event special and memorable.

After trying to make a few microbreweries in town work out for my birthday party, we went back to what we know best! Patty has catered and hosted one of our daughter's wedding receptions and will cater another this Fall. She has served our church functions many times too. It was splendid! The space was perfect for our "German" them and accommodated a band, kids dancing and playing shuffleboard, bar drinks, and more. And of course the appetizers and meal were tasty and yummy too. They had a great wait staff as well and we loved the bartender! Thanks for making it care-free planning for us! We feel like she always treats us "special". Thanks Patty!

This is the second year we have used Simply Delicious for our USA Dance Christmas Ball. We had the Chicken and Ham rolls ala Swiss and the Balsamic Beef this year. Both were delicious! But what made Simply Delicious outstanding was the staff. Richard was there for the entire setup and during the event and was a pleasure to work with the entire time as well as the other staff. Justin, the lead server during the event made sure everything was just right. All of the contact we had prior to the event was via email. All the planning and exchange of documents was completed this way. It made it very efficient. Shelley was very prompt in addressing every email we sent. Thank you all for contributing to a wonderful night!

The only thing I can positively say about Simply Delicious is that their food tasted good. Other than that, I can't say anything positive. The communication is terrible. It takes a day or two to get a response. I was told two weeks before the wedding that they could not find my deposit so I had to pay $500 and was reassured IF my original deposit was found they wouldn't deposit it. I mostly dealt with her assistant and was told that whatever food was left over would be boxed up for us to take home-since we paid by the piece. The day of my wedding, the two staff that worked played on their cell phones and one ended up being extremly rude to a guest at the wedding which happened to be one of my good friends. They also took all of the food with them which I am sure ended up in the fridges at home. Yes they took ALL of the food with them even after I had been told they would box it up and the staff there even told my husband that they would do that for us. When I tried to contact Patty to let her know I was unhappy with my experience, I got no response. Because I was not given the courtesy of a response, I have decided to leave a review. Had I been given some sort of an apology, I would have left well enough alone. Please don't use them.

Simply Delicious catered a brunch and the dessert bar for our wedding in April 2015, and my only regret is not having someone hold back a few of the mini-desserts for me because they were all gone in a flash! My personal favorite from brunch was the to-die-for creme brulee french toast, but everything was delicious and enjoyed by all!

Patty and the Simply Delicious team have this whole process down to a science. In our first meeting with head Chef Patty, she was well prepared and even created a menu with us then and there. You can tell how much experience Patty has in the business and through every step she was flexible to any changes and requests. Of all the things to worry about in planning a wedding, the food was one of the things we worried about the least. We knew we were in good hands. We got so many compliments on the food from our guests, and I'm so happy we decided to have Simply Delicious cater our wedding!

My family has used Patty and her team from Simply Delicious for many events, but I am sad to say I was very disappointed with them. They catered my wedding and the plates that were served to my groom and me were cold and not enjoyable to eat. We had met with Patty for a tasting and the food was great and we had mentioned that after the wedding the we would like an extra dinner plate to go so we could eat something later when we got to our hotel. When it was time the cook said there wasn't any food left? I had 8 guests not show for the wedding so there should have been 8 dinner plates extra but like I said before the cook said there wasn't anything left? My mother did end up calling Patty and we were able to get a refund. I'm glad my guests enjoyed their meals, but my groom and I will remeber that we did not. They also did our wedding cake and the flavors of the cake were bland and not very good, but the decoration and look of the cake they did do a job on.

My sorority held its formal at the Diamond Room and used Simply Delicious catering with the taco/nacho bar and the pasta bar and both were extremely tasty! The service was great and everyone was extremely helpful. Chef Patty was a blessing, and I would recommend to anyone!
