We used Phil to cater our office Christmas party that was hosted at our house. From the moment he arrived we knew we had made the right decision. We expected a quick set up with metal pans and typical catering equipment but what we received was an elaborate display of culinary excellence. Phil turned an ordinary event into a first class experience. The wide array of food options made it easy to please an entire crowd and the quality of food was amazing. When we were finished he packed up the remainder of the food, cleaned up and left our house just the way he found it. It was incredibly easy to communicate with him before and during the party and he was prompt and friendly the entire time. If you are considering a caterer I would save yourself some time and call Phil. You won’t be disappointed...

Phil is spectacular! I wanted to write this review to better paint the picture of Phil, The Happy Chef, and his services. First of all, what a great personality! His friendliness and eagerness to accommodate requests was exceptional, and I took note (and want to share with you) a sincere care I noticed in him in his clients. I saw that genuine care in him! Along the same lines, I noticed - in the planning stages with him - places where he actually worked to cut the costs and save money to me, recommending that I not spend more money with him for things he saw unnecessary. He could have easily promoted specific extra services/features and yet he encouraged me to not do those because they weren't needed for the reception. Wow! Phil, I want others to know about this! In the sampling session, I had it at his amazing and beautiful Ozark, MO catering showcase and, let me tell you, this place is so nice with a mix of at-home comfort and class. Very warm and welcoming, yet very professional. He made a generous amount to sample and, my, did it all taste oh-so-good! My wife (fiance at the time) and I had a hard time deciding what to get because it was all so delicious. Eventually, we had to dramatically downsize to just a fruit station and smores station instead of the meal, and yet Phil showed us so much kindness and support despite losing so much potential money and changing the contract. We are so glad that Phil got to be a part of our wedding! His work/service was unparalleled and he really wants to work with you to keep your prices low! Your wedding is MUCH more than spending thousands and thousands on stuff like food, and should be focused and accented by more important things. Hire Phil to help you do that and it will be budget with great excellence, beauty, quality, care, and FLAVOR!!!!

Absolutey loved the food! Phil catered at my wedding near Branson a few weeks ago, and I was thrilled with the meal. We had a pasta bar with breadsticks and salad, along with gluten free mac & cheese for a few kids. He was friendly, prompt, and his prices were low. I'd reccomend him to anyone.

I used Happy Chef Catering for my wedding a year ago and people still talk about the food. We wanted something that reflected us and our laid back country theme. Phil knocked it out of the park with his amazing barbecue, potato salad and baked beans. Fast forward a year later to my daughter getting married. My husband and I suggested she and her fiance' do a tasting with Phil. They had some food allergies to work around and Phil did it again - creating an incredible meal which met all food allergy issues and was simply AMAZING and budget friendly. If you want a caterer to simply "do the food" at your event, they are a dime a dozen - if you want incredible service and food that makes a statement - Phil with Happy Chef is your man! You will not be disappointed! We will be using Happy Chef at our next event without a second thought! Thank you Phil for making BOTH our special days extra special!
