Very unprofessional company! At first, they never called me back after leaving several voicemails. Finally, someone answered the phone and we scheduled a meeting to see a venue and go over food options for our son's 1st birthday. Never the less, she never showed up. I should have known better. Very unreliable company and waste of my time. And if as planing special event is not stressful enough. If you want less headache, try someone else. Catering St. Louis is not worth your time or money!

We've used Erker Catering for many years and always have had a wonderful experience whether the event was a large house party, reception, or small dinner party. The guests are well cared for, the presentation is professional, and kitchen is spotless when the staff leaves. Food is delicious and tastes fresh and home-cooked. We would hesitate to use any other caterer.

The Boathouse in Forest Park is really poorly managed. I find the management staff is rude not only to their workers but at times to people who are trying to voice a complaint. Servers have always been very nice and the food good but service is slow due to under staffing

We had our wedding at the Botanical Gardens recently and were really impressed with the service we got! Starting with our coordinator (Bailey), she was easy to work with and handled all of the details we charged her with and was very helpful during the planning. The serving staff was excellent, they were very attentive both for the bridal party as well as the rest of the guests (and they paid special attention to us to make sure we could eat and drink even at our busiest moments). The drinks were good, the bartenders knew what they were doing and made some good cocktails even with all of the demand. Finally, the food deserves a special callout as it was incredible. All the appetizers were exactly as remembered during the tasting, and the two dinner courses were phenomenal. A special shout out to the vegetarian option (which was a chef's choice, so we did not have a say in selecting it) - all of our friends and family who had this option raved about it and their words were backed up by their clean plates. We had a great experience with them and would definitely recommend.

We just had our wedding at City Cottage on Chouteau and could not have been happier with the service and the event. We worked with Joanna Lane, who was amazing to work with! She always got back to me right away and made sure the night was perfect!! If I could do it over again, I would 100% still book this location and catering company. The food was incredible and our guests had a fabulous time.

This company is AWFUL to work with! First of all, it was so hard to get a hold of them to plan an event with them and on top of that once we did get a hold of them and scheduled an appointment (to see the boat house in forest park for our sons first birthday) no one ever showed up!!! What a waste of time they are, it's unfortunate that they work with so many venues!

This should be zero stars for the abysmal service we received. Catering St.Louis thinks they are superior to all else and they are actually far inferior to all other wedding caterers we have experienced. The bride and wedding party were served last which was a cold plate of mush. Guests were complaining and the servers seemed to be on their first shift of their career. Unfortunately we saw the venue "the gardens of malmaison" and were hooked, and with that came the disastrous Catering St.Louis. We have been to many many events and this was by far the worst food, and service we have experienced. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your dining services. Do not use catering St. Louis if you wish to enjoy your meal and have decent service. Deplorable!

We had an event we needed to produce for a major client. Catering St. Louis provided us with the perfect venue. They were extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. When the event night rolled around, it went flawlessly. The food was great, the bartenders were fast and friendly, and we couldn't have been happier. We will definitely be using Catering St. Louis again.

We booked Catering St Louis for our ceremony at the Botanical Gardens. Through them we have experienced nothing but a lack of professionalism and horrible communication. Extremely disappointed that this horrible of service comes with a beautiful venue. I wouldn’t reccomend this company to anyone.

We booked our company holiday party with Catering St. Louis at the Garden Glow at the Botanical Gardens last year. We worked with Katie and everything went flawlessly. The food and drink were amazing. Our employees loved it so much that this year we are booking again this year. 5 stars all the way.

We had a great experience with Catering St. Louis. We hired them for our wedding reception. Our event planner Joanna was great to work with and she took care of everything promptly before and during our event. Short ribs were cooked to perfection and we did not even notice the serving staff because they were always around to take care of everything in such a smooth and timely manner. We had a very memorable evening thanks to the owner, Joanna, chef and all the staff.

I rarely write reviews unless I absolutely love something or feel the need to warn others but this circumstance proved necessary. Unfortunately, from the moment I talked to a person at Catering St. Louis until I decided to give up my dream-wedding venue (The Inns at St. Albans) because of Catering St. Louis, things went from bad to abysmal. I worked with Catering St. Louis and found that many of the ways they do their business are less than customer service driven and tend to prove beneficial not to the couple and family on their special day but simply to make money. Not being from St. Louis originally, I had never tried their food or been to any event they hosted. Therefore, I kindly asked (as most people would do before writing a $3,000 check), to try their food. The food was mediocre at best AND she wanted to charge me $150.00 for the tasting because I asked to do it before 5 months out. Well, according to many people, 5 months before your wedding is not when you want to find out the food is bad or the catering company can just push a price that they choose out of thin air on you. But, to my surprise, they were rude, totally unaccommodating, and annoyed that I had asked. In fact, emails went back and forth before I told them I was coming either way lol. Then, after that, they REFUSED to give me any price per person. Well, most companies have the info front and center for their clients and they would not tell me what I was paying for until again, 5 months out. Not to mention, the woman that runs “sales” didn’t sell a thing, didn’t want to, and pretty much told me they felt inconvenienced by my request. At this point, I asked to speak to a manager and/or boss. All I wanted was reassurance that all would be okay and that things would be handled better from here. However, when Mr. Erker (the owner) called he was rude, and pretty much told me he (in 35 years) which I doubt, has never had an issue. The way he made me feel, I decided it was best to go elsewhere. If anyone wants to use this company going forward be aware that they could care less about your excitement or desire to have an amazing wedding and simply want to work with you only because they have exclusivity on certain area venues. Because of this, they feel no need to impress you, make your day special, or work with you at all. Just thought others should know my AWFUL experience with their entire organization.

The entire Catering St Louis team is amazing! This April we had our rehearsal dinner at City Cottage, the ceremony at Jewel Box and wedding reception at Forest Park Visitor Center and everything was SO beautiful and delicious!! The entire team was so attentive and friendly and professional. Can't say enough good things about CSL - they helped get my daughter and son-in-law's marriage off on the right start - the rest is up to them!

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE!! We wanted to have our wedding at Missouri Botanical Gardens and after calling Catering St. Louis and leaving about 5 voice mails they got back to us and said that they will call us back with additional information but then they NEVER DID (not the greatest quality when you are relaying on someone to plan the most important day of your life). The lady I spoke on the phone with was not knowledgable about any of their offerings. Needless to say, we did not have our wedding at the Botanical Gardens since this is the only caterer Botanical Gardens works with unfortunately. SAVE YOUR SELF TIME AND MONEY, we are so glad that it works out and that we didn't have to give this company our money. There are many wonderful caterers in St. Louis that are eager to provide excellent customer service! AVOID Catering St. Louis if possible!

Absolute perfection! We had our annual corporate holiday party catered by Catering St. Louis and the 135 people that attended were all extremely impressed. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
