As you know, we do not usually bother to write scores when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Catering belongs to the category of Barbecue restaurant.
Super fast service, great food.
Definitely a MUST GO! The pulled pork sandwich was amazing, and the ribs are hunting my dreams ever since! Had baked beans and fire & ice pickles for sides, and they were delicious too! Can't wait to go back!
So good, it was awesome! Especially the ribs and pastrami! Glad we chose this bbq joint over all the rest. The one requirement I was looking for was how was it being served: baskets and styrofoam, means they're keeping it real! LOL Focusing on what matters most, the food! Love it!!! Thanks guys!
Bogarts Catered Lunch for our team at work. Every aspect was five stars. The food if off the charts delicious, and the friendly service put Bogarts over the top. The Pulled Pork and brisket were perfect, and the sides were hearty and filling. We will most definitely be ordering a Catered lunch again. Thank You Emir!!
A must. Great service. Casual Environment. Pepsi and Fitz products are the beverage choices. Single serving sides are $2.50. Regular sandwiches with 2 sides start at $9.75. Plates with 2 sides start at $12.75. My date and I had the beef brisket plate with 2 sides, Pit Baked Beans and Deviled Egg Potato Salad. We did order an extra Pit Baked Beans and Deviled Egg Potato Salad for my date. The 9 ounces of beef brisket was enough for us to split. We both left stuffed for a little under $30. I give this restaurant 3 out of 3 stars.
I've been going to Bogart's for a couple of years for its proximity to my work. It's always great food and their hospitality is 100% what you would expect from a class A restaurant. Make sure to get there quick because their dining room fills up quick.
The food was insanely good and all of the workers were very friendly. Would definitely go back to have more of the baked beans and pulled pork
Great bbq. Had the Brisket and beans.
Absolutely love Bogarts!!!!!!! I would never miss the chance to go when we’re in St. Louis and once we see the arch coming into view I know I am minutes away from the tasty most tender pulled pork I have ever eaten. The atmosphere is cool and so is the staff. They are very welcoming. I always get an extra meal to go and only wish I had more.
I love bogarts. When I was in the service we would get lunch there all the time. Love their barbecue sauces.
By far the bbq joint in MO. We always get plenty of ribs to fill up on then take the rest home. best beans you ever tasted. Slaw and tater salad you ever tasted. It's all good no matter what you order.
The good is great and the welcoming, friendly staff makes it even better!
Every year when we come into town to visit family and attend a convention we visit. We've lived and eaten BBQ all over the US and Bogart's is still the best. Can't wait to see you again next year!
Some of the best I have had!
They were out of rib tips so we got ribs and we were not disappointed. The meat fell off the bone. One of the top spots for BBQ!
This is so good that I can't even classify it as food. You should be eating here right now; whatever you are doing currently pales in comparison to eating here.
Amazing BBQ. Got the pulled pork sandwich with beans and potato salad and chip, along with a soda. Could barely walk out I was so full. All for under 20 bucks. Will be back forsure.
Had half a slab of ribs and it was delicious.. the meat was tender and smoked perfectly.. Highly recommend
Wow they have salads with your choice of meat. It was quite tasty.
Besides all the amazing reviews, Bogart's was recommended to us by friends. It was a great recommendation. The ribs and pork are top notch. Also enjoyed the sides. Beans had a nice kick to them and the cole slaw the perfect creaminess. Just excellent. Very friendly staff, too. Would definitely go back.
Got there too late to have real choice. The ribs were delicious and I got the smoker tour. Pretty interesting operation with a very passionate pit master. Definitely want to go back to try all their other goodies.
Easily one of the best BBQ spots I have ever been to. Burnt ends are ridiculous. Look at that bark.
I drove 20 minutes to come eat here, and arrived at 3:20. I came all this way only to find the door locked. It clearly says the closing time is 4 on Sunday. I am very disappointed, and not to mention aggravated!
Excellent food, warm atmosphere, and quick service!
Amazing burnt ends platter with potato salad and slaw. Tableside sauces (4) to enhance the experience. Super tasty. Order at the counter and sit for a nice meal, they bring food as it’s prepared. Friendly service. Glad we stopped while driving through the area.
Stopped in before attending the Octoberfest in Soulard. It's a popular and busy place as the line was almost to the door. Limited seating inside, but once I got my order a table was available. I had the Brisket plate and my friend had the Turkey sandwich, not sure the plate was worth the $2 up charge. The brisket was good, but not great. Beans were very good and my other side was pickles, which was interesting and tasty.
Great Staff... Great BBQ... Nicely Done!
I cant say it enough, Bogarts is not as good as Pappys despite the fact they have family ties. My food I ate there was cold and they messed up my to go order
Great food but kind of pricy
Great food for a decent price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Go early because they sell out.
The Fire an Ice Pickles will make you come back!
he ribs here were the ones in which you use your hands, bite into, put it down because it was such a heavy and delicious bite, smile, and resume eating all while having your hands covered by this sweet tangy sauce. Have nothing bad to say about these ribs and absolutely loved them. Also got a plate with brisket and tri-tip.The tri-tip was also amazing. They sauce it for you and your job is just to eat. Reminded me of burnt ends tbh, but that's not a bad thing. The brisket wasn't very fatty and adding the sauce didn't quite do it for me. Normally I love brisket, so this was a disappointment. Was just a very lean meat that just didn't quite absorb the bbq as well. When I eat brisket, I expect it to be covered with sauce and just tasting rich and fatty to the point where I'm like "I better not keep eating this or I'll get a heart attack". Did not get that feeling here. The sides of pickles and pork cracklings were also delicious, especially the pork cracklings
Just an amazing experience, well worth the cost. I did the drink pairing and definitely recommend it too.
It's very difficult to leave here hungry. There is such a variety of great barbequed meats. All delicious. Great sides too. Bring friends. You'll need help finishing all that meat.
If you are visiting STL, you MUST eat here. Get the ribs. Thank me later. Seriously, this is THE location to try authentic St. Louis BBQ. After much trial of other famous BBQ joints across America, I can attest that Bogart's ribs are the best. Better than Memphis, Kansas City, Houston, etc. The meat literally melts in your mouth with an explosion of sweetness, herbs, spices, and meat. Perfection has been reached! My wife and I are gluten free and we find plenty of options. The menu is well labeled. Service is fast but tables are limited. If you have a large group, I recommend going to their sister location, Pappy's. Centered in Soulard, the atmosphere is authentic, perhaps the most authentic setting possible for a St. Louis staple. You'll find no better place to eat while in STL!
Food came out super fast and tasted incredible! Definitely try the tri tip and the ribs. The sweet maegan sauce is the absolute best!! Watch out though, we came in about 1 hr 15 mins before close and got the last of the ribs! Come early and get some of these!
Food was very good. When I was there around lunch time the line was kind of long, but don't let that scare you. It moves just fine. They have outside seating too.
Best BBQ in the state. Get there early often sell out of the burnt ends. You can call ahead and place to go orders great take out for a group. Don't let the line out the door fool you the service is fast and the food make the wait worth it.
People will tell you Pappy's is the best BBQ in STL and while it's really good, nothing compares to Bogart's. I'd travel across the Atlantic, if I ever get to come to St Louis, Soulard market and Bogart's is a mandatory stop. It's just so freakin good. Don't miss out!!
The ribs is superb, must try.
Worth it's weight in gold: Half a rack of ribs, coleslaw, and chips.
Good barbecue, friendly staff! Food came quite quickly too.
Had the rib and brisket combo. It was awesome and worth the trip!!
When I got there they had sold out of some of their meats. I had to wait 20 minutes for them to finish cooking some more ribs and then the ribs were dry. The brisket was cut too thin, but the pastrami I had was wonderful. Keep in mind I a from Texas and eat alot of Texas bbq. I also felt like the owner did not care if I ate there or not. The rest of the staff was friendly.
The ribs, brisket, and potato salad were delicious. I generally don't like anyone's potato salad but my own, and this place nailed it. You should also try the homemade oatmeal cream pies! I will go back any time I'm in STL.
The ribs were amazing!
Excellent food, not just the meat, the sides and sauces were also really good. Super friendly & helpful staff. Small location inside, but they totally made room for our party of 10 on a Sat night. :) We'll definitely be going back.
Ribs were off the chain! Love older "hole-in-the-wall" joints like this.
I prefer Pappy's but this is good bbq too. Really small place.
Great BBQ! We had the burnt ends, brisket and tritips...was so good! We enjoyed the sides too, pork and beans were great! My son said he could eat there every day!
Man is this good food! Prices are higher than you expect given the atmosphere, but you are paying basically everything to the food. Some of the best BBQ I've ever had.
Very good bbq
Their burnt-ends sandwich is amazing. They also have a large variety of sauces, so don't be afraid to mix and match.
Good place to grab some BBQ. Not a lot of seating but the wait wasn't too long. The baked beans were the best I've ever had. If they sold it by the truck load of buy it.
My go to meal is the burnt ends sandwich, with their potato salad and baked beans as sides. Hands down my favorite barbeque joint to date. The flavors are incredible, and the meat is very tender.
Always on point at Bogart's, try the Ice and Fire pickles... I know pickles at a BBQ joint but seriously I'm in Love❤
Lots of great BBQ places in town, but the burnt ends and the sauces here are amazing. When you get carryout, Bogart's packages your meal up noticeably better than any other restaurants I can think of. I love participating via Google Reviews - if you find this review helpful, please click Like below. Thanks!
Really good barbecue lots the ribs and burnt ends are always incredibe. Lots of good sides, if you are gluten free many of the sides that seem like that should be gluten free are not, so be sure to ask. I recommend the burnt ends, with pork rinds and deviled eggs potato salad or BBQ baked beans.
Smaller than I expected but very good bbq.
Their baked beans are to die for I also recommend the brisket. A pulled pork was average.
Delicious BBQ! I had the pulled pork and it was amazing! My boyfriend swears that their ribs are the best around! Definitely check this place out!
Great friendly service and amazing food!
Good dive spot but only had 2 options available
I ordered the brisket sandwich and asked for less fatty brisket. They delivered and it was amazing with zero fat and so much flavor. I loved the options of bbq sauces. Sides... I was disappointed there wasn't a Mac and cheese or French fries as those are my go to sides but the apple sauce was surprisingly good. Clearly home made with chunks and apples and cinnamon on top
Awesome food,I will go back next time we come to STL.
This was HANDS DOWN my favorite BBQ I had while in St. Louis! I can't say it enough, it was so darn good!! There was no line when we went at lunch time on a Wednesday, so that was a nice way to start. I ordered the half slab of ribs with burnt ends on the side and oh wow how none of the items disappointed! The rib meat literally slid off the bone when I picked up one of the ribs, it was incredible. The sauces were to die for, but also unnecessary with how well-smoked the meat was! They had that caramelized, almost crunchy exterior, with a tender, succulent, meaty section in the middle. And the best part was that I got to experience this same makeup of meat characteristics in their burnt ends with the crisp burnt pieces of the brisket mixed with a few chunks of tender sweet meat. I wanted to eat more and more, but I needed to save myself from the meat sweats if I was to finish my day and go up the Arch. (Spoiler alert, I went up the Arch.)
OMG, this had to have been some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time and the sides we're delicious. #FOOD COMA.
Amazing food. Beat bake beans I've ever eaten. Came for a rock concert and accidentally found this place. Go here.
It was definitely delicious. The ribs are tasty and soft, can’t wait to go back again.
Absolutely amazing!!! Great service and excellent food. An stl must visit
Have to go early, most of the bbq are out by 5pm!
OUTSTANDING BBQ. A quaint little storefront in the Soulard neighborhood serving up the goods! When you are in St Louis, you owe it to yourself to find this place and stop in for a great experience!
Best damn ribs I've had in years sides are a little small (think dipping sauce size cups) had some oatmeal cookie cream pie things that were delicious! Took about 20 min to get a to go order during the lunch rush. Not bad at all. The Smoky sauce was my favorite.
Best ribs ive had so far
Casual and airy room. I had the salad with pork and it was very good. Great choices in BBQ sauces. Will go again.
Food was great, even though seating is tight and very popular at lunchtime, it is well worth going to.
The smoked meats here are very good, and the sauces available accommodate most carnivores tastes. The vinegar sauce is great for a keto friendly experience. Plenty of tasty sides for regular diets, but not much for the low carb. Cole slaw does have fruit in it, FYI. A bit of an issue finding parking in the neighborhood, so plan on walking a few blocks. The neighborhood is friendly and very clean. Definitely try the brisket, it's very thin sliced and flavorful.
Exceptional food. Good service. A little pricey for a casual lunch but reasonable considering the quality.
The best ribs in St. Louis! If you visit one barbecue place in St. Louis, this is the one. Great sides and a good selection of barbecue meats. Make sure to get there early because they often run out of some items later in the day.
Can't say enough about Bogart's. One of the best bbq joints I have ever been to. They are not always consistent on the taste or smoke, but each time it's amazing. I really want to go... Now.
They have the best ribs I've tried in St Louis. Staff is always super friendly and fast!!
So good ... bbq is on point and so is the service !
Great BBQ, good atmosphere for a BBQ place, music fit perfectly. Good selection of sauces. Prices were good also.
Best bbq I've ever had!!!! The ribs!!! OMG. The beans!!!!! Perfection! I've traveled a lot... I travel just to eat at a place. I went out of my way to St. Louis just to try bogart's. It was worth the trip! I wish bogart's would relocate to Tampa bay where I live.
Great food. The salad with pulled pork on It was terrific.
Great food, huge portions, and decent prices. We tried the burnt ends, pulled pork, Coleslaw, baked beans, applesauce, and chips and everyone in my family loved it. But trust me when I say there was too much food we just could not eat it all. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The ribs here are amazing. The server told me to eat them without the sauce, and she was right, the ribs taste even better with BBQ sauce. However, it is pricey
Spectacular, smoky, delectable rib rack. Tons of meat, great flavor and rub. Sauces were very good. Sides were solid too, best baked beans i ever recall eating and crispy, salty, delicious BBQ pork skins.
First went here a few years back, been back a few times since. After a week long BBQ trip to memphis a few years back and a recent BBQ trip to KC, Bogart's stands a cut above the rest. Ribs are what I always get, a constant, consistent measuring stick. Of the few dozen places I've tried Bogart's sits at the top. Good tenderness, but meat not just sloughing off the bone, great flavor. Bogart's has different sauces out and ready. You don't need em, their ribs stand out on their own. Great brisket and sides as well!!!!
Would definitely recommend. I visited St. Louis, about five months ago and visited this restaurant. I got a half rack of ribs, baked beans, and iced tea. It was so good I am able to remember what I ate five months ago. The service was great and the servers were friendly and happy to serve you. Overall a great restaurant!
Ribs were extremely disappointing. Very bland and undercooked. TOUGH! Chips, baked beans, burnt ends, smoked Turkey and especially the burnt ends were excellent! The potato salad was also excellent. Counter gal was very friendly but no one ever asked if we enjoyed our meal.
The food was AMAZING! The St Louis rub was to die for, and the different sauces were just the icing on the cake!
Hands down they have the consistently best BBQ ribs in St Louis. I don't get to soulard as often as I would like but when I do I always try to eat BBQ ribs at Bogart's. These guys aren't just all about the barbecue they also have great sides including deviled eggs potato salad and some of the best barbecue beans I've ever had. If you get a chance try the pastrami with fire and ice pickles.
Best baked beans ever. Great meats. Well worth the trip.
This is one of the best places for BBQ in St. Louis. The line usually is out the door but service is very quick. the sauces are very good. I highly recommend it. The staff is very friendly. If it's nice, sit outside. I can't say enough about how great this place is.
Great barbeque and superb sides. Family sat outside with our dog. They came up immediately and gave him a bowl of water and a milk bone. Very welcoming and friendly environment. Food is outstanding.
Great St. Louis BBQ! Ribs were good. Picnic tables outside to eat at if you choose.
Just what you would expect, excellent bbq in the heart of St.Louis.
We took as road trip to St. Louis one weekend, and arrived in town about late afternoon. We had a goal to travel 3 hours longer to find our favorite restaurant ,but my husband suggested we find something closer so we could eat sooner. I start googling best smoked bbq places and top rated hole in the walls. Bogarts' came up, generally the wait here is long about 20-30 minutes. We happened to get our food within 15 minutes. We just sampled a couple of meats, like the beef brisket and a small rack of pork ribs. For our sides we got potato salad and slaw. Everything was amazing, i know St.Louis has a reputation for great tasting barbecue, so i knew this place would be perfect to try. We tried a variety of sauces, since they are made in house some varied from sweet to tangy ,sweet to tart and then good tasting bbq sauce. We really enjoyed our meals, this place is straight to the point, they smoke their meat somewhere in the kitchen that continues out in the back of the establishment , its just awesome tasting food. If you like smoked meat ,simple sides that aren't complicated but leave you wanting more. This place is one you cant miss for good smoked bbq.
Chose Bogart's after reading Google reviews. Missed it by that much. Must be great, they were out of bbq by 3:30. A staff member kindly suggested Pappy's, saying they are one of their partners. Was not disappointed.
Not as well known as Pappys but in my opinion this place is way better! The best BBQ spot in St. Louis hands down. I frequented this place when I worked in Soulard and it was always packed. Line moves quick though. Sides I recommend are the potato salad and the beans. One time I met the owner when I was there with some friends, they asked him what was good and he said, "the burnt ends are pretty good, but the ribs will change your life." He is not wrong!
Very good food. Got the pick two meats meal to go. The pulled pork, beans, and coleslaw were all fantastic. They also packed up extra sweet BBQ sauce that was very tasty. The only thing that wasn't great was the brisket which I felt was a bit chewy.
Back again, got the succulent brisket this time.
The best smoke house & restaurant in St. Louis. Wish I could go back. I had baby back ribs that melted in my mouth. Lots of meat on them. Next day went back to pick up pastrami. I would go back to St. Louis just to have that again. Heaven!
Best BBQ in the world. Dog friendly outside on the benches with water bowls and fresh water available. A server even gave my dog some brisket!
The best. Hands down. Super fast service. Great tasting meat and sides. I went multiple times for lunch. Absolutely awesome.
Its almost unfair for me to call Bogart's the best BBQ in St. Louis, when I havent even tried most of the other places. But once you have had the best, why would you go anywhere else? The pulled pork melts in your mouth, the brisket is juicy and flavorful. This is a must have for any BBQ lover.
Best bbq in United states. Pastrami is fire burnt ends amazingly tender
Great food but really expensive
Its in a trendy little area with other shops and restaurants. On street parking. Walking distance to the stadium. We got there at 5:30 on a Saturday night and they were nearly sold Out We had pulled pork and ribs because that is all they had left. Ribs were sticky and delicious. No sauce needed. Pulled pork was typical but not fatty. Sides were good.
Really good place, the ribs are excellent
Slightly better than Pappys but not by much.
Bogart's was awesome! Went there today for the first time and it exceeded expectations. Food was excellent, value was good and staff was very friendly. Even though you order from the counter, we were asked how we were doing multiple times.
Wonderful BBQ location, close quarters but plenty of room. Staff greeted us warmly and with smiles. The ribs were delicately flavored, you are not hit with a sledge hammer of smoke, but sufficiently satisfied with the time they were caressed by the hardwood. The burnt ends were outstanding, but for my preference could have used more bark. We were find of the beans and fire nice pickles.
Awsome place to eat. It is worth the wait in line to eat here!! First time there and we will definately go back.
Excellent BBQ. Ribs are tasty as is but try some Voodoo or Pineapple sauce with them. The Beef Brisket is very well done, tasty and the smoke ring was perfect. I had the the Fire and Ice Pickles (sweet and spicy) and BBQ baked beans. Highly recommend both options. It's a small joint but they help get people in to order and seated quickly.
We recently had a company event and decided to order Bogart's to bring in for lunch. From the first phone call to the pick up, they went above and beyond to make our experience a good one! Even when I forgot to order/make requests in my initial order, they immediately took care of those things when I arrived with a smile on their face. Not only was every person that I talked to happy to help, but the food was a hit with our team! Curate will happily order from them again! Thank you Bogart's for a fantastic experience!!
This is the best BBQ I've ever had. Even the sides we're great and, I may have been lucky, but the wait was short.
Went here once 4 years ago (I'm writing this is 2019) on a road trip going across the country. I still think and talk about the burnt ends I had, definitely one of the most memorable things I've ever eaten. There's lots of places to get BBQ in the area, but I think you'll regret it if you don't go here.
Cool place and good BBQ. I'll come back!
Nice place and fast service, but was out of ribs and potato salad.
Amazing burnt ends platter with potato salad and slaw. Tableside sauces (4) to enhance the experience. Super tasty. Order at the counter and sit for a nice meal, they bring food as it’s prepared. Friendly service. Glad we stopped while driving through the area.
If your on the area definitely visit. Get there early when it's sold out its sold out. Burnt ends by far my favorite , nice variety of sauces
Bogart’s was outstanding! Top 3 ribs of any genre I’ve ever eaten. Really enjoyed the pit beans and potato salad too. Service was excellent, great ambiance and they treated our family with very warm hospitality. Can’t say enough!
Best pulled pork ever!! Great baked beans, potato salad and pickles! If you like smoked meats, Bogart's is a MUST try when in St. Louis. Tried another smokehouse in St. Louis that was pretty good, but Bogart's was better! Only downfall, not much seating room.
Stopped in for lunch. I usually try the brisket at BBQ joints, figuringbits a tricky cut to get right. If they get it right, chances are the rest is good. Was a little tough, lacked great flavor. It was good.
Nice service, food wasn't to my liking. I didnt care for any of the sauces.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere!
The staff is friendly! The food is AMAZING!! We got the Joe’s Special to share. There was PLENTY of food we took the leftovers to go and ate them later! It was my birthday and the owner gave me a free bottle of my favorite sauce. I had a hard time choosing between the Sweet Maegan Ann and the Voodoo but I loved them all! I will definitely be going back the next time we visit St. Louis!
Hands down the best bbq I've had since moving to STL. The meats are all high quality and tasty enough to eat plain, so it's really saying something that the sauces don't overpower and only enhance the experience. The vinegar in particular
Service is great. We ordered the Old Joe for our family so that we could try a few different things. The burnt ends sandwhich was our favorite. The deviled egg potato salad was great. Everything had good flavor.
Best BBQ in St Louis! It's a must stop each time we come into town!
Best ribs I've ever had in my life
Best Ribs, Tri Tip, beans, and potato salad in STL
Bogart's is consistently fabulous! Never disappointed when we eat there.
10/10 for atmosphere, food, service, and QUALITY. These were the best ribs we've ever eaten, and we have had some GOOD ribs! Pulled pork was also fantastic. Will definitely return.
Fast service, amazing food, great sweet tea. I always take people who visit STL to Bogart's or Pappy's to get some amazing local BBQ. Everyone loves it. Seating can get a bit competitive during the busy hours but that's not affecting my review.
These are the best ribs ever!! Smoked flavor through and through. So tender and yummy!!
The smoked meat was fabulous, and they were so kind to not rush us out when we got there close to closing. It was a Monday, but get there early if you are looking for a wide selection. They were down to three delicious options so close to closing!!
Really enjoyed their deviled egg potato salad. Staff were very friendly and had fast service.
Got the Ribs with Brisket , baked beans and potatoe salad. It was so good I forgot to take a photo. Lol
Amazing burnt ends platter with potato salad and slaw. Tableside sauces (4) to enhance the experience. Super tasty. Order at the counter and sit for a nice meal, they bring food as it’s prepared. Friendly service. Glad we stopped while driving through the area.
This place rules! Good location, amazing food you'll never forget & plenty of homemade sauces and sides. Though I would love to go here more often, I have been here only a couple times because the line is sometimes half a block down the street! I suggest going before or after 1 pm or calling in an order for pick-up. (The brisket and the ribs are worth the wait) Purchase a bottle of sauce (or 3) for your own at-home Bogart's BBQ experience!
A mandatory stop while I'm in the St. Louis area! Excellent potato salad! Love the food
Get here early! They will sell out fast! BEST ribs I have EVER had and I've been thru the bbq triangle and up and down the east coast on a bbq mission! Drove all the way from Nashville, TN ! Oh yeah can't forget the burnt ends and potato salad!! Go to Bogart's it's the only spot to be!
Great food! The staff were very helpful and kind. Highly recommend.
Got brisket, and it's really good!
Omg, fast service, great food... I ate everything! And that MAEGAN ANN SAUCE is awesome!
This was our first visit, we ordered ribs and sides. The ribs were cooked perfectly. They were moist and tender. Can't comment on their sauces, the meat didn't need any. We had slaw, baked beans and potato salad for sides. The slaw was sweet for my taste but still good. The baked beans and potato salad were first rate. I will come here again.
Clearly a SL staple, I was there at 1:30 pm on a Monday and they were already out of burnt ends and tri-tip so I had the brisket. Now if you are looking for Texas brisket, go to Texas, this was lightly smoked and machine thin sliced, as in French Dip thin, which meant every single bite was moist and tender, but also cooled down faster. I tried both the sweet and spicy sauce which you put on yourself as is should be. (All BBQ should stand alone) both were good, the spicy was in the middle so everyone should be able to enjoy it. I had the beans and potato salad, using dehydrated onions in the beans was a seriously signature move as well as dill in the potato salad. Overall the plate was $16.00 and quite fair for the portions. I would very much keep it simple next time and just get a brisket sandwich and dip it freely in a sauce.
Great food, service and environment.
Bogart's is so delicious! The BBQ is so perfect that I usually don't add BBQ sauce (although Sweet Megan Ann's is hard to turn down). The staff is friendly and it is nice to sit outside to eat on a nice day.
Great food quickly readied
Not very smokey. The Tri-tip I had was cooked to a perfect medium. Tender, juicy and seasoned fairly well. Problem is very little smoke. Same thing on the pulled pork almost no smoke at all. Way too much sugar. The baked beans were served nice and hot, but had more sugar than a bowl of corn syrup. Cole slaw was the same. Corn syrup with cabbage cut up into it. Would have been nice to try the burnt ends but with two hours left till close they were already out.
Ribs were fantastic, as well as the burnt ends (and pastrami.)
Got here late and they were out of ribs but the brisket and pulled pork were still tasty.
The ribs were good, the baked beans amazing, and a cup of spicy pickles as a side- how cool is that.
Ribs were a BOP! Pulled Pork 10/10 would recommend. Turkey juicy AF. BBQ Beans are bomb and Potato Salad is Fire! In conclusion this place SLAPS! Eat here!
