Staff was friendly, food was pretty good. Had a "Cuban" sandwich and loaded baked potato. This version of a Cuban lacks the requisite roasted pork so is really just a ham sandwich with pickles on it. Potato was good. Order-taker missed a couple of details when filling our drink order. Table service of food is nice and came out relatively quickly. Prices are about 15% too high IMO, at least relative to McAllister's or Jason's. Overall, good lunch spot, tho.

The woman taking our order didn’t seem to know which way was up. In our search for a table we found that every empty booth was dirty and covered in plates. The restaurant was not busy at all and our order took forever to get out. One order was forgotten and two were delivered incorrectly. Our waitress proceeded to handle personal matters beside our table and forgot silverware. The Sweet Peppers Deli in Columbus, MS is far better managed.

Decent sandwich but they have really gone downhill as they spread the chain. They also changed the name of what made them worth going to in the first place. Bulldog Deli was an original in the town but when they franchised the quality took a big hit. It went from an exciting deli to an ok one.

Waitress was sweet took very good care of us got to enjoy a wonderful meal with my family it is a tad loud in there but church had just let out and I'm sure everyone was about to explode from not having any ongoing conversations going during the service! Even had enough for a snack the next day! Definitely will be back!

We wanted small portions so the “pick two” option seemed perfect—until we were told you can’t choose two half-sized sandwiches as a pick two. Then the nightmare of getting our order straightened out after we were overcharged for more than we ordered, and the cashier trying to apply some kind of promotional discount to our check that did NOT cancel out the overcharge. The place is always clean and the servers are friendly but the food is not exceptional enough to make up for the hassle. We won’t be going to Peppers next time we come through Starkville.

As a former employee and frequent customer throughout college, I can say with certainty that this particular Sweet Peppers provides excellent customer service and quality food. The management is quick and effective at handling issues that customers have and making sure the correct order goes out at the correct time. I always make sure to stop by when I'm in town.

The actual food was delicious. The cashier greeted us with a smile and the waiter was very polite. The only issue we had was when we walked in was with the girl in the kitchen which they wouldn’t give me her name they said they call her (slim) said “ are you serious they’re dining in” rolled her eyes and continued to look at us with disgusted looks, because the restraunt closes at 10:00 PM and it was 9:20 PM, very unprofessional. If you don’t like your job or people find another profession.

I visited Sweet Peppers for the first time in years and I didn't care for the food again. I ordered nachos, not sure exactly what kind but they weren't good. Before ordering I asked that the ranch and whatever other sauces to be placed on the side but they weren't. When asked if my food was good by the waiter I said "no". He responded by laughing and saying "Well you sure are eating it". I laughed it off but said I didn't not like it again. Back at square one and no good food as the waiter went on. Still had a good time as I was with someone. Nice place and very clean. Food came out quickly. I just don't like it but maybe someone else will.
