First time there, did not know how ordering worked, so sat down. NO ONE came by the table to greet us or anything. We watched folks go to the buffet, we waited for someone to acknowledge us. Finally had to go ASK what the process was. Food was delicious, but there was NO Southern hospitality. Just because Strick's has been there forever doesn't mean they can be complacent about how their system operates!

I've visited this lunch buffet most Saturday's for the last 18 years. You'll find good solid Southern comfort food. Smoked chicken, ribs, sausage, pulled pork, fried chicken, veggies, fries and fried fish. Everything on the buffet plus dessert and a drink for $12. Of course you can always order from their menu as well.

The BBQ was alright, not a single complaint. Very tasty and very well proportioned. I had gotten the combination platter, because when trying bbq you try as much as possible, with bbq beans and ranch potatoes salad. The beans were excellent, the potatoe salad was unique lol. The service and the environment were excellent and very comfortable. I fully enjoyed my experience here!

I love stricts and was back again for lunch buffet with my husband. The broccoli n cheese is the very best and I hate broccoli! They have awesome sides along with their yummy meat selection. Not to mention their non run of the mill variety of homemade desserts.

Worst Crawfish in town. Dont waste your money!The crawfish are small and flavorless ( I'm wondering if they even used salt!). I have given them two opportunities and each I am completely disappointed.

Great all around BBQ from the meats to their 3 signature Bar-B-Q sauces. The lunch buffet is the best time to go. They've got a great setup with ribs, catfish, smoked chicken, corn bread, greens, and cole slaw just to mention a few, and great homemade cobblers and pies for dessert. Good value for the money too.

The only legitimate BBQ in Hattiesburg. My co-workers and I go here all the time during our lunch work breaks and the BBQ is really good. However, since it is all you can eat beware of eating too much of this good stuff at lunch because you'll be sleepy for the rest of the afternoon.

Now this probably the most southern, southern food I've had and I'm southern. Like like every grandma in town was back there cooking. The buffet was excellent and the ribs where pretty good, not fall off the bone kind but I'm not complaining considering they're part of the buffet. I will be back.

I wish they had more vegetarian options, but what they had was good and they have the best hush puppies I ever tasted. Portions are oversized, order small if you have a choice. I ordered large fried okra and the waitress brought a cardboard basket containing more okra than I usually get. When she placed the okra in front of me she apologized that they made a small order by accident and she would bring the rest as soon as they would be coming out of the fryer. Yes, that kind of portion. The house sauces are sweet and not very spicy.

Food was excellend both times I've gone. The only negative: They tell you 10 minutes on the phone for a to-go, when both times it was closer to 25. Get your estimates right, please. Staff was friendly and I would reccomend.

Good comfort food! The food tasted homemade. Not premade.There were ribs, sausage, catfish and brisket. Also, green salad, slaw, potato salad, corn green beans, mac n cheese, shepherd's pie, hushpuppies and so much more. Desserts were cakes, cobblers, ice cream and banana pudding. There is a bbq sauce station with several choices. Close to USM and I59. Great place to order ahead for tailgating.

Really awesome place! The wait staff was friendly. Food was amazing. The beef brisket was perfectly smoked and offered just enough resistance while chewing to let you know it wasn't clouds. Everyone else at my table got crawfish and I should have ordered it too! The tails were soft and tender and with like a billion options for sauce, the flavor train never stopped. When I'm in this part of Mississippi I will certainly be coming back!
