Technically, this place deserves 0 stars, but I gave one to write this. They hardly ever answer the phones. When they do answer, it is after I have called 3 or 4 times and let it ring about 15 times. If you are working, don't expect to be on time if you try to go eat at lunch, and that is even after 1. For potatoes, they charge for sour cream after the first one, and they are less than half full. This location has gradually gone down since they opened. At one time, this was a go to place. Sad.

I love their salad. It is more appetizing when you look at it. Also the very nice place will help you enjoy the food you were eating. We really had a great time with my family when we went here.

Food is great, but they are slow as molasses getting orders out and I mean slow. If you have a take out, you better call in about 30 minutes before you want to pick it up. If you are on a lunch hour, plan on spending your whole lunch hour there.

This was the worst McAlister's experience I have ever had. We were told this location isn't under the corporate umbrella and doesn't have to meet their standards (it appears they don't even try). They got our order wrong and then proceeded to tell us they were out of what we ordered. This was the worst McAlister's I've ever been to, and I've been to A LOT.

Yesterday was McAllister's "FREE" tea day. I usually order my salads from there when I'm at work and another coworker will go pick up everyone's order. Well I was off work and decided to go myself, especially for the "FREE" tea. I wanted to try something different so I Googled their menu. The "KING CLUB" looked so delicious. I called my order in because I was expecting it to be a line, you know since it was "FREE" tea day and all. To my surprise there was no line at all. I visited McAllister's on 7385 Siwell Rd. in Byram, MS 39272. The customer service was excellent. The cashier's communication was so pleasant and she made sure that my order was correct. I hadn't had the opportunity to visit this location before, but I definitely will make it a point to arrange a sitdown lunch date. The sandwich was amazing...I was totally satisfied overall with my visit. If you want great food and great service stop by McAllister's in Byram, you'll be glad you did.♥️

One of the only ones remaining where kids eat free on weekends. Service is hit or miss especially on Sunday when most people visit. Portions seem to be smaller on weekends vs weekdays.

Had a group of 6. Ordered our meal at 12:20pm. At 1pm still no food yet people who ordered after us got their food. When I asked them to check on my order they said it was coming up next. 15 minutes later still no food. I finally demanded a refund and left.

Don't order online during lunch! Did that twice and waited in line more than ten minutes after I'd already paid online. Cashiers were slow and didn't seem to care about the To Go line that nearly stretched out to the door. Won't be back anytime soon.

I was not very impressed with how they left most of the tables dirty without even getting rid of the plates or trash left by its most recent customers, but the food wasn’t half bad. It is quite nice to sit outside with the lakeside view, but beyond that there are many more places with far better options. The only reason they get 3 stars is that the cashiers and servers were kind and patient.

Not a fan of this Flowood location! Came here today for the first time after an appointment. I got my usual like I get from the Clinton location. The sandwich was a mess. Thrown together and had some kind of grilled chicken pieces from off the grill I guess on it. I got the pepper jack turkey on ciabatta bread and a "fresh" fruit bowl. The fruit bowl was far from fresh. It looked old. I am pregnant and it kind of scared me. I didn't eat it. As far as the tea goes, it was super strong for me. There was barely any ice and it was still hot except for the small amount of ice floating at the top. Also I had to tell the lady twice no lemon and she still put lemon in it. So needless to say, I won't be coming back to this location. Going to stick to the AWESOME McAlisters in Clinton!!!

Pretty good place. Always clean and has pretty neat garage style roll up doors for days when the weather is nice and fair. The only reason I put four stars and not five is because they messed up my order twice in a row on the same day. The first time they gave me the complete wrong sandwich and the next it was not created the way I ordered it. Other than that, a good place to sit and relax or grab a quick bite.

They never seem to get any phone order correct. It seems the only way that I get what I order is to open each individual container to check everything. Don't get me started on the online ordering which should be straight forward but always seems to be incorrect when I go for pick up.

They can be a little bit slow to get an order done around lunch time, but otherwise the staff is friendly and the food quality is great. Ideal place to go before or after the lunch rush .

It's been several months since I last ate there. Unfortunately the quality of food seems to have gone downhill, and service was a bit slower than usual. Typically I have been in and out within 30 minutes during the lunch time rush, but on this visit it was right at an hour.

The young lady that took our order was very pleasant. Our food sat on the shelf for six months while one of the serviers was visiting with friends at the table behind us and the manager was in back. The only person working in the front was the young lady at the regestor. My food was cold. Very disappointed.

I phoned in my order. One pick two and a BLT with Avocado and chips, added a brownie and 2 sweet teas. I pre-paid for my order. I drove over, the counter girl prepared my teas, then handed me bags and a brownie that she then put into the bag. I left. Pulling into my office I looked down and realized she'd given me someone else's order. I u-turned and headed back. She thanked me, we traded bags and I went back to my office. It was then I realized the brownie was never changed over to my bags. After eating I went back to get my brownie. THIS. THIS is when the same girl was so rude she helped me decide to go to the equally close-by McAllister's if I ever go back at all. When she saw me coming in--she made a face...I quietly stepped up and said, "Hey, you put my brownie in the other bags and I'm just gonna grab another one". In the rudest tone in front of another customer she spouted OUT LOUD, "I put your brownie in your hand". Of course, I reminded her that she put it in the bag. At that point when I told her I was getting my brownie, that SHE put in the WRONG order's bag that I had to BRING BACK--she said, "FINE, go ahead" with muccccch attitude. That really made me mad, especially because she behaved that way in front of another customer. Very embarrassing. I did make a comment after getting my brownie, "I guess you're saying it's my fault all that happened? I mean, really, where is customer service these days? Not too long ago, something would have been complimentary for my troubles--a tea, the brownie, an apology--none of those today. Lastly, the man who took my order, nor the cashier offered a receipt for my pre-paid order nor was it included in my bag, wrong or right bag. I have no idea how much I spent. Won't be back to that location. Too many other options.

Encountered the most unprofessional human being. The last entire time taking our order she was rolling her eyes. My mother had asked one question about the menu and the worker just stared at her and then sarcastically looked up and said yes while again rolling her eyes. Come to find out she had no idea because what she told us wasn't even right. Worst human being.

This location has always been a little "iffy". Tables outside front had salt & pepper shakers as well as sweetener packets water logged. Not sure if they were just left out overnight or no one thought about bringing them in during a morning rainstorm.
