The cashier wasn’t very friendly. The roast was absolutely amazing. Never tasted a better roast anywhere. Didn’t get the name of the only guy running around cleaning up and serving drinks. He was great, friendly, smiling and even though it was busy he kept checking in on us and clearing our dirty plates. The carrots, corn, cabbage and meat pie we’re really tasty too. Only thing that I didn’t really like was the mash potatoes, they were instant and too salty. The gravy was good. The Mac and cheese was not good, didn’t get to try the dressing because I couldn’t find the cranberry sauce. The cheese cake was really good, the best I’ve ever tasted down here. The ice cream and bread pudding were tasty. The banana pudding had too much cream but it was good. I ate way too much and I haven’t enjoyed a buffet meal in a long time. My husband and son really enjoyed the catfish. Oh almost forgot the fried chicken is better than Popeyes, not a big fan of Popeyes.

They offer a buffet from 11 to 2 Monday thru Saturday. It is $11 to dine in which includes a drink and tax. They have a salad bar, a good selection of hot foods including fried chicken and fish along with numerous veggies. They have different items each day such as bbq, liver and onions, meatloaf, John Wayne casserole etc... It does get crowded at times but it is worth it.

I use to go drive from Gulfport to Ocean Springs just to shop at Brookes. No more their customer service is rude, and they do not answer to the phone. Something change about the about the store and the people who are operating it.

Cashier was not very friendly, mashed potatoes were instant and nothing was added to enhance flavor, baked chicken could not be cut with knife. Very very dry. Mac and cheese not home made. Made from mix. Was probably just baked on site. Salad bar was ok. Berry dessert was good. Bread pudding was terrible. Once again not home made. Most casino buffet's lower cost and better flavored food. Sorry was so looking forward to enjoying a good southern plate of food

Broome's is a homestyle buffet, and *the* local feeding station for many in the community. Broome's reasonably priced, clean, and offers time-tested menus for people who want a well rounded meal. On Fridays there is generally a selection of fish and seafood. I was impressed at the freshness of the salad bar, although not a salad-only type. Most days there is at least one soup, fresh cornbread (and lesser breads), and two or three dessert choices. Hot food includes three to five each of entrees and vegetables. They make excellent iced tea. There is a cooler with beers and wines, although to be honest I have never seen anybody buy any at lunch. I recommend Broome's for a solid lunch.
