Got the courage to go back and glad we did! Everything was excellent. We did the early bird special menu which was slightly smaller portions (still plenty of food). Ham and cheese sandwich (croquet monsieur) and Cajun shrimp pasta with salads (awesome dressings). We had a long date night with great food and cocktails (perfectly strong). Crowd was a bit thin, but we had a great table and it will definitely be back in our rotation.

Anjou provided a fantastic experience for our party. The staff was professional and polite, and they worked well with me setting up reservations and tailoring to our needs. I recommend this to anyone looking for a fancy dining place. Try the patio out as well for great views!

I have had a couple of misses here, with salty food being the main complaint (but that is admittidly a pet peeve of mine, so I know I am more sensitive to this than most). But overall the atmosphere is cool, the service is good, the food is pretty consistent, and I keep coming back. So good job. 5 stars. For what it's worth, I think this is one of the better restaurants in town.

Food was good and service was OK. I came in on a slow mid-week night and apparently during a shift change. It took nearly 10 min to get a menu and water. Once the waiter finally came, the service was good!

went about 3 weeks ago and had the salmon and was just as described..Sweet and smoky seared salmon filet topped with roasted tomato salsa served with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetable of the day. My friend had the fried oysters and shrimp linguine.. With andouille sausage, mushrooms, diced tomatoes and Creole cream sauce. we both had a glass of apothic red wine. have to admit , this was an excellent choice.

My husband planned a night out for us at Anjou. The merlot was smooth, and I highly recommend their Anjou signature cocktail. We started with the squash beignets and escargot. My husband ordered the rabbit and loved it! I ordered the duck, and they did not disappoint. For desert, we had the apple tart with a side of vanilla ice cream, a cup of cappuccino, and a double shot espresso for my husband. Our waiter was patient and attentive. I don't remember ever having to ask him for anything, he anticipated our every need. They were surprisingly affordable, also. We joined the rewards program because we will frequent this restaurant. Amerigo is also another favorite of ours that is a part of the program. They have a cozy, romantic vibe. I cannot wait to return.

Absolutely amazing service and food. I had the honey rosemary chicken tenders; very delicious twist on a basic dish. The atmosphere is really peaceful, the tables aren't too close together so you aren't bumping into other people or hearing other people's conversations. The view outside the window has a really pretty lake to look at; excellent wine and dessert selection as well. If I wasn't just visiting I would be a regular; the menu is so varied that I would like to try all of it.

Good service but the food sucked. We ordered a salad and an entree from their daily specials. Both were bad we didnt even finish our meals. Too bad we picked this place for our special anniversary dinner. Definitely wont be returning here ever again!!

Very nice food and a very diverse menu, the drinks do not disappoint either, most of the dishes had good flavor, though the mashed potatoes tasted like instant. Atmosphere is very warm and the staff are very attentive. I will definitely be back when I am up this way again

Not at all what I was expecting. I had the 16 oz ribeye although cooked a perfect med rare, it had no flavor had to add salt to get it to where I could eat it. Potatoes also lacked seasoning, my wife had the chicken which was too salty but her potatoes were also bland. Was really hoping for a lot better quality since I heard so many say it was good food.

Great French menu and music too! The patio area overlooks the lake, it’s very relaxing. It’s been a perfect place for Mother’s Day and a great place to take the parents for birthdays. Maybe the only place that’s close to real French cuisine here. A perfect after dinner place too, their desert cocktails are amazing especially the crème brûlée martini.

I celebrated my birthday with five family members. It was a superb experience. Everyone was very pleased with their meal.Tre, our server, was wonderful and the setting was lovely. I look forward to our next visit.

Food was just okay, nothing memorable. Charcuterie board taste like they got everything from Kroger and plated it. Pate was dense and dry, like a bad meatloaf, wasn't spreadable. Only thing I liked on that charcuterie plate was the jam and goat cheese. Crab omelette was light and delicious, but my french onion soup was a fail. They put two slices of bread in my soup which made it super soggy. French onion is usually topped with crunchy croutons, bread wasn't edible so I removed it from my bowl. Soup itself didn't have enough onions and isnt rich in flavor. We also got the steak and fries. Steak was cooked perfectly, but the butter sauce was too overpowering. Our fries came out cold and soggy. Overall experience and food was a 3 star.

I've been here so many times I can't even count the amount. They have only messed up my order once. Which was more of a presentation error and nothing to do with the taste. I think this and Bravo are the best date night locations in the entire tri-county area by far. Nothing comes close to their ambiance and food. Expect to pay for what you get, however.

The food is good, however, depending on the server, preferences are not always honored. I am a regular customer who drives in from Monroe just to dine. You would think since I order the same meal each time, they would easily accommodate. The food and atmosphere are always nice, however.
