Food has never disappointed us. It has always been hot and fabulous. Served quickly and with portions more than enough. we have eaten at Ridgeland, Flowood and Nashville locations - Nick at Flowood is more than accommodating! He goes above and beyond to be helpful. Even chased us down out on the street when I left my phone on the table. Highly recommend!

This is the second Amerigo Restaurant I've tried. This restaurant is clean, staff is friendly and service was quick. I went there for lunch and it was not too busy. They provide you with complimentary bread and olive oil dip. The bread was nice and warm. I also ordered a cesar salad and an eggplant parmesan entree. The cesar salad was tasty and the portion size was quite big given I ordered the small size. As for the entree, I was not too pleased. Personally, was not a fan of the taste of the marinara sauce. Felt like it was not well seasoned and just tasted like tomatoes with salt. The eggplant was not as crispy as I expected it to be and was quite soggy. Staff was kind enough not to charge for the entree given that I did not like it. I would probably try them out again and try another option off the menu.

My party of four had a very good meal. We were rapidly seated at a table with no wait even thou we arrived a 7:30. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the free bread was very good as was the wine we ordered. Salads were very tasty. I had the chicken Parmesan. The only negative that I had was that my pasta with my meal was over cooked. Deserts looked good buy no one had room for more.

The chicken Tuscan was unbelievable. I would have given 5 stars but my friends empirical alfredo was seriously lacking chicken. They should grill the breast(s) and slice them and put them on top of the dish. Instead it was diced chicken and very little of it.

There was a smell to my pasta with duck and sausage that was off-putting and cried out "rancid", so I did not eat it. The service for carry-out was excellent but the food itself was either too rich or questionable in quality. The crab-cake which I did eat was okay, but was overwhelmed with bell pepper and covered with some sort of relish/salad that suggested it was more of a croquette than a crabcake. I did eat that but the it isn't something you would get to celebrate the quality of the crab itself. It was just okay. The last thing I tried was a pecan butter crunch cake that was ample in size for 2 people to share. It was terribly rich and a few bites were more than enough. Would I return? Because my pasta smelled off, that would be a hard no. Perhaps other items on the menu are better choices but I wouldn't consider this a great value for my money. I was sorely disappointed how much food got pitched that night.

Such a wonderful Italian restaurant! From the atmosphere to the food and the service. My friend and I sat at the bar for brunch this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ended up getting pasta and mimosas, with fresh squeezed orange juice. The pasta with the goat cheese was delicious and our bartender was wonderfully attentive and helpful with questions. We finished up with a delicious tiramisu and espresso for dessert, which was really the cherry on top. We will definitely return!

I love the Amerigo in Ridgeland I eat there a good bit. It's always amazing My awesome husband knows that I am a dessert lover so he grabbed me some tiramisu one evening from Flowood. It was not good. It wasn't creamy it was more like just whipped cream and no espresso on the lady fingers so they were very dry I was disappointed.

Have yet to be disappointed. Last time we went, I got a pork chop. I typically hate pork chop. Most places overcook them and you end up with some leathery dried out failure plate. Pork Chop here was on point though.

It was packed the week before Christmas even on a week night and after dinning it was easy to see why. Our appetizer and meal were delicious and our waitress was kind and on top of things. Worth the wait and then some.

Took my two children, my grandson and my brother there to eat. There were 4 adults and a child. We were seated at a table that only seats 4 people and put my grandson in a highchair, which he is too old for. When asked if we could have a bigger table, the manager told our waiter, no, it would mess up the seating arrangements. A couple came in after us and they gave them a bigger table, plus they got their food before us. Never going back to that location.

We had a party of five. The food is always great. I had the grilled salmon dish for the first time and it was awsome except for the black bean, corn, and green bean plating underneath the meat. I did not like the pairing. The cheese fritters are so so good. I can eat them all day!

Food was great but was seated with only one set of silverware for three. Hostess said she would be back with others. Placed drink order and appetizers. Salad and appetizers came still no silverware. Wife went and asked hostess about silverware and after another 10 minutes she asked for manager and we received silverware with apology for waiter and nothing else. Hostess was seating other people with full silverware for all the entire time we were waiting with appetizers and only one fork between the three of us. Not pleased with hostess or way manager had waiter to apologise for something someone else failed to do. SAD

I’m a firm believer that you can tell a lot about a restaurant’s service when you show up within an hour of closing, especially on an off night. On my daughter’s birthday, Wednesday July 3rd, she chose an Australian themed steakhouse for her b’day dinner. After a ridiculously bad experience we left and convinced her to go to Amerigo which my wife and I frequented at their other location when we lived in the area years ago. We showed up with a party of nine, 45 minutes before they were closing. Their hostess was welcoming and sat us promptly. Our server, Mariana, was gracious and very attentive. Although I’m sure everyone was ready to go home, they never rushed us even though we were there well past closing. Their service was greatly appreciated and they saved my daughters birthday. I made it a point to thank the manager for everything. Amerigo’s is on point and I would highly recommend.

I ordered Shrimp Scampi to-go which was very tasty but the pasta was terribly overcooked. It was like eating mush. For $17.00 + tax the pasta should have been a perfect al dente. I said to the server as I was leaving, "I hope this is better than Olive Garden." He assured me it most definitely was. Ahh, it most definitely was NOT.

This place is just amazing. I come here every time I am in town and I've tried a different dish each time. The food and service are always fantastic and I truly have enjoyed every time dining here. I'll keep coming back until I've tried everything and then I guess I will have to start over. Oh, and their Old Fashioned is the best one I've ever had. This location does not take reservations but the ridgeland location does. Situated in a cute little shopping area with boutiques and fancy chocolate shops. Dim lighting inside the restaurant is a huge plus especially for date night with hubby! Service was fantastic! The drinks are delicious and unique, crab cakes are really good and my fav of course at both locations are the basilico salad, brownie and tiramisu.

Tonight on February 14, 2019 would have been my first time dining at Amerigo being that I’ve heard so many great things about this restaurant. I visited the Flowood location which is absolutely the best location. Here’s why I’m rating this location a 1. When I arrived, I expected to wait a while being that it’s Valentines Day. I was told by the receptionist that the wait would be an 1 hour 1/2. After waiting for said time I started to notice people getting seated that arrived well after I did. I asked why hadn’t I received my call. The receptionist acted as if I was irrelevant and didn’t even apologize for their error. Her statement was, we’ll just seat them whenever the next table is available as if I had no other option. If I were caucasian, that would’ve never happened. That’s sad but I will never return nor spend my money where I’m not wanted. Thanks for the first impression Amerigo!!!

Friendly staff. Easy environment, great and when I say great... I mean GREAT food! Now this being a "higher class" restuarant, the bill was up there in price so be prepared to spend! I guarantee it will be worth every penny. We even had to go plates and the food was still good the next day, not soggy, lost flavor, rubbery or anything. Definitely would go again!

I have wanted to dine here for quite some time. The service was slow. We were seated immediately, so it wasn't full. It took more than 10 minutes to get tiramisu after our dinner, and the lady fingers were dry. The custard/cream is supposed to soak into the cake. Maybe they had tried to hurriedly prepare some rather than tell us they didn't have any. The best part of the meal was the foccacia with herbed oil. Bread service should not be the highlight of a meal. I ordered the pasta with tomatoes and capers. Not much taste. I asked for more capers. And the sweet tea was weak. This is the South. We like it strong and sweet. I'll give the restaurant another try, as I usually try something twice before deciding I don't like it. But changing my perception will be an uphill battle for Amerigo.

Cheese fritters - yum! Seafood pasta was a good choice except the pasta was a tad too soft. Delicious otherwise! Chicken piccata got a big thumbs up as well. Tortellini was excellent. Skip the key lime pie and go straight to the pecan Fudge Chocolate Brownie! But you will have to get it to go after a great meal like e had. 5 BIG stars for our server Jacob. Sit at his table if you can. He was the best!

This is my first time a Amerigo's and I absolutely enjoyed it! The place is nice and spacious, white tablecloth type dining. They started us off with focaccia bread, would be great dipped in your pasta sauce! We started off with artichoke dip, I like my artichokes chunky and not completely dissolved into the cheese, they had it just the way I like it. I ordered the veal marsala, although my dish was good, my friend ordered the chicken piccata. She doesn't eat seafood and it was topped with crab meat, I tried a piece and found myself trying to convince her to trade plates with me

Same great menu and quality as the County Line Rd location. Lasagna, seafood pasta, and veal saltimbocca are just a few of my favorites. It can be very busy on weekend nights and they don't take reservations so be prepared to wait. If you don't want to wait I'd recommend arriving early and taking advantage of the early bird specials or ordering takeout.

We love Amerigo's restaurant. Everytime we visit the staff is exceptionally friendly and the food is fresh and served quickly. My favorite dish is their fettuccini alfredo, and a close second is their pork chop. One day I might learn how to cook and serve the pork chop like theirs. If you have a craving for Italian, you must give them a try.

Amerigo’s is a nice fine dining option in Flowood. I got the chicken acuto and a house red wine and it was all great. If you get there before six you can order off the early bird menu and it will be a really good deal. You might want to prepare for a wait though because they don’t take reservations.

First time trying brunch with my family after church. Our waitress, Miyabi made our experience even better. She was cheerful & helpful with great timing. The crab cakes with eggs, asparagus, and polenta was fabulous! There are 2 crab cakes not just one! What a delicious surprise! Enough for a second meal or to share. This was a special occasion for my husband and I. Celebrating our 45th anniversary. All in all....we will return. Thank you Amerigo!

Absolutely delicious food!! I eat at this place way too much, but I have never been disappointed. The Alfredo, lasagna, chicken marsala and salmon are all great choices. The bread is really good as well. I am always greeted with a smile and I always feel welcomed. The staff if very set on making the experience enjoyable. I also love that the restaurant is kept clean and in order. The staff is quick to get tables ready for next guest. The restrooms are also very clean and they smell good. I will certainly return here, often.

Tuesday's lunch special is meatloaf, potatoes and green beans which is what I ordered. Being a "lunch special" you would think this would be a fairly quick order but not in my case. After 30 minutes of waiting, my "lunch special" was served warm at best with a VERY hot plate which tells me that it sat for quite a bit before served. (Old restaurant trick). I won't be going back....
