Great food and service. Sometimes a little too drowned in BBQ sauce... May start ordering it on the side. Great onion rings.... Pork... Chicken. Burgers are good... But not 5 Star.

Skip the burgers, onion rings, fries and cheese curds. If you're going to go here, get bbq'd anything with a side of jojos and a malt. My favorite is their thin sliced beef, it was excellent! Im a huge fan of sauces, and they have a VERY heavy hand when they sauce your meat, so if you want light sauce, ask. Or better yet, ask for it on the side. I loved it though! (Also, very cool atmosphere!)

Prices have escalated in the past few years, but the value remains. It is 3 blocks east of the Olmsted/Rochester government center. No real inside dining, but east outside and enjoy.

People rant and rave about how good Roscoe's ribs are. I tried getting a full slab for lunch. Sadly, I did not enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed ribs at other restaurants in Rochester. These were underdone and chewy. They were also expensive. Since Roscoe's has announced that they are going out of business lot of people are coming for their final meal. I'm glad I went but probably won't return.

The place has two sizes a small and large. Their small fries is literally 10 French fries and their large fries gives you as much as a small at McDonalds. The best thing it has is their root beer float.

It was okay ordered jojos potatos ribs and potato salad.......potatos would have been good but they drowned then in bbq sauce so it was a little too much didnt finish them...ribs dodnt have much flavor...just drowned in more sauce....and the cheese curds weren't anything special.......just disappointed cuz of how much i payed.....

Stop by about once a week for the Garden Burger and jojo's (sliced fried potatos). So good! Amazing fried fish and I always have to get a bottle of bar-b-q sauce to keep at home. It's my favorite!

I know this is a Rochester favorite, but if you actually like bbq and real flavor, this is not the place for you. The food is bland and everything is drowning in bbq sauce. It was like I had a side of pulled chicken with my bbq sauce soup. The malts are the bomb though.

Not sure if I just ate ribs or rubber ... My boyfriend's brisket sandwich was decent but overly sauced and came with no sides. Our food was $32 dollars. I would not go there again. Best just head to famous daves or make your own ribs at home. The Dr. Pepper tasted like Dr. Pepper at least

Biased because on a good day I can practically step out my back door and smell their barbecue drifting on the wind. Great malts and desserts, good burgers and meats. Good about hiring locals. I compare their root beer favorably to 1919.

First time coming here and ordered the BBQ pork tenderloin which sits on a bed of jojos and has a spicy, sassy sauce with a hint of sweetness. The portion size feels just about right for the price of 8.99 (with a side and garlic bread) The meat itself was nice and tender and had a very good consistency. I will be back before closing for the season. I need to try a few more entrees before this gets my 5 star approval but it's close.
