We had Marna’s cater our wedding at the beginning of August. From the start, they were wonderful to work with! Carlos became our main contact and handled my countless questions with patient and great attention! We were very happy with the food, it was delicious and presented beautifully. We had 180 people, the wedding party and grandparents were served plated meals, with everyone else going through the buffet line, which was pleasantly efficient! The servers were all very kind, as well! We definitely recommend Marna’s!

My wife and I worked directly with the owner to cater our modest wedding of around 100 guests in the summer of 2019. Marna's worked with Liquid Motion to provide well-crafted, but affordable food and drink at Schaar's Bluff Gathering Center in a Dakota County Park for just under $4,000. Everyone we worked with was responsive and courteous. I cannot recommend them enough.

Went here for breakfast and was really excited to try a new cafe. Their breakfast bowl was good but very small, but what really annoyed me was that of the two coffee options they had, they were out of one (the tres leches coffee), and it was 9 am, and there were only two other people there. Don't make the website coffee themed and be out of 50% of the coffee options when most people would drink coffee.

New fave spot in Robbinsdale!! Omg, service is great, food is great, atmosphere is great. Free WiFi. I’ve had almost everything on there menu at this point from the smoothies to the tapas ;) Becoming a regular.

Great food if you are adventurous. Sadly they took away the one dish my wife liked so we can't go anymore. Expand the menu for families with different tastes. 5 stars if you like goat cheese and pork belly. Which is very good. The coffee is best in town and fresh juices. Can you tell I miss this place? The avocado sandwich was taken off the menu.

Went to a food tasting for my wedding. Wanted to sign a contract. They told me they would send it in an email right away. Called them the next day, because I never got the email.. They told me that they are now booked that day, even though they assured me it would stay open for me. My wedding is about 140 people. My guess is that they want to cater to larger venues only. If you are having a wedding less than 150 people, don't go here.

Petite little eatery in which I've had great experiences. My most recent experience was very noteworthy though. My son and I are gluten free and we popped into Marna's on May 16th for dinner. The menu is very limited and was not clearly labeled gluten-free or vegetarian (suggestion to update for future guests) After we ordered our drinks my husband had asked us if we should just check out and find another place to order food at, when explaining to the waitress are situation she was super sweet and kind in helping us navigate-going back and forth between the cooks and our table to help in tweaking the meals to make them gluten free. They were fantastic! It was easy to switch up an entree since they cook from scratch, and they came out fantastic! Corn tortillas instead of floor for the grilled fruit quesadilla easy win for both of us! The fact that this restaurant worked with us, cared and were able to come up with an easy solution to our dietary needs will keep us coming back in the future! Thank you!

Wonderful little place! Great food! I never knew a salad could be that good! I have loved everything that I have tried here! The staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable about anything and everything about each menu item. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with comfortable seating. I love meeting here with friends for lunch. It does get pretty busy over the lunch hour so I like to do a late or early lunch...

We got married 10-10-15 and They we're Amazing! They were able to be their for us on short notice and worked really well with our schedule! The food was Delicious, and food stayed hot! The guests were all happy with the food and how their servers helped! Fantastic job! I couldn't have been more pleased!

Marna's catering is out of this world! I worked with the owner Rolando for our open house for the company I work for and he was absolutely amazing! He referred me to a wonderful bartending staff who we used and loved, and his team of caterers were personable, professional, friendly, and handled our even with the utmost care. The food... OH MY GOODNESS!!! Seriously phenomenal! HIGHLY Recommend the spinach and artichoke dip as well as the sliders, people were RAVING about them! I will definitely be calling Marna's again. THANK YOU!

We had Marna's cater our wedding at the end of April and everything was absolutely delicious. The appetizers were so great and the entrees were also delicious. One of our guests even called up the cafe a few days later to ask about some of the items on the cheese platter because she said she could have stood right there eating the whole night. So many of our guests raved about the food. We tried out a number of caterers before our wedding and Marna's was by far the best and actually the most affordable as well. Thanks to the whole team!

Meh. Ate at the cafe in Robbinsdale and the food was OK but not much in the way of places to sit and enjoy. A limited breakfast menu, plus it was a little expensive. Don’t get me wrong... I don’t mind paying top dollar for good food and good service, but this was neither.

Great little place and definitely worth a shot. Even if you're not into ethnic food give this place a try. Very charming ambiance and the food is a bit unique but everything is reasonably priced and it was delicious. I don't live nearby but definitely will be returning.

I was standing outside if the JX Eventvenue in Stillwater last night where a wedding had been held that evening. A person from what I'm assuming was the kitchen staff walked out from the venue to load equipment. This woman walked directly into my back and side almost knocking me off of the curb into the street rather than saying a simple "excuse me". I told her that an excuse me would have been nice and I could have moved over so she could get to the van. She glared at me and continued to load the van, no apology. When my cab arrived, I got into the car and she happened to walk back out with more equipment. She found it appropriate to give me the finger while mouthing profanities at me with a smile on her face. I would never recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a good experience from their staff, if that is how they treat people. I was not in attendance of the wedding, but still should not have been treated like that by someone representing a company who should pride themselves on their hospitality.

I highly recommend Marna's Catering for any event. We used them for our wedding and had such a great experience. They made sure all the food was dairy free (as I can't eat that) and to be honest it was delicious. I personally had the Lizano Chicken with roasted potatoes and asparagus and it was so yummy and flavorful. Everyone seemed very happy with their meals and the service. I also want to send a shout out to Carlos as he was super helpful and always responded to any questions or concerns right away.

First time in. Tried something, I don't remember what it was called. Frankly, I had no idea what I ordered. It came out and was like something I have never tried and was very good. Chicken, black beans, some kind of salsa/Pico, plantains and topped with an egg. Glad to see another nice little, unique restaurant in Robbinsdale.

What an amazing place. The food is really great and unique. The staff and service is top notch. The only bummer is they are not open on Sundays. Robbinsdale is really is such a fun town and charming town right in the middle of the city.

Marna's is a great spot in Robbinsdale. They make great Costa Rican foods and fine coffees in a warm, quaint space. I'm looking forward to their tapas menu. Sounds like they'll even have some live music in the evenings. What a delite!

Marna’s Catering was one of the caterers on our venue’s preferred vendor list, and we were so happy to see them there! They had catered my sister’s wedding the year before, so we already knew their food was delicious. We did our research though, and compared them against other caterers on the list, and in the end Marna’s won out for taste and quality, as well as for pricing and value. We worked with Carlos and he made the planning process so easy for us- super responsive and always willing to answer any and all questions we had! They were also able to accommodate some last minute vegan meal requests. Our guests loved the food, and the servers were very friendly. Thank you Marna’s!

Marna's Cafe is an exercise in magnificent flavors conveyed with subtlety. The syrup for the French toast is jalapeno infused, for instance. It is by no means overpowering and is completely delicious. If you enjoy a Costa Rican theme both in aesthetic and food, this is a great spot for you to check out.

We had a contract with Marnas for our upcoming wedding this year.. I was going through heart issues and have another heart surgery coming up and had a financial setback and we wanted to do a pasta station instead of a full meal... they were more worried about making 5,000 on a meal saying that people would be upset with the catering thinking there wasn’t enough food offered... worried about their name instead of making something work for us given our situation.. we wanted to offer our guests at least something.. we were basically talked out of doing anything with them like it wouldn’t be worth their time to cater our event without a full meal. Then when we were going to push our date out so we could offer a meal they said they were changing the terms and requiring a minimum. I don’t recommend. The food was just mediocre nothing fantastic anyways. They also did not refund the deposit even though he basically didn’t want to cater for us...

My husband and I decided to have a small wedding since we’re on a budget. I’m glad we found Marna’s Catering. They gave us a great deal along as well as scrumptious food. Our guests raved about it and asked for business cards, that’s how good it was. I hope my significant other doesn’t see this because I’m planning on hiring them again to recreate our wedding menu for two for our first anniversary.

We recently went with Marna's catering for our wedding. We wanted to do something other then a traditional wedding meal. Marnas was so willing to work with us and suggest different options to fit our style. We ended up going with their fajita and carnitas stations. Both were so delicious. Our meal tasted like we were at a high end restaurant. We had so many compliments! Leading up to the big day Marna's was so easy to work with. They had great communication and accommodated to any request. The day of the wedding they were just as wonderful. Their staff was very professional and on top of things. It was so nice to just sit back and enjoy the meal and not worry. I highly recommend Marn'as!!!
