We’ve been coming to this place since 1987. It was an old truck stop before freeways and has evolved into a restaurant and catering business. Breakfasts are amazing , With the hugest pancakes you’ve ever eaten. The omelettes are big and delicious too. I highly recommend it as a sit down traditional breakfast and other meal dining spot. It’s always got seats open if you’re open to sitting at the breakfast bar.

Good comfort food. B and I had hot turkey sandwiches. Came with real mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing and cranberries. Was very busy, so the kitchen was a little slow. Server was friendly. We'll be back.

Amazing food! Was not expecting the large portions of food. Downside, we asked for a high chair and came back with a booster, not sure if they have high chairs or if they were all being used, just difficult with a busy child who wants to climb.

We got here at 11:00 and got seated at 11:10. Our server brought our water and coffee. Then, she took our order. And said that it could take around 30 minutes. (So far everything was good.) We asked her after 45 minutes of waiting,(people that ordered after us, had their food already) then she comes back and says the order never went out and asked us if we still wanted to eat here!! We considered it rude and seriously not good. Also, we asked if we can get our food rushed, and she replied"i dont know if we can do that". Then after my wife stood up and yelled at other server, they came over with someone else and said they would be taking care of if. After 15 minutes waiting our food came. It was warm and good. Also, when our server brought our check, they took 1/2 off and our friend's the same. That would've been necessary if our order was put in in first place. Second, Im rating 1 star because of the bad service, eventhough they discounted our bills too, I if go to a restaurant, I dont expect the restaurant to give me discounts like that because I have the money to pay for it!! Our server apologized at the end, but never said,Im sorry. It wouldnt matter if this happens 1 in a million, customers expect a great service. Thank you.

They have a good selection of meal choices on the menu. The staff is really friendly and ready to help. The establishment is always clean and organized. They have great specials throughout the week. We always have a great experience here. Would definitely recommend for a family dinner.

I had the chicken tenders... Very good. Came with soup or salad... Fries and a few other options including baked potato. She asked if i wanted it loaded and i said "of course" thinking it was included. But she didnt tell me that it was .75 for butter or sour cream, .75 for cheese, .75 for bacon... So, the 5 stars are for the food...

Lynde's has always been a good diner restaurant with better breakfast food than anything else. Last time my wife and I tried the chicken delmonico and it was salty and not too hot. The fries were piping hot and the coleslaw was out of a prepared food service pack and was marginal quality. I have never been disappointed with the burgers or breakfast food before and I have been comming since the mid 90's I have also had the ribs but I have never tried the crab legs and most likely will not. Good all-around diner just don't expect too much. The service is always good and friendly.

Was our first time here. We were here for a 65th wedding anniversary meal for my grandparents who reserved the back room. The service was great, the food was good except for the deep fried green beans that came with the steak, they tasted like burnt cooking oil. Their buffet looked great, and Id come back again to try that!

I was quite impressed with the biscuits and gravy. It's such a simple dish, but so few places get it right. The sausage was very present in the gravy giving it a nice richness. The biscuits were standard, and the gravy does well to elevate them. Hashbrowns came extra crispy as requested, and they elevate them by offering to add cheese and onions to them, which is a nice addition that I hadn't been offered before. I ordered my eggs over-medium, and what I received was over-easy which was fine enough to not send back since I mix them with the hashbrowns anyway. I felt it was priced appropriately. My girlfriend had the french toast combo. She stated that it was good, but felt underwhelmed by the amount on the plate for the price. She also ordered eggs over-medium and what she received was even more runny than mine. The restaurant is clean and has a very comfortable homey feel. The restrooms are clean and decorated with a sort of cabin feel without being over the top and tacky- although I felt the picture of the buffalo across from the toilet was a little awkward as it felt like it was staring at me pooping. Over-all I had a good experience. My girlfriend a little less so. Parking was available, and we arrived at about 1:30pm which seems to not be a super busy time.

The food was okay. I love the entrance with all the older beer cans. I opted for the BLT, and the bacon could have been crispier, but they do serve breakfast which may be their specialty. Cozy atmosphere, and tasty beer!

Always a good, solid breakfast. I haven't been for lunch or dinner so can't speak to that, but the staff are very friendly and like I said, the food very good. They catered our wedding 10 years ago and did a fine job there as well.

There’s a way you can play people on all you can eat CRAB LEGS. Our service last night at Lynde’s: Our server was great but all the crab legs that you can eat and with Lynde’s not being packed last night and we didn’t close them up we got screwed. The first round of crabs legs was not HOT!! And we were a party of 15, and that price that’s being charged we were PLAYED!! Second round they were a little warmer, third round I guess they felt that we were eating to much! All of a sudden they were cold and salt of the outside of the shells, you could see the white salt and very salty to taste. I sent mine back and they sent me a whole new plate which was lukewarm, which was saltless like before. So their practice is when you eat to much, they start serving you salted down crab legs. I will not be spending my money here anymore.

Food was pretty good. 4 adult entrees + 4 soft drinks ran $55 w/o tip. Pancakes are HUGE! Next time I'll have to check out the bar. My wife said the ladies room was clean.

Good family restaurant with good food and service. Hot sandwiches are delicious, with homemade meats and topped with gravy! Buffet is a great deal, with good food and good selections (when they have it). Good for groups too, as they have a nice back room. Bring the family, or being everyone you know!

Service is always fast and friendly, with generous portions. I had biscuits and sausage gravy with eggs and hash browns. Yummy! There was a group breakfast in their larger space reserved for such groups. I always heard good things from my friends about Lynde's over the years. Great local eatery and caterer.

My endless crab ended very quickly! I got there at 7:45 and before even 8:30 they told me and my friend there were no more crablegs. Never heard of limited crab legs on a suppose to be all you can eat crablegs. I barely got full. Wow

This is a pretty average place. not much variety on the menu in the sense that everything is just something on the side of meat. Went there with some family and just got a salad myself. But to be fair I'm pretty picky and I don't eat meat. So there reviews are much higher than mine but just sharing my opinions here. My fiance loves the hash and her dad got the same thing and they both seem to enjoy it very much. looks like the soup is pretty good too and they only had one kind that day which was creamy potato soup but my fiance's brother seemed to like it quite a bit. I personally wouldn't go there but if you're just looking for a quick bites to stop and you like classic American food and give it a try

I used to go to the restaurant for great food, now you have sit through some kind of circus an have wads of soiled pieces of napkin thrown landing next to your what I used to be great food . Mixed review. My husband had the all you can eat buffet & said it was great. We were a party of 7 celebrating a birthday. 3 prime rib orders. 1 never arrived & when it did it wasn't a nice piece. That was for the birthday girl. I ordered the broiled walleye which was to be done with lemon & butter. No lemon or butter but some odd seasoning. Same with the salmon. Our waitress was sweet but new & should have never been a waiter at a party of 7 on Sat night. She was clearly out of her element & didn't know who ordered what & forgot 1 prime rib! The restaurant didn't comp anything so I asked & then they removed $10. Will not go back. Make sure the menu is accurate & update your website menu.

Lived her my whole life and never been in there, so decided to try it with my girlfriend. The service was horrendous, we had to go ask for menus after 10 minutes, and then five more to ask if we wanted anything to drink. It wasn't even half full in there,and we were in sight of employees, so idk why they were slow. Luckily, the food was pretty good, but I will probably never go back.

Lynde's Inn in osseo has great food at good prices! The service is always friendly. Love that they have a different special usually every night. Like Tuesday night, I have dubbed it "hamburger Tuesday!" I usually bring in a bunch of my friends and Neighbors. You get a huge burger with great fries and a beer or Coke all four only $7.50 on Saturdays they have an awesome Buffet for only $12.95. You can't beat this place for casual dining.

My hubs and I went to Lindes this morning after perusing for cars at Hyundai. We loved the decor, and the service was fantastic. Loved how they left coffee at the table. The steak and eggs were delish but the potatoes could have been crispier. My boo said he wasn’t a fan that we couldn’t substitute the break for fruit or an extra egg (not good for the gluten free), and he said he pork chop was small af. We recommend!

I've been too Lynde's a few times now and must say the food and service is extremely impressive. Now keep in mind I like food with seasoning but not buried in barbecue sauce and they do balance it nicely. The sauce on the ribs is excellent if not too much. I have the sauce put on the side to ensure the right amount. Also recommend the potato soup! Wife was sick so she order it. Everyone at the table tried the soup after her face lit up and ordered thier own bowl.

Our FAVORITE breakfast place around. Food and service are usually really great. Matt is always working and super friendly. 10:30 and noon on Saturdays/Sundays are the busy times so don't go during those times unless you are willing to wait a bit for seating/food.

Went here for a date with my husband on a Tuesday night.smelled burgers outside in the parking lot and I don't normally order Burgers but I just had to try it-especially when I found out that the Tuesday special is $7.50 for a burger fries and beer. Which is an amazing deal. The burger was actually cooked to medium, which is uncommon these days in restaurants. It was delicious and the staff was very nice and prompt. Would recommend to anyone. They just need to replace some lights outside to make sure that their doorway is lit up nicely

Service was a little slow but the breakfast was amazing! They don't give you spoons which drives me nuts. Even if multiple people get coffee they give you one spoon for the table to stir, but my parents use sweetener and I don't. Silly, just give us spoons. Will be back.
