We offer you the opinions of real people like you who buy the products of Dough Dough (Catering) near Minnesota.
Nowadays this business gets a score of 3.6 stars out of 5 and the rating is based on 90 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is good, and it is founded on a very high number of reviews, so we can be quite sure that the rating is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to write reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Catering is classified in the category of Mobile caterer.
Always tasty. They give you a lot so I usually refrigerate it and save it for later. My fiancee asked if he could split two flavors and they flatly said no. I don't understand why-it doesn't seem like doing two half scoops wouldn't be that difficult. Just the policy I guess.
Tasted like cookie dough, as expected. Fun to try something new. Based on the reviews I thought the serving was going to be small, but that wasn’t the case at all. I can’t imagine eating it all in one sitting it’s so rich, but sooo good.
My family and I shared a flight of 7, it was awesome, and plenty for our sweet teeth! My favorites were the chocolate chip, and Coffee. I also really like that they offer a local coffee on nitro. Nice to have something different at the mall!
This was very good and the man working the check out was so nice!
If you like eating raw cookie dough, dont be tempted by this place. My fiance and I had a few bites of our "scoop" before deciding it was way too sweet. A couple of hours later, we were both sick to our stomachs. We didn't think anything of it and had some more of the dough when we got home. Both of us ended up with food poisoning. We should have just thrown it away after the first bite.
This is the worst cookie dough I have ever had. I LOVE cookie dough so I thought I would give this a try, so not worth the $5 for the smallest size. It tastes how I would imagine play dough would taste. Took two bites and threw the rest away. Spend your money elsewhere!
Front counter staff was friendly. Prices were a little higher than I expected, and the product was rich. My wife and I were able to share 1 scoop which was $5.00. Each scoop after the first is $2.50.
The cookie dough was really good. I had one young blonde girl helping me that was very nice. Seemed understaffed though, they had one person waiting on a relatively long line of people. Must be a popular place, the mall usually isn’t packed on a Thursday
Gluten free is rarely as delicious as gluten-full, but their gluten free oat dough was absolutely terrible. Gluten free has a different texture, but this was rubbery and unpalatable.
Dough!
Love it! Big fan of the Smore and Coffee Cookie!
I like it. I don't love it. One of the things that I didn't care for was the pricing of the different sized scoops/containers.
I love cookie dough and all, but this place gave me terrible stomach cramps a short while after I started eating it. Their waffle cons were bland, hard and flavorless, the cookie dough itself had been out for a while, so where the server scooper, it almost looked like it had a layer of dust, asked for a new one right away. Good idea, bad execution. Just go to Coldstone
If you like cookie dough ice cream. STAY AWAY!!!!! Long wait and cookie dough is warm. Me and 4 other people threw our whole cup away.
This place is amazing! The best part about making cookies is eating the dough before you bake them- and Dough Dough lets you skip the prep work and get straight to the cookie dough
This seems like something that should be at the Minnesota State Fair, on a stick and deep fried. It’s difficult to distinguish some of the flavors from one another.
It pains me a bit to give a cookie dough place 2 stars, but if you're going to consume this level of calorie, it should be worth it. It's not. The craving for cookie dough is not satisfied by this place. The texture is wrong and it seems like there is no variety of dough recipes. On top of that, the worker that helped us was grumpy. If you're in the Mall of America and want a decadent snack try Cupcake, the new Macaroon place, or Tim Hortons.
Tasty stuff! I'm going to guess the poor reviews from people earlier are just from crabby types that kick puppies in their free time. If you don't enjoy kicking puppies in your free time, go to Dough Dough and load up on Monster Cookie and (for now, seasonally) Dark Chocolate Cherry! You won't regret it!
Absolutely delicious! Would recommend the sampler as it's the best way to try multiple of the flavors and enough to share.
Quick sweet treat that the whole family enjoyed.
Very friendly staff. Cookie dough isnt my thing but my family loved it. Got a flight of dough and it was devoured quickly.
I did not like the taste of the dough. It had the sour milk taste to it. The only thing that taste good was the chocolate chips inside. I would rather go to papa Murphy's take and bake pizza and get some good raw cookie dough. Not worth the money or time in line.
I don't know agree with many of the negative reviews. It tastes a bit different than real cookie dough but is still good. Portion size is really large though! Just like normal cookie dough, you wouldn't want to have too much. I would honestly say, the sampler could easily be for three-four people. If you are eating a single scoop by yourself, it's way too much.
We had two different flavors at the Anoka Food Truck Festival and both flavors were delicious! Fast service too. I would love to try other favors in the future!
I'm addicted! The Monster cookie dough is just like the stuff I make at home with way less effort :)
A-mazing!!!!!! Very inexpensive and soooo worth every penny!!!
The flight is the way to go!
VERY DISAPPOINTED! I spent 10$ on cookie dough and I hated it! After 2 bites I felt like throwing up and my stomach didn't settle down for 5 1/2 hours! My 2 friends had the same problem. Cookie dough should not be served like ice cream! If your at target field never get this! Go spend your 5$ on dippin dots. Also it will give you bad constipation for 5 hours and I was disappointed in the customer service because the guy hated his job and never said thank you. Lady at the cashier was decent
So gross and expensive, I threw it away after a couple bites! And it was just disgusting watching the employees molding the dough into balls and seeing it get warm in there hands. I definitely would not recommend going here, waste of money
Amazing treat which hits those cravings just right. Much more filling than it looks!
People have a lot to say negative about this place, but I don’t agree. The dough is VERY rich, however I don’t know what you would expect from eggless/Safe raw dough. I feel that the price is correct for the amount you get. It is comparable to ice cream costs, but shouldn’t be treated as ice cream. I sugges the “flight” option so you can try more than one flavor. I brought mine home and I take a few nibbles from the fridge throughout the day. It is DELICIOUS. Just like sneaking dough from the fridge as a kid. I don’t suggest eating it all at once. It is much too rich. It should be a small bite, and savored.
Finally! Edible cookie dough that won’t make you sick!! I highly recommended this place! It is so tasty!
Never knew this place existed... Probably a good thing, id be a million pounds. Will visit again
I thought the dough was ok. I think making your own edible cookie dough would be tastier and cost less money. But the dough was tasty and maybe if I’m at the Mall of America again, I’ll stop by to get some edible dough!
Great little place. Staff is friendly and service is quick. If you like cookie dough, it’s worth a stop.
I had to make an account just to review this place! I came in with my son, and he immediately dragged me over the the cookie dough place. (Gotta love little kids) There was a young girl working (I believe her name was JC, or PJ, something like that) who was incredibly kind to my son. She let us try samples and was incredibly patient with my son and myself. We settled for two scoops of the original flavor, and my son absolutely loved it! It really made the rest of our journey to the mall worthwhile, and is why I felt obligated to write this review. Great food, and Great customer service. I would absolutely go back.
Gluten free options!
Yummy cookie dough! The s’mores flavor could have reminded me more of a s’more but that’s just me being picky. The cookies and cream flavor was excellent! In New York I tried Worlds Best Cookie Dough and this is a great second. The texture was fine in my opinion (it’s edible cookie dough, not real cookie dough so not 100% the same). I enjoyed the concept of the cookie dough flights which allows for enjoying many flavors. Staff could have been more friendly, but it was 10 minutes before closing so we’ve all been there and ready to go home. I definitely recommend stopping by here when exploring the Mall of America.
The best part of making homemade cookies is to get a spoonful of fresh cookie dough to eat. If you do this too, then try this! It's rich, so don't get too much! Your wallet will thank you. It's definitely worth it try, a nice afternoon treat. My favorite was the oreo and the (birthday?) cake with sprinkles. YUM! These flavors were easily eaten up by the adults when we all got the sampler. Our least favorite was the smores cookie dough, surprisingly. My kids liked m & m cookie dough. If you like dark chocolate, you may like brownie cookie dough. It was not a flavor I enjoyed but if someone likes a darker, less sweet chocolate, this may be a good flavor. Personally, I would easily return for another go. However, I can see why someone may choose ice cream for a cheaper price.
This is the best stuff ever. It's exactly as delicious as you think it would be. I wish they had one in Arizona. This will have to be a special family treat each time we visit.
I’ve searched the web and many stores and never found a cookie dough that was yummy and safe! Great staff and service! Loved all the flavor options! Great idea!
We got 3 bowls of cookie dough and they made us split it into 3 transactions and made us go to the back of the line each time then ignored us till last even though we wanted to pay together.
Had really high hopes for this place, but the cookie dough just doesn’t taste good. Somehow salty and dry.
Holy cow. First time here. If you have kids, get ready for a sugar crash and order a small (or split the large like 10 ways). Their mixture is way sweeter than even regular cookie dough and seems to use confectioners sugar. Very good. Diabetics beware.
Got a flight of 5 flavors for me and my girlfriend and we ended up throwing it out after a few bites. Shouldn't be around for long with such a low quality product.
Not a great experience Editing here in response to dough dough below: I'll preface this by saying that my review is entirely subjective (as all reviews are) and my review does not mean this place is a two star location. I had a 2 star experience so I left a 2 star review. I was really excited to try dough dough because cookie dough is one of my favorite desserts. As a new customer, I figured it would be best to ask what flavor is good considering I had no knowledge. The only answer I got was "this one is most popular". I was hoping for a bit more insight into which options are most popular and the different flavors they had. But really it's not that big of a deal. I understand this is not some high end bakery and expecting employees to be passionate about their product is unreasonable. When I went to pay, someone, who I now realize probably does not work there, was half leaning on the register on her phone and when I asked her if my used tasting spoon went in this cup at the register she looked at me, smirked, and then walked back into the prep area away from the counter and continued to text. This part of my experience left me a bit confused. Not sure why people who appear not to be employees are hanging around behind the counter. Another worker rung open my order, I paid and that was that. She was great. Now on to the actual product. Obviously it's not real cookie dough because I doubt FDA let's you put eggs in an uncooked product. That said, I was hoping for something a bit more than the sticky play doh that I found myself eating. Not only is the texture off putting but the sweetness is overbearing and I only finished maybe 1/8 of my small cup before tossing in the trash. So there it is, my 2 star experience. Hope you enjoyed the wall of text.
It was so gross. Cookie dough should never be served like ice cream. I tried it once today just so I could give it a shot and I am truly regretting it
HORRIBLE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE I FOUND A FINGER NAIL in my cookie dough many other food places to go to that you'll get much much better service
Cookie dough tasted great! And the service was very nice as well! The sampler is the perfect idea!
Lady was super rude. Rolled her eyes at me constantly. And spoke in a condescending tone to my son, and when I asked for samples she said I couldn’t, even though there was a sign that said I could have five mini scoops. Had to pay extra for two scoops. Overpriced and it wasn’t even that good. Never coming back, so dough dough can kiss my doughy buttchecks.
Love the dough and the service! Big thanks to the kind cashier today!
Horrible experience. Empty calories. Diabetes in a spoon. Got my money back. Thanks for the refund.
It is not an exaggeration to say this is the most disgusting "cookie dough" ever. The texture, taste, and price were all terrible. It was so salty and un-edible that we threw it away after just a few bites. A huge disappointment.
I've been to both the food truck and the MOA location. There are a variety of flavors and you can get a nice sized scoop for about $5. I chose a few different flavors, and even with sharing with another person I couldn't make it through one scoop. The good thing is that you can refrigerate it and save it for later. The cookie dough is definitely thick, rich and sweet. I feel like it's overpriced for just being cookie dough though. I would personally prefer to eat an actual baked cookie, but maybe it's because I didn't grow up eating any cookie dough. Overall, I think cookie dough fans and those with a large sweet tooth will enjoy this place. Just remember that a little will go a long way.
Went in this afternoon. Super friendly young woman. Very patient and kind. Monster was delicious. Will be back for more!
Friendly staff and tasty cookie dough!
So happy that this place got a spot in the mall! I used to go to places the food truck would be just to get some! Delicious!
The worse service of my life, told me I had to wait in line and make 3 separate transactions for each person in my party and would take my sisters order have me pay then go to the back of the line make my other sisters order, pay, and then for myself I had to again go to the back of the line and make a separate order and wait all over again and I saw other people in front of me ring out their parties of 5 all in one transaction but they refused to take all of my families orders even though we were all other and all paid on one check.
Just got some last night, OMG!!! We got the traditional chocolate chip Cookie Dough and it gives me another reason to live lol. And these reviews, some of these people are asking why it isn't cold? Why it doesn't taste like cookie dough ice cream?! Lol it's not ice cream! They serve it like a scoop of ice cream cause that's the style they're going for, but it's not suppose to be ice cream, hahahaha.
I'm a ridiculous edible cookie dough fanatic. I try it wherever I go and make it at home with healthy alternatives. I've sampled many and am very picky. I love Dough Dough's chocolate chip dough, more at MOA than even at the truck. My husband, also picky, loved it...as did our young children. We didn't visit during their opening month to avoid lines, so when we did go the wait was short and sweet. Happy they've found such success! I plan to go back to try more. :)
LOVE! The cookie dough is rich, as expected but take it home and put it in the fridge to consume later. A small lasted me a few days! I once waited over an hour at a food truck festival for Dough, Dough and it was worth the wait! So happy they got a spot in the MOA.
These other people are tripping. This place is flames. I’m obsessed with every flavor. It’s delicious and chewy and all made with love. MUST TRY!
We came to the Mall of America to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The man working was incredibly kind, making nice conversation with us. When we told him it was her birthday, he said ‘well why didn’t you say so!’ She got to choose a free scoop, he decorated it with toppings and sprinkles, got a candle from the back and came out with it lit, sang her Happy Birthday, and made her entire day. Such a sweet person, and very yummy cookie dough too!!
Excellent service! Wish I had the name of the sweet guy who served us so I could mention him and once again say THANK YOU!!
Absolutely amazing experience! First time at Dough Dough and was pleased with entire trip!! Kyle was patient and allowed me to try some of the flavors. He was so kind and the whole place was neat. Most importantly the Cookie Dough was amazing!!!
Expensive, stingy on the goodies, tasted horrible. Woodman's sells much better for less.
It was so nasty i could not finish all of it. So salty cookie dough should never be served with icecream. It was so bad.
Nasty and overpriced
Stopped by here for dessert simply because there was a line and I have a soft spot for cookie dough. They have a big selection available and we went with the 5 flavor taster. I thought it was good value (especially in the MOA) and the flavours didn't disappoint! We had celebration aka Birthday Cake, Puppy Chow, Peanut Butter Monster, Chip City, and to try something very different - Lavender Flowers. All five were delicious including the floral mix (although I love lavender!). Service was quick and friendly as she could be with a line up! And I can see why people line up!
So awesome! Went tastes exactly like cookie dough. Price was the same as ice cream so I'm not sure what people are saying. It was rich but its cookie dough so that make since. So freaking good!
I honestly don't know what people are complaint about on here. This place is AMAZING!! It was very sweet at first, but if you pace yourself its no problem. Dont let the bad reviews deter you. Monster cookie is the best
Amazing service. Kyle and Lonnie are amazing. Love the options for the dough. I can never decide.
Really good! Don’t listen to the bad reviews, this place is awesome!! :) we had some of their cookie dough when we were on vacation, the staff is so kind, and the cookie dough is delicious!! I’ve been looking for a store near us, but it’s hours away! And the price is pretty fair considering where you’re at. You’re at The Mall of America, what do you expect?
This stuff tastes awful :( not worth the money!!
Dough is ok. Even though it's not supposed to be frozen, it should be colder. It was barely room temp. Definitely had better.
My friends and I all got the small cup of dough and felt terrible after eating less then half the cup. Within the first couple of bites all of our stomachs hurt and we had to go to the bathroom ASAP. We have eaten edible cookie dough before and have not felt so sick in our lives. The service was okay. Only one person working, and we stood there and waited for two minutes while the worker was ripping off a pierce of Saran Wrap for a customer. The only good thing was, there was no line at the time. We will not be back. Cinnabon would of been a better choice.
Never been to Minnesota and stopped at the famous Mall of America on a road trip. Paid $17.24 including an 18% tip suggested by their register. Then was charged an extra 50 cents for a cup of tap water. It wasn’t actually as good as raw cookie dough at home. But it would have been a fun memory of a new food we tried if they’d given us a cup of tap water. One star for being kosher certified which I do appreciate.
Great place for dough, Friendly staff and great service. But when you can barely scoop dough from the bottom of the tray I think its time to get a new container of good yummy dough dough.
