A pleasure to work with - they made the whole experience fun and easy. Very helpful with the planning, they listened to our requests and tailored the menu with numbers and foods that we were hoping to have. Of course, the food was really good - lots of compliments from our wedding guests!

I use caterers on almost a daily basis for my job, and I am consistently disappointed with Common Roots. Why did I keep using them for so long? Variety; and the fact that their food is delicious. However, I cannot put up with the unprofessionalism any longer. Almost every order has some problem from wrong delivery to late delivery to rude customer service. Today was the last straw. They arrived 30 minutes late, which delayed our event for 150 people. The delivery person was combative to me and the receptionist, and the catering representative was useless and rude. Whether it's the late delivery person or the incompetent catering rep, nobody can take responsibility, everyone of them has someone else to blame or a story to tell. On top of all that, the food is extremely expensive for what you get. Do yourself a favor and go with French Meadow or Macy's Design Cuisine instead.

Common Roots catered our wedding on Sunday October 8th 2017 at Silverwood park and they were phenomenal. We worked with Leah for the coordination and they are amazing. They have no tasting fee, which is amazing. Their staff was fun, professional and friendly. Many of the guests commented on how much they liked the staff and that the food was the best wedding food they have had. They were professional, communicated well with us during the planning stages and were attentive during the days leading up to the wedding. Common Roots was a contracted caterer with our venue, but I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer for any type of event.
