A great place to have dinner with your significant other, relative, or just to stop in and catch the game at the bar. Great food very unique and we have never gotten a wrong order or a cold dish in the entire 2 years we have stopped in. Recommended if you love Mediterranean dishes. The risotto is my favorite! Also they have gift cards and reserved areas for special occasions

Semi quiet atmosphere. It wasn't too loud, but I wouldn't consider the room quiet. The food was delicious. I'd recommend the risotto. The pork tenderloin was flavourful. I skipped the mango pineapple salsa and requested grilled mushrooms with the tenderloin. I was very pleased with the meal and would have it again. The Caesar salad was better than the typical side salad. It included fresh shaved parmesan and homemade dressing, with the typical ingredients. Ripe Olives were on the side. The dressing tasted heavy with mayo, but was still delicious. I'd visit this restaurant again.

It's a nice Italian restaurant in Hastings. We were driving by when the kids wanted some pasta. The decor is very tasteful. Painting by artists hung in the wall. Decent wine menu. Some fun cocktails. Just by looking at the outside, I didn't realize that it was Italian food until we pulled over to look for nearby restaurant with pasta options. Their bread is delicious to dip in the oil. Their tomato bisque was different than typical soups. The kids enjoyed their dinner and wants to come back. We were there later than typical dinner crowd so it's fairly slow.

Spent $100 a week here for a few weeks, then when getting very bland risotto, not salted filet mignon (and told the lobster I didn't want on it is what makes it LOL), not salted ANYTHING, but worst of all didnt get an entree salad (that was my dinner along with an appetizer and the entree was for my child) so again mommy doesn't eat. Get told can't do nothing but have owner call. Can't give me MY SALAD I PAID FOR? My niece is actually in class in high school with the owner who is her culinary professor, TOLD HIM AND HE STILL DIDNT CALL!!!?? A month later no call, no more 100 dollars PLUS a week from this new family in town. Not to mention the front of house gal isn't very friendly AT ALL.

Our family had a birthday party for everyone who had a recent birthday, within 2 weeks of November 1. The family group was 8 and 4 of them had birthdays. We had the following problems with the grill. 1.They charge extra to separate a meal, so 2 people with small appetites can eat the same thing. 2. We thought they may offer a small desert for the 4 birthday people but they didn't. 3. The food was cold and a few complained about the taste of the food. Service was fine. You may want to find another place to eat!

I've been so busy this season and it was absolutely wonderful that you were able to pick food for us, and everything down to the salad dressing was delicious! That chicken was amazing and I have a couple staff members who are on Keto diets, I totally forgot about - they were amazed because they thought I ordered the bacon wrapped chicken just for them LOL (I was honest, but it worked out so well that you suggested that entree!!) Ordered the grilled chicken panini. I would highly recommend the kitchen slice up the chicken before putting it on the bread. I was very surprised to find half a chicken breast on each half of the sandwich. It made it very bulky and hard to eat.

Dissapointed. Our server couldn't answer questions about the menu and didn't mention the daily specials. Tomato bisque soup was thick enough to be pizza sauce. Duck breast so rare the juice was bloody. Swordfish just lukewarm. Risotto crunchy, starchy, and very bland. Actually the only thing not lukewarm and bland was a steak. Main course delivery slow enough that we didn't bother trying to get anything fixed.

Loved the place, local beer selection and the beer mugs are frost (yummm). Food was excellent (top notch) one thing I would say for a fine dinning in Hastings, I don't think the crowd of the area matches the restaurant. I would pull off the fine dinning off the wall and drop the cost a little and spruce up the inside and make it new and fresh. You would get a younger crowd to stop by and enjoy this wonderful place.

So bummed. Came from Battle Creek for dinner. We were sat right away and the server was very friendly. That was the end of the good visit. It took about 10 minutes to get a small cocktail and a root beer (3 ppl at bar.) Followed by 50 minutes on a pizza and scallop pasta. The scallops were over cooked, but no way were we sending it back. The pizza was simply atrocious. It tasted like expired Spaghetti-Os... literally. Guests all around us complaining to each other.. Could have been a fluke night, but we wont find out.

Great place to go for good meal and friendly staff, especially when kid free! Everything from the drinks to last bite of food was delicious. Drinks: Texas Tea & Sparkling Blue Appetizer: Crab & feta dip Salads / house bread (nice and warm) Entree: Stuffed filet mignon wrapped with bacon. When we showed up at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon we were the only ones in there, even after an hour as we were leaving there were only 5 other tables with customers. Great place, not too busy, reasonably priced, friendly/inviting staff.

Food was average, kitchen was horribly slow and made us late for an event. Both times we have eaten here we waited over an hour for our food with the excuse, that they had an unexpected rush. However, this visit was a Saturday night and there was a free event going on downtown so I am not sure why they would have not expected to be busy. Last time we had reservations for our party but still waited over an hour. We will not be returning, the food is not good enough to justify the wait

Went there with my family for my lunch break. I work just a few stores down (walking distance). It was about 15 minutes before we received our drinks. Looking over the menu, and realized it was quite a bit pricey. However, the next time the waiter came by he showed us that there was a much more reasonable lunch menu. Gave us another 10 minute to look over the small menu. We ordered the " ultimate" grilled cheese, and chicken tenders for our 2 year old. About 25 minutes later we received our food. Grilled cheese was barely melted, and bread had a crunch to it...but was hardly toasted. The chicken tenders were a dark brown color, and quite hard...I'd say slightly over done. The french fries were great...but come on...they were french fries! Waiter asked how everything tasted, my husband said, "so-so". The waiter acted like a jerk after that. In the end, my lunch break lasted for an hour and 15 minutes. Thankfully my boss was cool with the extra 45 minutes added to my lunch break. I was disappointed, because I've heard great things about this place. But I doubt we'll go back.

The food was very good, the atmosphere is great, beautiful bar workmanship, food prices are high not really expect prices this high in a small town like Hastings more like Chicago. that being said, spaghetti and lasagna dishes was very good. we had a better dinner experience here paying $55 for two then in Chicago paying $80 at a high end restaurant. One suggestion, I think dropping the price on the dinners would get more frequent return customers. At the current prices it more of a place to go for special occasions not a normal night out on the town.

One of the ladies driving their catering vans is extremely rude, impatient and mean... She didnt get her way and threw a fit. I think it is very bad to have someone that acts like a 2 year old working for you, she is unprofessional.

I was blown away by the food and wait staff. We both had loaded pub chips for an appetizer and they were out of this world. We followed up with the Oscar (fillet topped with lobster bernais sauce) with salad and risotto. OMG we will be back for sure. We are total food snobs and are hard to impress but we were very impressed. Wish it wasn't so far from where we live.

I've been coming here for what feels like forever and it's my absolute favorite restaurant around! The dishes are flavorful and the staff are so friendly! Although its changed a lot over the years, I still consider it to be a fabulous restuarant. They are also very accommodating to allergies and food sensitivities (I'm gluten intolerant). If I would recommend any dish it would be their beef oscar or gorgonzola oscar, the tomato basil soup is also amazing!

This place should be called the "sluggish grill". Although the staff is friendly, it does not overcome extreme delays from bar orders to food orders. The kitchen can't get food orders out in a timely fashion, and the bartender wandered around aimlessly with orders in front of her. Here is a picture of the empty restaurant, while this was happening. Not even close to being slammed.

we enjoyed a very relaxed atmosphere for my husbands birthday. I highly recommend the chicken marsala. typically the sauce on this is very salty but they have this perfectly balanced. I also enjoyed how the chef cam out to verify that the dish that one if us ordered with the vegan tofu noodles had feta in it. we waited a bit for our dessert however who would remember that when it was so delicious. overall a very pleasant experience.

It's a beautiful restaurant, very upscale. Service was friendly and timely. Menu looks extensive and some unique items. We ordered from their brunch menu, standard egg benedict and cajun shrimp benedict. Both were warm. Both lacked hollandaise sauce. Both did not have poached eggs like I'm used to, they actually were partly fried. We got bacon and red skins on the side. Bacon was kind of fatty and not to crispy. Potatoes were overdone. For as nice as it looks you would expect the food to be the same. We don't live near the area so if we were to go again, we'd probably try a different place.

Service was very slow. There was around 8 total customers. Two customers got up and walked out because they never got waited on. Our meals, seemed like it took forever. Wife's Calamari was way over cooked. My Triple threat was cold and fried were about pee warm. Asked for some ranch dressing and that literally took 6 minutes to get. If this would have been our first time, we would mor go back again. But we will give it one more shot.

Slow service to get the food. We had a group of ten and took over a hour to get the food. All we order was sandwich. When we talked to the Servicer and owner both seem to have a attitude on our comments when we talked to them.
