Great little Potbelly Shop, on 5th Avenue. The staff were pretty nice and quick with the orders. I was pleased. It does get very crowded and hot inside the shop however I guess most people grab a sandwich and go, rather than sit inside like we did. It's worth giving it a try, especially if you haven't been to a Potbelly before. You can make and customize your own sandwich!

My favorite sandwich shop chain by far. Great baked sandwiches, shakes and I love the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. Their soups are tasty, the mac and cheese is excellent and don't forget to try the salads too. I wish they would have brought back the Frozen Raspberry Lemonade this summer. Hopefully next year. I can drink that stuff by the gallon. Please bring it back!

It is easy to enter this Potbelly location when heading east. Use caution when heading west. The parking lot is kept neat and clean at all times. The windows are a pleasure to look at. It is in an inviting venue. What a great interior display. The place is kept in tiptop shape. They have a full line of sandwiches. Their chips are the best! All the way from Louisiana and packed full of flavor. The management and staff at this location are upbeat and in tune with their customers’ needs. I especially enjoyed the giant deli pickle. I have to admit this is the first time I put two and two together and came up with Potbelly’s. There was a potbelly stove in the foyer. I had been imagining…well, we’ll skip that for now. If you’re looking for a good meal and fine people then this Potbelly’s is for you.

Sure, they've got some delicious sandwiches. However, they offer more than just that. Combine those tasty 'wiches with a cup (or bowl if you're hungry) of broccoli cheddar soup, or pair it with a bag of Zapp's potato chips and a fresh baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and you're off to a delicious afternoon. You know, I'm craving a sweet, dessert drink (some like to call these amazing things: milkshakes). Well congratulations! Potbelly has you covered there too! They have a great selection of sweet milkshakes that pair oh so well with their (again) delicious sandwiches. Sure, it's a smidge more expensive than going to (*inhushedwhisiperedtones*) McDonalds. But what you pay extra, it purely made up for in quality ingredients and quality taste. Potbelly is NOT just another sandwich place. It's an excellent one.

There will be long lines at lunch. There is nothing special on the menu. I frankly expected some really good roast/smoked pork belly etc. It's the usual fair of cold cuts like roast beef, turkey, ... The sandwiches are on the smaller side, making them a bit expensive. One can chose between types of bread, which run through a hotel-style toaster adding a little bit of warmth and crunch. Shown is the wrap with roast beef, mayo, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. Somehow, they managed to assemble the sandwich so that the mayo became liquified and ran all over my hands, since the the wrapping paper didn't catch anything. They didn't add any napkins to my lunch bag, and it was hard to locate them in the store. So, this is not a quick lunch for someone risking their office outfit to get ruined. To wash my paws, I had to get the key code for the (one available ladies' bathroom - mens' were out of order) from the counter.

The Philly/Jersey Cheesestake could've had a bit more food for the price. I could've went to Philly and got one with more meat at cheaper price. And it only tasted okay.

ordered a sandwich. the woman making my sandwich placed it on the toaster. Then i see her putting on gloves. I asked her if she had on gloves on when she made my sandwich, she said "of course, why would you ask me that? That's gross" In which i replied i asked because i see that you are now putting on gloves. She smiled then whispered something to her coworker and they laughed. Not sure what she said or if she had gloves on when making my sandwich because you can't see over the counter. But was disturbing

I ordered a sandwich and salad combo off Seemless tonight, and they forgot the sandwhich. I’m sorry, but I don’t know how you forget the actual meal and just deliver someone a side and not notice. The worst part is that I called the store, and the girl put me on hold after I mentioned the Seemless order, then she never came back. Then I called again and nobody answered the phone, it just rang for 5 minutes. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else.

Wow! Horrible phone service. Didn't want to deliver 1 block away! The girl had to ask manager of it was 7 o'clock yet so they didn't have to deliver while I was still on the phone! What is going on with service in NYC?! I love their sandwiches but come on?!? Will not order from here again!

Potbelly is a conveniently located sandwich shop on 35th and 5th with sandwiches slightly better quality than Subway, but 1/2 the size. A great place to pick up food to-go or eat inside. During lunch peak hours, live guitar entertainment is provided. Every time I order A Wreck sandwich ($6) which is filled with salami, roast beef, turkey, ham and swiss cheese with a selection of toppings, mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, Italian seasoning and more. It's around 6 inches, a medium size meal quite filing, but not enough to fully stuff the stomach. The line is rather long during the peak hours, but no longer than 5 minutes. The wait is not bad considering there is live entertainment. Listening to the music drains my stress away and rejuvenates me for a long day ahead. For a cheap alternative to Subway and other sandwich shops, come to Potbelly and you won't be disappointed.

The most yummiest sandwiches I ever tasted! The atmosphere was so cool. It was like being on vacation at a very unique venue. The live entertainment was a nice surprise one of the times because I usually don't see that. Must of been a day picked where they do that. I would recommend this place to all my friends. It was a bit pricey but well worth the excellent food.

I visited potbelly for the first time yesterday. The girl who made my sandwich was very friendly and personable. The sandwich I got was amazing! I was actually on my way to jimmy johns but decided to try potbelly for the first time and am really glad I did. I will definitely be visiting this location regularly from now on!

Potbelly makes a damn good sandwich. The bread is flavorful, the toppings are tasty and the broiler method makes everything taste better. On the negative side, I'm pretty sure their new "Bigs" are a bit sneaky - I got a larger piece of bread, but the same amount of meat as a regular. Maybe it was just my server, but I'm not sure the upgrade was worth it. If I could see them put the meat in, I'd feel more confident they're making the sandwich right and using the fair amount of meat, but who knows what goes on behind that tall counter.

Very nice place for lunch! Love that they toast your sandwich! They also have amazing soups! They have really nice combo's aswell! Soup + half sandwich! There is plenty of room to sit! Very nice milk shakes and they are cheap around $4!! Everything is delicious and the price is reasonable!

Custom sandwiches that are fresh and delicious. Courteous staff (much better than the average NYC indifference or rudeness). They classify roasted red peppers and cucumbers as premium ingredients, and I could not agree more! So good! Loved it and will be back on my next visit.

I came here for a break from an afternoon of shopping in the cold weather. I got myself a soup and a toasted sandwich and it was just right. The chicken noodle soup is packed with hearty ingredients. The turkey sandwich I got was great too; made very nicely and neatly, which is something I am pretty particular about. I had the meatball sandwich on a different occasion and must say that it was delicious and satisfying as well. You can certainly count on this place for a good sandwich.

They were all good an tasty, the only issue being was my sandwich wasn't as tight as I should of been and toppings fell all over trying to uncover it. I really like Potbelly. You get the convenience of going to a sandwich shop with a space that feels more like a small restaurant. The service is fast, sandwiches are delicious (get The Wreck), and portions are just right (I prefer the original, the big is too much).
