Just left dragonmead off of 11 mile. Was at the light at grosebeck and 11.. observed a gentleman in the cold and heavy wind standing on the corner. He was as bundled up as he could be. The driver of the lazybones catering van stops and hands the man in the cold a blanket he had with him. Just enjoyed lazyboens for the first time at dragonmead love their food and much respect for giving the homeless man a blanket!!! Definitely look forward to giving them our business!

If you love BBQ then you've got to go here!! An awesome selection of meats and sides, true comfort food at it's finest. Good for a quick pick up meal or catering for a group, it's sure to please. My favorite is the siracha pork belly, burnt ends, and greens, but I've only scratched the surface on trying everything.

The first time I went, it was EXTRAORDINARY. Seriously extraordinary. Second time, the burnt ends were like burnt rocks, third time (Mothers Day, I spent $44) too heavily seasoned with a few tender pieces in an entire pound. I'm sure they sell a lot of bar b que because there isnt any other place around but if you really want consistently good bar b que, go elsewhere. Disappointing Mothers Day dinner. :(

My friend brought me here a long time ago; as a transplanted Texan, I'm spoiled when it comes to BBQ and I am totally taken with Lazy Bones. Their meats, and poultry is superb. Their service staff is always friendly, helpful and efficient. I only gave it five stars because the rating doesn't go to ten! Well worth it and highly recommended.

I have given this place chance after chance and every single time, they STILL mess up my order in one way or another. They either don't cook my food well done like I've asked, forget my sauce, or forget to give me my desert. It's just bad customer service. I refuse to come back knowing each time I'll be disappointed. What a shame. The food (when cooked correct) is a 8 out of 10. The customer service is a 2 out of 10. I wont be back They need new employees and new management who understands that the customer needs to feel welcomed and to care and cook/pack the food accurately! $17+ isn't cheap for a one person meal! DO BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT NAME BTW Bcuz the employees are LAZY BONES INDEED!!!!!!!

Their BBQ is great, their prices are reasonable and they have a good size menu…this is what is accounting for their good review. However, I don’t think I have ever ordered from them and not had something on my order messed up, whether it is completely forgetting to provide an ordered (and paid for) item or not complying to special requests. I would recommend them, just don’t make any special requests and check your order before you leave. Don’t do delivery since that takes much longer than the time they quote and then you are SOL when your order is messed up.

Really really good. We got the Texas Sampler for $40 which fed 3 with plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. My favorite was the chicken, sliced brisket, and sausage. I loved the mac and cheese and bbq baked beans. I was eyeing the superman cheesecake but just had to stop... I highly recommend this place.

This place has decent food. Make sure you call your order in ahead of time or you will wait forever. The bacon fried rice is honestly the most delicious thing on the menu. They sell Faygo, which is a huge bonus. The unprofessional "urban explorer artwork" is less to be desired, but hey.. we're not really there for the atmosphere. It's the go-to BBQ if I'm not making my own.

I had the smoked chicken it was not dry as other reviewer said. It was fantastic. The mac and cheese and the fried bacon and rice were excellent.. The side orders were great. To the people who did not rate the food good they are idiots. I give it 5 plus. I eat out every day. I will be back to try everything they have to offer. Bring it on lazybones well done .

My favorite bbq spot hands down. For anybody complaining about the prices, check out some other places around town. These prices are pretty reasonable, you simply cannot afford to eat out. I've travelled all through the South for work and this place is as good as any home cooked meal or bbq joint in the South, if not better. Keep up the good work guys!

➡ 04-10-2019 I don't know why this place is so overrated....... Besides being in a run down part of town, my experience here was less than satisfactory. The brisket lacked good taste & was pretty tough. The potato wedges were not good either. You can tell that the oil used to cook that stuff hasn't been changed for a long time. 4 hrs passed & i still have that terrible stale aftertaste from eating those wedges in that old oil. Unacceptable. To the mgmt, I strongly advise changing the oil on those fryers more often, that would be a good start. Coming back for another try?..............unlikely.

I finally tried this place after my coworkers were raving about it and I must say it was Delicious! I ordered the Jumbo Smoked Wings, Beef Brisket and Parmesan Garlic fries with garlic honey barbeque sauce.The wings were nice sized and seasoned very well. The brisket was tender and flavorful. The fries had a nice crisp to them even with the Parmesan garlic sauce.

It was very disappointing! The rub on the ribs was fantastic but the ribs were very dry as was the smoked chicken. The cornbread was hard, dry and flavorless. The pecan pie was like rubber. I feel that if things hadn't been old they might have tasted better.

So..I go in a place my order which was close to $78. I dont live close at all and I take all the food all the way out to Chesterfield during rush hour! I get home and my whole platter of meat was missing. I called and the manager who actually made me a new platter and brought it my house in Chesterfield with extra stuff too. I have to say I was extremely impressed. The food was delicious too.

Best bbq I've tried in the area. I've ordered both pick up and delivery - it is so convenient they deliver btw! For those nights that pizza won't cut it. Delivery was very fast and delivered warm. In the store, employees are efficient and friendly. My order has ALWAYS been accurate. On to the food: The ribs are on point. I think I'm addicted. I've also tried and thoroughly enjoyed the burnt ends, another new favorite. Their signature Lazybones sauce and the Texas Spitfire are both very good. Some of my favorite sauce I've tried to date. I always make sure to order the cornbread, which is a tasty addition. Had the Mac and Cheese once which was ok, expected better... But I don't go here to fill up on the sides, the top notch BBQ keeps me coming back for more :)! I look forward to trying more from the menu.

Ordered 1lb of burnt ends and garlic Parmesan wedges. After a short wait... 10-12 mins I received my takeout. Staff was very friendly. Headed home to eat but it smelled so good we had to try some in the car. Luckily for us, we opened the wedges and realized that they had given us the wrong flavor. Turned around and went back. Upon hearing the problem, they remade them ASAP, no questions asked. The lady manager gave me two root beers on the house and a card for a free sandwich. Great service. The garlic Parmesan wedges are fantastic. The burnt ends are very good, although I don’t believe they are truly “burnt ends”... they seem to be chunks of brisket. We will be back soon.

Fantastic food. Only negative is when I called to place an order for the first time, the employee lacked customer service skills. He was very clipped with his answers and didn't elaborate. Just simple yes/no. That doesn't help when I want you to explain what pig fries are. Once you know what you want, and can just tell them your order it becomes a 5 star place.

This is the second year I've had lazy bones for the office Christmas party. Everything was ready when it was supposed to be. The customers loved it and I had plenty of leftovers the next day. Food from here is very good for bbq.

Food is excellent, mac -n- cheese is amazing! Dine-in experience leaves a little to be desired. There are a couple of outdoor tables, but only a counter inside with 5-6 stools. So if its cold or raining, plan on getting it to go.

I placed an order online and received a call within five minutes indicating that they sold of the brisket. The rep was very apologetic. I ordered tips and the broasted chicken. Both were tender and very flavorful. I wish the ribs tips had more smoke, but it was very tender and juicy. I can't wait to try the brisket.

I went lastnight got my order never looked at it until i was home. No sauce ! Seriously its about the sauce too. My end result was the employee to add an insult and offer a percentage off. 25% at that. I can not believe you would even begin to think that is ok. Maybe slow down and pay attention to what you are doing. Now that was an entire meal waisted . so how about my entire bill now? Unreal!

I Ordered the sample platter to try all there food, ya well now I guess I know they don't have any good food. It was so dry and overcooked and burnt I honestly would like to give less than a star but I can't. The food is not good at all it truly isn't, the cornbread is also the dryest most crumbly bad cornbread, which is really disappointing because I love cornbread. Just overall terrible food

Everything tasted great and the staff was very friendly. We were there for our first time (my wife and I) and they helped us select sauces. My wife loved everything and said this is how Brisket is supposed to be! We will definitely be back! Btw, if you're debating on getting a second meat, do it! The Cajun sausage was delicious and so were the collard greens! 5 stars!

Pretty good! Nice smoke and rub flavours. We had it catered for a holiday gathering. I had the brisket - 4/5. Lots of flavor, but was not as tender as I wanted. Decent marbling. I had the pulled pork - 4/5. Again, darn good flavour. A bit dry for me, though. Tried a couple sauces - Texas Spitfire and Honey Sriracha. Both were 2/5. Thought the meat was better without them. Mac n cheese - 4/5. My fave part. Was quite good.

No matter how many times I try this place which is not very often I'm never satisfied. I've tried it being catered to my place of employment (the chicken was undercooked), one other time and today I placed a carryout order. So three times total and each time it hasn't been as great as everyone claim. I tried Beef Brisket, Rib Tips, Mac & Cheese & Cornbread today.. This has to be the driest brisket I ever had with no flavor. The rib tip wasn't that bad but it wasn't that good either. However the Mac and cheese was great and the cornbread was ok.. I won't be trying this place again sorry

Local customer Start off with the negative. Ribs were dry and over cooked, corn bread was very dry no moisture. The mac and cheese is from costco..Dry with little flavor Positive- pulled pork was tender and shreaded tasted great. Spent 55$ and was not even close to satisfied. Will not be back
