My daughters wedding was held a Cherry Basket Farms. The venue was great the service was exceptional! The wait staff were pleasant and very accomindating. I cannot say enough about the food. The hors d'oervres and the main meal which was steak and walleye were served hot and very tasty. Cammie was very helpful during in the planning and during the event day. Thanks for a job well done!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently had my wedding ceremony and reception at Cherry Basket Farm. Words cannot express how wonderful everything was and how thankful I am for the entire staff at Cherry Basket Farm for helping to create the best day of my life! The setting at Cherry Basket Farm is an absolute dream, it is simply picture perfect. Then, you have the most professional and kind people to work with. Cammie Buehler could not have been more helpful. She was there to bounce questions off of from the very beginning of my wedding planning all the way up to the very end of our wedding night. I did not have to worry about one thing the night of my wedding, she was there to assist with all of our vendors. She is so organized and made me feel 100% assured that everything would run smoothly, and it certainly did! Then, to top it all off Andy Schudlich and his kitchen staff prepared the most amazing food! My guests are all still talking about it! It is truly unlike any other wedding meal, and it was all timed perfectly!! I don't know many brides who even get a chance to eat dinner at their own wedding. However, my husband and I would not have it any other way because the short ribs that Andy prepared were out of this world! I would recommend Epicure Catering and Cherry Basket Farm to anyone and everyone. It is a very special place!!

As a wedding photographer I've seen it all and there aren't any wedding venues that I enjoy photographing more than Cherry Basket Farm and there isn't any food that appreciate eating more than Epicure Catering's. The team at Epicure Catering is full of absolute rockstars. We hired them for a wedding weekend earlier this year and the execution and presentation were entirely perfect - from a traditional Maine lobster bake, to a 3-course Italian dinner, Indian appetizers, beautiful cocktails, delicious desserts... even bringing a hometown favorite to the dance floor - Skyline Chili! The did it ALL, flawlessly. The entire team has amazing energy and were a pleasure to work with. Highly, highly recommend!

My daughter's wedding was at the CB Farm and the location is simply beautiful. There is ample space for attendants and the bride /groom to prepare for the wedding. The weather was perfect and set up and seating for the ceremony was handled by the venue. It was a beautiful ceremony outside. Following this guests were treated to cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. The alcohol was paid for by us but the food was provided by Epicure catering - they were tasty and many guests commented positively on the hors d'oeuvres. After dinner there was a dj and dancing upstairs in the barn - it was fun and a perfect setting. We were able to decorate and the caterers were gracious in allowing us to decorate and personalize what we wanted. The only negatives with our event was the dinner. The comments from guests were negative and unfortunately we were underwhelmed. At the dinner one member of the waitstaff was rude to a guest at our table who asked about nuts on the salad as she is allergic to some nuts, when she asked the waitress what kind of nuts were on the salad she said she didn't know; and followed with a comment that they can't make their food to accommodate everyone. I was shocked to hear this. It set the tone for the remainder of the meal at our table. I will compliment the caterer on providing a fruit place for our young daughter as it was very helpful and the bulk of her meal for the evening.

Our family wedding at Cherry Basket Farm in July was everything we hoped it would be. Our daughter had a clear idea of the setting she wanted for her wedding day: natural surroundings for the wedding ceremony, wide-open spaces for conversation and lawn games, plenty of space for dinner and an awesome barn for music and dancing. We were beyond thrilled with the Cherry Basket team. Together, they truly created the most perfect wedding day, exceeding all expectations. Andy, we have no idea how you made 175 pieces of chicken taste like they were made to order, but it was no doubt the best wedding food we have ever tasted. The vegetables were so fresh and delightful. You really haven't had a tomato until you taste one picked that morning. From the customizable menu to the talented kitchen staff, this venue is farm to table perfection. Cammie, the most responsive, cool, calm and collected coordinator of all time. It was a treat working with her; no ask was too big or too small. Her emails were very timely and always accommodating. We’ll miss her now that the planning process is over! On the day of, the staff was wonderfully respectful, they even made sure we (the bride and groom) knew when our food was served. Thank goodness we didn’t miss out! Consider us part of the official Cherry Basket fan club… our friends and family can’t stop talking about our magical barn venue and beautiful Northern Michigan. Wishing we could relive our day over and over again!

My daughter was married in August and insisted on a farm wedding. I was very apprehensive about entertaining in this setting because she is a doctor and her husband a corporate professional. Cammie and her staff exceeded our every expectation for an upscale, elegant event. The farm to table theme was executed to perfection. We happened upon Cherry Basket Farm and Epicure Catering in our search for the perfect Northern Michigan wedding venue and could not have been happier with our choice. Cammie Buehler takes customer service and attention to detail to the highest possible level and created a memorable event that still has our wedding guests talking long after the lights went out in the barn on our wedding night. The food was unbelievably well thought out; completely considerate of our personal tastes and style - to a level I never could have imagined (that too, has still got people talking)! The combination of natural and aesthetic beauty at the farm lends itself as the perfect backdrop to a classy, yet comfortable site for a gathering of family and friends. Our wedding day was perfect, in no small part due to the hard work of Cammie and her staff. She was so incredibly accommodating of our requests, and so incredibly thoughtful with her recommendations. Mention it once, and it was done - it was never a question of "what if?" - simply rather "don't worry, I'm on it!" What a wonderful experience for such a special day in our lives. From the start, Megan and Nate wanted an outdoor/barn setting, a casual feel to the whole day, and to showcase local food from Northern Michigan. Cammie Buehler and Andy Shudlich were wonderful to work with, took care of every last detail, and made the day a completely worry free and fabulous celebration! The venue was beautiful, showing off the best Leelanau has to offer, and Andy's food was out of this world. Before our wedding, we had heard great things about the food and the service. Our already high expectations were completely blown away! Every single bite of food was AMAZING! We are still having guests contact us, just to say how much they loved the food. Cammie, Andy, and their whole team were nothing more than polite, friendly, and so helpful! And they did everything they could to keep the day running smoothly. They took the extra time to put up decorations we made ourselves around the venue and even during our planning process, they were more than organized, attentive, and quick to respond. The venue itself looks amazing! We loved the rustic look of the barn and all the buildings on site. We could not have picked a better spot for our big day. I simply cannot find the words to accurately express how much we loved our wedding at Cherry Basket Farm! From the beginning of the planning process to the day after our wedding, we were continuously impressed with our experience. We wanted to put an ethnic spin on our multicultural wedding, so Cammie and Andy presented us with a menu of modern cuisine with a Pakistani and Polish spin, complete with considerations to dietary restrictions and vegetarian options for our guests. The execution of this was flawless! Ours was easily the most creative and delicious food we’d ever eaten at a wedding, and our meal rivaled one of the best we’ve ever had! We live in Chicago, and are not strangers to fine dining and delicious cuisine, and it was very important to us to have a superb meal at our wedding. Cammie and Andy blew us away! I wish I could have our dinner all over again- it was that good! Our guests are still raving about the deliciousness and beautiful presentation! The abundance of food seemed never-ending, and Cammie and Andy’s professional staff were happy to meet our requests. We were greeted with a platter of hors d’oeuvres brought to our sweetheart table, and when we expressed to our server that we never had a chance to try the fish display from the cocktail hour (we were busy taking photos on the gorgeous grounds of the Farm), a plate full of inventive, smoked fish delicacies was whisked over to us. We was so impressed when Andy came to our table to personally see if we were enjoying the food, if everything met our expectations, and if there was anything else we’d like. Cammie checked on us often as well, assuring that we were enjoying ourselves. The location of the Farm is absolutely beautiful. It’s serene and spacious, but full of the warmth and love of family and friends. You definitely get the sense that this is a special place where many people have made wonderful memories over beautiful meals. Cammie graciously let us decorate the barn, helped line the chairs for our ceremony with bubble containers for the guest to use afterward, and also set out decor for our tables. Since the weather was cold, windy and rainy on our wedding day, out ceremony was moved into the barn, and we were able to use the doorway as our beautiful backdrop. This was a lovely alternative to the gorgeous outdoor ceremony site. Aside from the barn and ceremony site, the farmhouse and separate “Loveshack”, for the groom to get ready in, provide ample and lovely spaces prior to the ceremony, making the location completely seamless in meeting our wedding day needs. The next day when we came to pick up our decorations, everything had been neatly and securely packed for us, so that all we had to do was load up our car. This helpful and kind gesture was beyond out expectations. No matter how busy or rushed Cammie was during our event, I would have never known. Anytime we needed anything, she would accommodate us with a smile and calm, unhurried demeanor. Cammie, Andy and their staff are some of the most professional people we’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. I can honestly say that nothing went wrong on my wedding day, and if it did, I certainly will never know because Cammie truly took care of everything so that we could enjoy our special day. The excellence in service and unparalleled cuisine that Epicure Catering provides is unbelievable. Cherry Basket Farm is a truly magical place to get married. I would so love to experience my wedding again-it was the best day of my life-and I’m honored to have worked with Cammie and Andy- they made it flawless! As for the day of, I did not have to worry about a thing (every Bride's dream!), everything was well-executed and put together perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful set-up! The kitchen staff, led by Andy Schudlich, are a dream come true. They prepared the most delicious food for us and our guests. Not only was the food delicious, but it was tailored to meet our personal taste. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was and the constant re-recognition by our guests is well-deserved and earned!

Wow. Working with Epicure was a pleasure, from start to finish. Cammie and Andy helped make our dream become a reality. Food = amazing. Honestly, cannot say enough about the food. The taste. The presentation. Everything. It was all amazing. As a native Mainer, I was a little nervous about hosting a Lobster bake in Northern Michigan. With Epicure's help, we were able to coordinate lobsters from Maine, Oyster's from MA, potatoes, and all the fixings. Our guests were amazed. Epicure (Cammie, Andy, and the team) made planning fun. And importantly, made the end result something that we were so proud of and something that our guests absolutely loved.

If I could give this venue/company 10 stars I would, and my husband would agree. We had our wedding at Cherry Basket Farm just over a month ago and wish we could re-live this day 100 times over again. Cammie and Andy run the most wonderful and professional business and from the moment we met them it was nothing but a great experience. Cammie is extremely straight forward and tells you exactly like it is, which we found VERY helpful in the wedding planning process. This was a destination wedding for us so we had to work with Cammie via mostly e-mail. This can be very difficult when you have a zillion bridal questions but Cammie always had an answer and she helped make our planning a piece of cake. I never imagined planning a wedding could be so easy but Cammie is a dream and does all of the hard work! I wanted to reach out and hug her through my computer screen every time I received an e-mail from her. The wedding itself was absolutely amazing. We set up basics the Friday before and their team was super helpful providing ladders, nails, anything we needed. There were a few minor glitches on our wedding day when our bus company dropped off guests an hour before the wedding-- Cammie saved the day by setting out alcoholic beverages in cute little buckets around the yard so guests had cocktails during our ceremony (which was one of the things we got complimented most on funny enough!) From then on the compliments continued piling in, ranging from the beautiful setting, to the wonderful staff, to the BEST WEDDING FOOD YOU CAN IMAGINE. Seriously, it was so good I asked for left overs the day after our wedding :) They went above and beyond our expectations. We had a very large thunderstorm pass over our wedding during dinner which only lasted about 15 minutes but the team was beyond prepared and flipped the venue quickly while providing huge golf umbrellas to keep our guests dry. They covered our convertible car with a tarp and moved our cigar station into the barn- I didn't even notice them doing any of this they were so quick! The day after the wedding we arrived thinking we would have to do a ton of work taking all of the decor down, etc. but when we got there everything was taken down packed neatly in nice organized boxes. We chatted with Cammie and Andy, grabbed some leftover food and loaded up are car and left in under an hour. (We could have stayed longer chatting, they are just too great). Overall this experience was truly perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing. I miss my weekly emails with Cammie and like I said, I wish I could relive this experience a zillion more times! 10 stars (AT LEAST) for Cammie and Andy and their amazing team :)

To describe Cherry Basket and Epicure Catering as exquisite is an understatement. Absolutely everything about this place, the food, and the owners/creators, is phenomenal. As you enter the property, you are instantly drawn in by the historic barns, the fields, and the cherry trees. It is filled with a peacefulness and beauty unique to this location. Cammie is attentive to every detail and has a way to make all feel welcome and like you have known her for years. She is able to make your vision come to life in a relaxed and easy manner. She handles every detail from answering each question you may have to helping serve the food to make sure each thing goes as planned. Andy creates such phenomenal looking and tasting menu of locally sourced food. It is so amazing to watch food being picked from the fields surrounding the farm and even more wonderful tasting such fresh food. Andy was easy to work with as we created a customized menu. Cherry Basket is such a unique and top notch venue that nothing else can compare. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a venue for a special occasion from a wedding to a intimate dinner. There was absolutely nothing we would have changed about our wedding held at Cherry Basket.

I wish I had the proper words to say how amazing Cherry Basket Farms is. My husband and I were married there in May 2019, and I truly cannot make one mark against it. Cammie and Andy are a true joy to work with. Cammie somehow made the process of planning a wedding not feel so overwhelming, which was especially shocking for someone like me that did not have a wedding coordinator. She was there for questions I had all along the way, and on the day of she was an absolute superstar. Andy has a talent for food that anyone would dream of having at 5 star restaurant, let alone their wedding. I heard multiple remarks from guests stating "this is not just amazing wedding food, this is amazing food PERIOD." They say a bride and groom won't eat on their wedding day, but I think that's because they've never tasted Andy's cooking. I had two full plates, was well beyond stuffed, and I don't regret it one bit. Their staff members were incredibly kind, and this location is simply a dream. Whether you are planning on having your wedding here, or planning on attending one of their amazing Farm-to-Table dining experiences, you will feel as though you are spending one day in a fairytale. We're so grateful that we were able to spend one of the most special days of our lives at such an unforgettable place. We love you Cherry Basket Farm and Epicure!!!

Venue: if you are looking for a farm/barn wedding this location could not be more perfect. From the cute farmhouse for girls to get ready in to the catering kitchen being housed in another beautiful looking farmhouse (no catering tent here!). It fulfilled everything I was looking for and more! Food: One of the most important components of our day was the food and beverage. We own an organic spirits company so this was top priority. Our passed and stationary hors d'oeurves were delicious! I have a thing for not only my husband but also specialty deviled eggs and they nailed them! The salad and entree were seasonal, delicious and plated beautifully. My guests were raving about the beef and mushrooms. What I loved is knowing that our food was sourced locally and it was very culinary focused. The only thing I will say is I would have preferred more sauce on our delicious walleye but that is really a personal preference. Service: I can't say enough, the wait staff were attentive and responsive when myself and others asked for anything. I liked that they wore name tags that were easy to read. This made it easy to ask for items. My guests have also raved about the service and they were lined up ready to service immediately following the ceremony. Management: I am an event planner in Chicago and working with Cammie was easy. She knows her venue well and knows what works and what does not. But she was also flexible in making all of my requests work. All and all this beautiful location was everything I have hoped it would be and I wish I could do it all over again! Thanks Cherry Basket!
