I flew in for a wedding on August 5th in Saginaw Michigan and was more than dissapointed in this caterers service, food quality, and professionalism. The inside bartender was serving to minors as young as 13 years old that I seen with my own eyes and the outdoor bartender was rumored to have given 8 9 and 10 year old girls the apple pie monnshine shots that the bride made as party favors. Also the chef was a no show. Instead 3 young boys cooked. They did not keep the condiments refreshed. And they allowed the crowd of guests to begin eating before the bride returned from pictures. That was a first for me. Plenty of guests were talking about jow awful it was to disrespect thw bride like this. So instead of the guests waiting on the bride she waited 30 minutes by a bathroom for everyone to grab their plates. Unreal. Also when they left they took all the buns cheese and toppings for the burgers. Also unbelievable. I know the bride was also told she was getting fresh food. Everything was frozen or out of packages from Gordon food services. And the lemonade tasted like it was mixed with hard water. The kids wouldnt even drink it. Again unbelievable. Especially for the price. I honestly would sue this company if I was the bride for ruining the night I spent 25 grand on. Im sorry Brooke they did this wrong by you. Smh. Buyer beware.

I am going to give this company a 2 star rating because I did enjoy their food, however the professionalism of this company is non-existent. They desperately need to learn to follow orders, label their food properly (especially when vegetarian options are involved), and to check IDs.

We were notified of a law suit that was taking place between and bride and a groom with this cater in November 2018. We were told if we would like to cancel this cater the venue would cover the $500 that according to his contract he would keep if we canceled. I paid $850 so Brian was to return $350 since we canceled well in advance of the 180 days he required per his contract. We contacted him by phone, email and mail with letters letting him know we were cancelling. He is now fighting the credit card company saying he does not owe me the $350 which he clearly does according to his own contract. I now have to provide all the paper work emails and everything else to get the $350 that he owes me. I understand there are several more people having to fight to get there money back. Not sure why someone has a contract that they make you sign and then they don't honor it. At this rate I am really glad this happened before our daughter's wedding. I would not recommend this cater to anyone.

Brian and his staff were very professional, friendly and courteous throughout our whole planning process. They were always available for questions and provided an exceptional taste testing experience. Upon receiving our final quote, I noticed a mistake in the numbers and Brian fixed it, no questions asked. My only complaint is that the food was served kind of cold at my reception. We told them that we wanted dinner to be ready at 2pm but they showed up at 1pm with the food already ready. We were right on schedule like we had talked about, and they seemed to have gotten their times mixed up, so by the time the food was served, it was room temperature at best. The food is exceptional, but it definitely tasted much better warm at the taste testing than it did at the reception. The experience leading up to the wedding was top-notch, it just seemed to fall short when the actual event came. If you decide to hire Brian and his team, make sure you verify that they have the correct dinner time so you can have the food warm as it is supposed to be!

I’m getting married in October and my experience so far has been amazing! Brian makes sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. The taste testing was literally amazing! The food is excellent! We are excited to have him for our big day. Home made food, flavor is amazing! Best chicken I’ve ever had!

We used this facility for a luncheon after my grandmothers funeral. The food was alright but during our meal the smell of sewage started filling the dining room. The smell in the bathroom was fetid. The staff did not apologize nor tell us why this was happening, just sprayed febreze and left.

Our food for our wedding was delicious and affordable! The only thing I would've changed was that the roast beef was sliced thick and hard to cut with plastic silverware! But everyone loved the food!

We had our wedding in Lainsburg and the location only worked with Brian as their caterer. I was a little worried at first because I didn’t have the option to try multiple caterers. However Brian and his team were great! The food tasting made me a little worried with the options but on our wedding day the food turned out great. Brian also was accommodating and let us add things to our dishes that normally do not go. We did plated, and there was only one mix up when the staff was asking guests what they ordered when we specifically made large place cards that stated what they ordered. But besides that the staff was very professional and the food turned out awesome. The cake cutting turned out great too. We would recommend them!

We have had this family owned caterer do all of our family events... from weddings to graduations to birthdays... amazing food and professional service. I'm not sure I would give the other review much thought as it sounds like a person who likes to extremely exaggerate things. Things that may not have been in the caterers control? All I know is they have done SEVERAL events for our family and we are always more than happy with the service and will always recommend Country Spice... you have to try the Morse chicken ;)

Brian and his staff were courteous and professional from day 1 for our April 2018 wedding. Even though Brian was unable to attend our event, the staff he sent to serve on our big day was top notch! Truley the best food and catering service around. Everything is delicious, and cooked to perfection. The chicken is their own , wonderful recipe that will be remembered and craved later :) . I love how wonderful the staff is. Even when they are busy they go above and beyond to make things work for you. Everyone is talking about how great the food was. Country Spice Catering is Excellent!
