Great local restaurant! Delicious food, large portions and great service make this place a favorite when visiting Holland. On our first visit, I ordered the perch dinner, which was white flaky goodness. Dinners come with two sides and bread. Our second visit, I ordered the wet burrito and it didn't disappoint. It was huge! We had a party of 6 and everyone was satisfied. Oh- the lava frozen cocktails are to die for.

This was A nice beach type restaurant. The food was pretty good. I was honestly surprised at the lack of options on the menu. If you haven't tried it and are in the fence, you're fine falling either way.

This place is beautiful with their newly renovated interior the food is spot on and their daily specials are out of this world. They have BBQ pulled Pork all you can eat on Thursdays and they have a great drink menu. You can also by full pans of the pulled pork to take home and we’ve done this for many parties at home. One small downside they are not open on Sundays.

Little bit of a wait, but we were there on a Saturday evening so that's expexted. Kept us informed about table availability. Super clean, staff was amazing, and I loved the layout. Never had to ask for anything. Refills were automatic, and the prices of food were much cheaper than I thought it would be. Kids meal with drink $5.00!! Everyone was very friendly.

Seemed to be more of a tourist attraction than anything. Food was OK at best. The $45 ribeye was overcooked and one of the least impressive steaks I've had. Like Applebee's level of mediocre. Staff were friendly and the venue was very nice. I'd recommend it for drinks and apps but not for dinner.

Very long wait time. We stopped here for a drink and appetizers between a wedding and reception, ordered food and beverages within 5 minutes of sitting down and waited about 15 minutes for the drinks, then another 30 for the food. 45 minutes to prepare french fries seemed a little ridiculous. That being said the food was good and the lava flow was delicious.

Truly good burgers here! Attentive staff (we sat at the bar) so attentive bartender. There is a nice ambiance too. Nice find close to the beach and Lake Makatawa so great place to grab lunch or dinner. Good alternative to the equally fantastic DeBoers next door, but the burgers at Beechwood; fantastic! Mmhhm!

Very good. They did a wonderful job serving our group of 26 family store from a pre determined menu. It's like a buffet at your table! I carried out the Dutch Broaster Chicken for my husband and it was delicious. Plus he said the bread they sent with it was amazing because they sprinkled it with seasoning too. The renovation makes it so warm and inviting. Totally a great place for anyone in the Holland area.

We like to go Friday nights for the all you can eat white fish. My daughter loves the mac and cheese bites. They have a good beer and wine list. It has great atmosphere. Good for a romantic dinner for 2, a family meal, or a large gathering.

The peal & eat shrimp and the butterfly shrimp are very good. The smoked pulled pork is terrific! Unfortunately they do not know how to cook a steak. They couldn't get mine medium rare. Even after trying 3 times with 2 different pieces of meat. The manager was very polite and comped me the meal. When I got back to my hotel, the hotel manager told me the same thing happened to his wife with the steak. So I just won't order one next time I go. Yes, I will go back. Nice atmosphere, porch seating available, and very nice staff.

This place was super yummy and then you see the price and it's even better! The hillbilly fries, smoky wings, beechwood mushrooms, and pretzel bites (all in the Passable Platter) each were really good as well as the Bourbon Pork Ribeye. Highly recommend!

Very good all-around restaurant. The whitefish was excellent. Love the sides available with dinner. Also the craft beer selection is very good. And they have flights available. Make sure you could.e early or plan for a wait. The staff are super friendly. Can't wait to eat there again. Holding back a star for future visits.

The Beechwood Grill has a very good menu selection and also has dauly specials. The food and service has been consistently great - it is one of our favorite go-to's for dinner! FYI - The Beechwood Grill is not open on Sunday's.

We were seated at 6:45 and we ordered promptly. Appetizers came quickly however our food did not arrive until 7:55. Disappointing because it tasted great but I don't know if we will be back due to not wanting to wait over an hour for food with young kids.

Great place to stop in for lunch, I had the Italian turkey club sandwich and let me tell you, that was the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time. The fries were awesome, I am most definitely coming back again gotta try the steak. I mean if the sandwich was that good, the steak must be out of this world.

I would give it 1 star, food was okay but the service is too bad. We had our reservation at 7:30pm to sit outside, but table was not ready. They mentioned that someone else’s reservation came first and since they came in late, we had to wait until they were done. So we had no choice but to dine inside. The food was not so great. My dish was okay, and food ordered by my friends was not good at all. The food is not worth the cost. I don’t recommend this at all.

Second time here, decided to give it another try after having ok tasting food last time. Decided to order broasted chicken all white meat which is two bucks more. Cannot eat dark meat. Waitress gave us all the wrong soups. Then brought out our meals . My plate had mixed dark and white meat. Immediately told her about the mistake and she said I had ordered mixed. I told her I had pointed at the menu and specifically showed her that I wanted all white for two bucks more. So I gave my dark pieces to sister. Sis ordered mashed potatoes but got nasty cold seasoned fries. When check arrived, we noticed we were charged for extra drink, which she did fix. But, that said, chicken breast was fantastic as were potatoes. Was hoping we'd like it, but won't come back. Sorry.

Stopped here on the way back from the beach. Lots of good options for drinks and food. I tried the watermelon rum fizz and that was great. Loved sitting on the deck during dinner. Only complaint was that my friend ordered a steak medium. Had a medium flag in it but when cut into was well done, not even a hint of pink. Waitress was great and brought a new steak. Second one was not medium. More of a medium well but had a good flavor so my friend didn't want to say anything a second time.

Nice little restaurant with great atmosphere. We got there at peak time and it was pretty busy, hostess told is about 20 minutes and took down my phone number. They texted me probably 10 minutes later that our table was ready. Service was prompt and menu had a good variety of both types of foods and prices. I got a NY strip steak that claimed to be wood grilled, and I definitely tasted that in the steak. It was cooked well but seemed to be a little under seasoned. My wife got a burger which was frankly just mediocre. The buns were toasted perfectly and the cheese was melty, but the burger itself just had very little flavor and thus the 4 star rating. I would go back and try it again if the opportunity presented itself, but i would not choose the burger again.

Good service, was nice having outdoor seating (except the chairs are terribly uncomfortable). Food tasted decent, but nothing exciting - average at best. Had perch with soggy breading and a loaded baked potato that was old/cold enough that the melted cheese had solidified. Probably would try someplace else if I were back in town.

Over all the experience was good. What took us there was our wedding reception. The food was foremost very good. Chicken , steak, white fish were great. Execution of service was off now and then. We selected family style. Bowels of salad were placed on the table, but without salad forks to serve, (needed to advise staff). Some tables ran out of bread (needed to advise staff), refills on coffee (needed to advise staff). Quick to clear the tables of dishes and request for condiments. Overall, pretty good, perhaps more communication prior to the event then to assume too much of the staff.

Very lovely place to eat at, especially outside. Great servers with many gluten free options. Was skeptical at first, but turns out the food was really good and for a really affordable price. It was very dimly lit inside though that could have been for the fact that everyone was sitting outside and no one was inside. They serve lunch from 11-4 and while it lacks in variety, the food is good.

Everything leading up to the main courses was great, the drinks, service, salad, all good. The rolls were hard but acceptable I suppose. We got the local favorite slow cooked pot roast and whitefish. We were quite disappointed! The pot roast was smothered in gravy and the fish was not lightly battered as the menu indicated but more like fried greasy bar food. The description of the pot roast on the website menu reads, "over mashed potatoes and wheat toast, served with one side" ...nothing about gravy, let alone being drowned in it! The environment and drinks are really good but I will never return for a meal.

Tonight service was not the normal great service we normally have our server never brought me a refill it took over 40 minutes for our food to come out the people that sat and ordered after us got food before us and she came back to see how our food was about 5 min after getting it and we didnt see her again.
