Ken's Crative Kitchen catered our son's Rehearsal Dinner at Ogle Hall at the end of August. They did an extraordinary job!! We had a cocktail style party with passed hors d'ouvres of crabcakes, ham biscuits and shrimp all of which were amazing!! We then followed with a buffet of tenderloin (out of this world tender and tasty), salmon (amazing), chicken salad (incredible), assorted veggies, cheeses and fruit kabobs, lemon squares and decadent brownieis with salted caramel. Every single item was superb! The service staff was terrific! They were friendly, professional and had smiles on their faces. Working with Katie was a complete pleasure. She designed a wonderful menu for us and because of their attention to detail and great staff we could enjoy this special evening as guests ; ) There was ample food for our group of 90 and the price is very fair considering the high quality and beautiful presentation. I highly recommend Ken's Creative Kitchen for any catering needs. They have high marks because they earn them!!

Ken's catered our wedding reception, and I can't say enough good things about them. We continue to hear from our guests about the food. Even more so than the food itself, Ken's staff, particularly Katie, was enormously helpful. The day before the wedding she even worked with me for about 30 minutes on the phone trying to work some kinks out of the seating arrangement. During the reception itself the staff was consummately professional and everything went off without a hitch.

Ken's Creative Kitchen made our event special. Their service was incredible. They left the impression that we'd spared no expense. They were unobtrusive, and really attentive at the same time. They were ALL about service. I would mention names...but I don't know if I'm supposed to. We got comments all night long about how great the food was, and how awesome the staff was. No one had to go looking for a drink. There were no napkins on the floor...or dirty glasses around as they quietly refreshed them. You do not lift a finger to do anything -- nor do you have to explain anything to them once your event begins. Using a sports metaphor, they absolutely lock down that part of your event. Just as important, ALL of the food was amazing. The hors d'oeuvres were so good...I had to make a conscious effort to save room for everything else. I kept telling people they had to have the shrimp cocktail (I don't know if they put lemon in the cocktail sauce, or coated the shrimp with lemon, or what, but it was delicious). Other people were telling folks they had to try the crab cakes. Other people raved about the filo, fig, and goat cheese (tarts?). They helped to make our party (a 90th birthday party) special. We've all been to many catered events. I can't say I've ever had a bad experience with catering staff. The food is usually fine. The staff is usually fine. If you want the next level of service though, I higly recommend Ken's Creative Kitchen.

Wow. Great food, beautifully prepared, presented and served. Ken is very creative in his menu design, and in fitting the menu to the occasion. Prices are reasonable, and the folks are easy to work with. Try to get to their offices. The trip is worth the water views.

How can I describe perfection. The food was wonderful, and was beautifully displayed. Ken's staff is top drawer, the waiters, bartenders, and Helen who kept everything running smooth. Ken Upton single-handedly made my daughter's wedding simply amazing!! We had meetings, tasting and more tastings to get everything perfect and perfect it was. I have had events catered before but nothing like this. Ken and his team seamlessly helped us with everything - he set the pace and tone of the wedding, arranged for all grade A rentals, had a staff that set up, served and tore down with a constant smile and top notched professionalism the entire time, as well as providing Michelin quality food for everyone from children to vegans to seniors! Ken has catered to dignitaries such as Ambassadors and National TV Anchormen, and he made me and my family feel just as important as them. It was truly an honor to have worked with Ken and his team. Exceptional - if we could give them more than 5 stars, we would! We selected Ken's as the caterer for our daughter's Chesapeake Bay Foundation wedding and couldn't have been more thrilled from start to finish. As the mother of the bride, working on this wedding from my home base in Massachusetts was very challenging. Katie Wildt quickly became an invaluable partner, helping us through not only our catering decisions, but with referrals and guidance on a myriad of questions along the way - she is amazing! Denise, the wedding event manager, and every single member of Ken's team could not have worked harder to make our wedding experience more perfect - coupled with absolutely delicious and beautifully presented/served food and beverages that our guests are still talking about. This turned out to be our most important decision - we could not recommend them more highly!

The food was phenomenal. Native Annapolis/Eastern Shore guests declared the Crab Soup "BEST EVER!!". Service was impeccable, butlered items were served hot. Recommended by a family member, would use exclusively if I lived in Annapolis area.
