Chef's Expressions worked closely with my company to produce an elegant and successful (and customized) employee-recognition dinner marking 20 years of service. Jerry and Micah worked with us to design customized courses (with wine pairings) derived from our honoree's travel experiences. Will executed the dishes to perfection. Service was excellent, as well.

My Fiance and I were referred to Chef's Expressions from our Venue as they were on their "preferred catering" list. On our initial phone call with David, everything sounded great and he assured us that he could get within our budget of $80-85pp. After the first phone call, David never sent any of the information that he said he would. We waited around for weeks, sending several emails of inquiry before we finally called him and he picked up. He apologized and claimed not to be receiving our emails. Okay, that's fine, I understand technology doesn't always work properly. He then finally sent us the proposal we had been asking for. It was almost twice the amount that we had initially spoken about. It was as if we never had an initial meeting. When we asked him about this, he said there wasn't anything he could do and that he "tried", but with "equipment, linens, transportation and staffing" there was nothing he could do. He wasted weeks of our time when he could have been up front with all of the costs. Our wedding is going to be small, under 50 people. It seems like maybe Chef's Expressions didn't want to deal with an event so small so they added additional fees. It's that or they are deceptive with their prices for every event they cater. I would definitely skip them for your small events and make sure they are being upfront from the beginning about the costs.

My husband Steve and I used Chef’s Expessions for our wedding in September and we couldn’t have been more pleased. From the moment we met with Megan the very first time, we knew it would be a perfect fit. Megan was so great to work with as well as our day of coordinator Alex, and the rest of the staff that worked with us the day of. Everyone was so sweet and accommodating and seemed to really enjoy being a part of our day. Megan was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. I asked about a million questions and she answered all of them genuinely and never seemed annoyed or bothered. She helped to make our day so perfect and I’ll forever be grateful to her for that. Megan and Alex made sure all of the details were sorted out and that the vision we wanted really came to life. The food was delicious and made quite an impression on us and our guests. I can’t thank them enough and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking for the best for their wedding day.

Though we love good food, when it came down to it price & quality of service were our top priorities. And of course, that the caterer was on our venue's exclusive list. After going through a dozen caterers we narrowed our search which was a large part due to the wonderful service we received over the phone & then in person and there was the bonus of their food being delicious and personalized to us (I wanted Nigerian cuisine incorporated, as well as an overall carnival theme). Though there was a bit of turnover, Alicia stepped in and was a pleasure to work with throughout the rest of the process. The only regret I have is not having our timing & guest list locked down before we signed our contract and not asking the costs of add-ons earlier. All in all, though, CE was a great part of our wedding even getting me the icecream I wanted to go with our pies(!!!) & our planner really appreciated having the help to coral our families and other day of tasks.

As foodies, the catering was going to be one of the most important parts of our event, and they far exceeded our expectations, delivering an extremely high level of quality at a great value. Chef Expressions catered my wedding this past May and they did a fabulous job. Megan Cloman was wonderful to work with and everyone is still complimenting the food (even our uncle who is also a caterer!). Alicia Strawderman handled the logistics flawlessly. They walked me through the very-overwhelming process of planning a wedding (we had 120 guests and I did the planning) and found a way to accommodate all my special requests. I would absolutely work with them again!

All I can say is wow. My wife and I hired them for our wedding and what an outstanding group. I can’t remember everyone’s name because it was all so quick. But let me tell you the chef Dave (or David) was such an amazing person. Talk about professional and someone who actually cares about what they do. He literally went above and beyond in so many ways I don’t have the time to list. A great company and I’m sorry I can’t remember the others names from that night but everyone there was just fantastic. I was getting tired towards the end and Dave ran all the way up to the store to get me a six pack of Red Bull. Its things like this that set them apart. Every time I needed something the second I turned around they were holding it in their hands . I havnt even gotten to the food yet!! It was absolutely exquisite! My recommendation though if you’re having a wedding ask one of them to literally set you aside a plate or two with all the stuff on it because during the wedding your family and friends come up and talk to you so much you hardly get to sit and eat anything!!!! (Not a joke) Thank you guys for making my wedding night incredible. I will recommend you guys to everyone I know hoping their event will have you guys so I can enjoy your food again lol. THANK YOU!
