I haven’t eaten Richetta’s pizza for years. We decided to stop in before a going to the movies. Very cozy family friendly place. I decided to have their buffet and I have to say the food tasted great. The variety of pizza just depended on what was coming out of the oven. Every slice I had was great!! The reason I didn’t give 5 stars was service was a little slow (drink refills) and well as you see from the pictures the pasta selection the whole time I was there didn’t look the best. It was barely there and they never refilled it. That being said I Would definitely go back. The Pizza is great !!

Extremely understaffed today. Had our order taken in a reasonable time frame, but then didn't receive our drinks for 20 mins. and my salad w/salmon took another 10 min. to appear. I had difficulty flagging down our waiter to send the salmon back for finishing cooking. I didn't feel like tempting fate by eating sushi. The restrooms were very wet and dirty. Staff was stressed and inefficient. The food tasted good, so 3 stars. But if you want the complete experience to be positive, go elsewhere.

Went with friends and had the pizza buffet. Decent selection of pizzas, some soup/salad, and cannoli for dessert. Not spectacular but good. They will take requests for specific pizza varieties and let you know when they are put out. Our waiter was attentive and friendly even on a busy holiday evening.

Stopped in for a bite and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food is. it's not all just fancy pizza, they have some nice entrees. I opted for the mussels appetizer as an entree with the caprese salad. The mussels were perfect and the sauce delicious, server with two huge slices of garlic bread, which I devoured instantly. The caprese was enormous! And delicious, was enough to share with my son. My son had lasagna which was served also with garlic bread rolls. It was a giant portion of lasagna slathered in melted mozzarella. We at every bite of all the food. The venue was clan, open and airy and not loud, we were able to have a conversation at a normal voice level.

Pluses and minuses mark this place. Cesar salad with anchovies and desert pizza excelled. The lunch buffet of a variety of pizzas is a great idea. However, sitting around under a heat lamp dried out every one of the types I tried. Taste was minimal. A shame. Endless raspberry iced tea was another plus.

This is a great place to take the kids on the weekends. Their all you can eat pizza bar is awesome. You can request your favorite pie, the non-alcoholic drinks are bottomless and the staff are quite friendly.

We used to go regularly, a Maine staple. When they changed the menu it was disappointing -- some beloved pasta dishes went away, and many of the replacement entrees simply aren't as good. We don't dine here very much any more as a result. The personal pizzas are good, and what I recommend if you go. Wait staff is always polite and professional. Dining room is very loud with the open kitchen, high ceilings, and chefs shouting.

The pizza was amazing. Especially the eggplant pizza. Highly recommend for their pizza. We also had the salmon and you get what you expect for fish at a brick oven restaurant.

The cook must have forgotten to add seasonings to our pizzas. We ordered two different ones and we were disappointed in both. They were tasteless which I would have thought impossible given the ingredients. Even the garlic was dull. We will not go back. In fact we took the pizzas home, and added some salt n pepper with a pinch of oregano. Let the leftovers sit in the fridge for 3 days, reheated and found that was exactly what was missing. Wish that had been added originally.

I loved the pizza buffet at lunch! Lots of fresh pizza, don't forget to try the apple pie pizza (pizza pie?)! If you're into interesting pizza, they have several varieties I haven't tried yet, if you're into plain pizza, they have normal cheese, pepperoni, and stuff like that! I do recommend trying the fancy cheese pizza, though. Very delicious!

Pasta was cold and stiff with two separate pasta meals. My chicken caprese sandwich had no flavor. I can only recommend pizza....do not waste your money on any other dish they make...I'm sad to say i wasted $78.00.

We go for the $11 pizza buffet. You can ask for a puzza to be made for thr buffett. I als had very good corn chowder (from the buffett) today. If you are not already full, ask for some rolls.

Food is quite good. Mussels are very good. The problem is the bartender. Tues night was an eye opener. She didn’t write anything down and she was overwhelmed. Martini was horrible. My friends captain and coke was scotch. Couldn’t get ice. My friend pointed to and verbally ordered rigatoni ricetta. Got chicken parm. Very disappointed but maybe just a bad night.

We enjoyed the pizza buffet. Plenty of varieties and they made something specific for one of my kids who had a special request. The salad on the buffet line was not the best however everything else was very tasty. We will definitely go back, it was a good overall experience and reasonably priced.

Just picked up a Fettuccini Alfredo to go. With a tip for the hostess, cost almost $19. For my money I got a bowl of pasta with just a whisper of Alfredo sauce that was as tasteless - and the texture of - wallpaper paste. If I didn’t have salt in my car, it would have been inedible. The two white rolls (no butter) did not make up for this expensive disappointment.

More like Regretta's. Limp greasy "brick oven" pizza. I got the buffet. Soggy Salad, Bland pasta "Salad" was really just pasta. Staff was supper good, the only reason it got two stars. Pizza hut is this places equal, but cheaper.

Ricetta's has become our go-to place, above all others, no matter what the occasion is. We've enjoyed Ricetta's exceptional lunchtime buffet scores of times, organized my sister's college graduation dinner there (which was celebrated beautifully), participated in Ricetta's pizza recipe contest - and most often, we order take out every time we are headed for a picnic on the Eastern Prom in Portland or a quiet picnic at home. If I could only eat one thing the rest of my life I would, without any doubt, choose Ricetta's pepperoni pizza (their rolls and house Italian dressing would be my next two choices) for sure! The staff members seem born to make you happy - and it works!! Management knows their regular customers by name and treat you like royalty. Ricetta's is a winner! Always a culinary pleasure.

The food here is pretty good. The staff is out of control though. I never get a friendly server there. The hosts are barely civil. It's one of the joints that thinks they are doing you a favor by letting you eat there. There's still a few REALLY good dishes there though, Ricetta burger is really different and a couple of the pasta dishes are outstanding.

The food here is always good. The specialty pizzas are a mix or ingredients that work together nicely. The Artichoke appetizers are simply yummy. I'm not a fan of the dip it comes with but they're good without it. The waiter we had was great! Come to think of it we've never had a bad experience with the staff... We'll done!

Was looking for a place in Falmouth and this one sounded good. The reviews weren’t great but I decided to give a chance. But the reviews weren’t lying. The place is cute and they have good menu options. Unfortunately the food is very boring. I got the veggie medley. The risotto had no flavor and the vegetables selection and flavor were poor, the only good thing on the plate was the grilled Zucchini. My husband wasn’t impressed with the Caprese salad with add steak either. They add a beer flight for $10, but they were all very warm. Wasn’t a fan of the bread that they serve either, very doughy. I love when places serve Eli’s Ginger beer, unfortunately I will not be going back there again.

Nice place with fast service. My fiancé and I had cheese curds as an appetizer which were excellent. We also had two personal pizza’s, buffalo and roasted fungi. Both were great and left me wanted to try out the rest of their pizza selection. We we definitely be back. Try it out if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

Went with a party of 8 including 2 kids. We had good food all around (my only complaint is that sweet potato fries were greasy), very attentive and accommodating waitstaff, there are a good variety of menu items and nice beer selection. We would definitely return. The kitchen fixed a mistake with our order very rapidly and our waitress comped us a free salad while we waited for it to be done over.

The food was great but it was a frustrating experience overall. Communication with staff was poor. We told the hostess that we had a party of nine AND two babies. We were told we would have to sit at two separate tables. Which wasn’t impressive but we would do it. Well, the math didn’t add up to the number of chairs at the tables, which brought our party to three separate tables—just enough for each of our families to sit separately. If we were going to go to dinner and eat like that, we would just eat at home or do take out. The staff acknowledged our distaste in the situation but did nothing to fix it. After drink orders were taken we sat at our separate tables for about ten more Minutes when they spontaneously decided to push three other nearby tables (all Of these tables were empty when we were originally sat, no reason at all this couldn’t have been done from the get-go) together so we could eat together. Drinks were brought out but the order was wrong, two out of 6 adults missing entirely. Everyone ordered pizza and one simple salad. It took an hour for food to be served ...we joked the ingredients must have been picked up directly in Italy while we waited. The server was unimpressed (seemingly over-worked probably) and only perked up and was friendly when we were ready to leave. So much of what made this feel like s poor experience could have been cleared from the start, but left us awkwardly trying to see how we could fit, and then feeling isolated and weird about not going out as a group and just being divided by families. Two stars out of 5 (otherwise 0) because the food was good and facilities were clean.

My family and I make sure we get to Ricetta's every year when we come up to Maine. It's one of our restaurants we have to hit while we're up. Honestly, the pizza is so good we haven't gotten to anything else on the menu. Doesn't change the fact that I'll be ordering the Buffalo chicken pizza again when I get there. I can't recommend this place enough. There are phenomenal restaurants in Maine, but this is one of our favorites!

My experience was excellent, the pizza was not the best but the ravioli, Oh My The Ravioli, THE RAVIOLI WAS EXCELLENT. I'm not sure I can put into words what it was like someone just blessed the food with Jesus himself. The pizza was very nice there was a large variety of pizzas but none of the pizzas even came close to the experience with the ravioli.
