Not good for me. my wings were so fried dry I was shocked that the waitress had the nerve to serve them. Salad was very basic with awful bottled dressing. still the place was packed with what looked like happy people. Good if you like meat. not so good if you like fresh or homestyle. my 1st & last visit.

Warning: no one enters, or leaves, without passing by the bakery offerings. If you don't order from the lighter side menu, you might have room. You can, as a guest did, take home something for later, like a raspberry turnovers. This is not subdued lighting, fine dining, although the food, as advertised, is fine and home made. Where else can you ask a server what one of your relatives had ordered two weeks ago, and be told? They greet you. They get to know you. They pass no judgement. The seafood stuffed haddock was death in richness. Bring the family. Go by yourself. Just go!

This is truly an awesome restaurant. The whole place was so neat and clean. We had an amazing and attentive waitress named Leona who managed to keep our coffees full through the whole dining experience and came back multiple times to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The food was amazing and soooo tasty! A great price for all of the food we received. I'll be coming back for more :)

Did NOT enjoy my dinner. I ordered the turkey dinner and a side of squash. I specifically asked if the squash was fresh, was told yes, it absolutely did not taste like squash. The owner said, "I get a large container, it's frozen, I just let it thaw. Maybe they didn't send me the right thing". The stuffing looked very unappetizing, did not smell like stuffing, so I asked the waitress if she knew what the ingredients were. She said "the base is fish, no fish actually in it but the broth is fish". I think it would be very important to mention this on the menu...someone may have an allergy to seafood/fish. The only thing I ate was a few bites of potato, cucumbers, 1/4 of my turkey and some of my cranberry sauce. I left hungry. I was asked how everything was, I said I did not enjoy my food. The response was "no one else has said they didn't". Note: we almost didn't stay when we first arrived. It is a seat yourself resturant, we could NOT find one chair cushion that was not notably soiled. The waitress said she thought they were all like that and probably the stains were just from water. We would not eat there again.

I thought the food was good little on the greasy side but overall good. I wouldn't really call it a restaurant it's really more of a Diner. Breaded mushrooms were good would have been better stuffed in my opinion. On the other hand The steak sub was amazing, greasy but amazing, first time I've had one with steak tips. Overall though not something I would recommend. I will however recommend there pastries.

Had the breakfast buffet. Food was fresh and they brought us pancakes. The reason for 3, bacon was really salty, and for the price of the buffet, you would have thought that coffee was included, but it was an extra charge.

I had their Mac and cheese with bacon and ham. It was so freaking delicious. They make the cheese sauce themselves, the ham is good in it. The macaroni is not over cooked and they put breadcrumbs on top and bake it before they serve it. They serve it with garlic bread which is almost 2 inches tall and with cheese on it. Yum. The bread itself was great. Husband got fried haddock with a baked potato. He thought it was very tasty and well cooked. We got bread before the meal. It included a really good corn bread, I loved it. We both had the coleslaw and it was a nicely creamy coleslaw that was bright and acidic. We got and shared chocolate cream pie for dessert. It was bliss. A nice, flaky pie crust with a really cocoa-y flavored cream and some homemade whipped topping. I look forward to trying more of their dishes. Mmmmmmmmmmmm. Edit: been there twice more. Had their meatloaf mountain- perfection. Went to their breakfast buffet; it was pretty good, nothing was gross or old or too oily. Husband bought some cookies and loves them.

This place was great! I am on the ketogenic diet which is totally my choice but they didn't make me feel awkward about ordering at ALL! The pictures I posted are a Philly cheeesteak without the bun, with bacon added. The chef added extra mushrooms and onions and cheese too!!! Win!!!! Deliciousness in my mouth! (I brought the avocado from home) :) #ketobomb

Went here with my grandfather who is a Vietnam veteran. We ordered eggs and a English egg and sausage sandwich. The location wasn’t really busy there were probably 8 tables or less that had people seated and already eating. We sat and had a long 45 minute conversation before we even saw our food almost an hour later. The servers only response was “sorry we are just really busy” I looked around and the place was almost empty. The food was small portioned and the home fries were rat sized meal and had no flavor the egg sausage sandwich was tasteless and the ketchup had more flavor than the meal. I will not be returning ever again.

Highlight of the meal was a hot dog and fries. Also ordered grilled chicken platter along with macaroni and cheese. Chicken platter (chicken fingers without breading) was not worth $11 + see enclosed pictures, basically overpaid for a pile of rice. Food came out quickly however waitress was very inattentive and lacked any sort of communication skills. After speaking with another employee it turns out our waitress had a rough morning. I always aim to give a four or five star rating and let others decide however this experience was certainly not worth it.

I went there for breakfast yesterday for my first time and it was great..... very nice comfortable atmosphere with great food and portions the wait staff was wonderful and knowing the owner was even better she took some time to sit with me while I was eating so I got to tell her in person how much I was enjoying my breakfast they also serve lunch and dinner I strongly recommend going there for a wonderful time and great food and service

Was told they had good food. Found supper menu to be a bit pricey, for "local" type diner. Server was Not attentive, brought meal in "pieces". Didn't wait for a 4th party, who was late. Didn't take his order, til we were nearly done eating, T which time, was too late. Now, seafood, like "rubber", steak tips tough, rice pilaf looked "packaged", over done, food quite salty...... They were advised meal not good. Server did not bring bread... Was told she was "new" and he would tell cook of problem, they charged $75.00 for 3 people, two of which did not feel well upon arriving to their homes. (both had seafood). Was told "don't give up & come back again".... Ah... NO WAY!!

Cheeseburger Royal... that was absolutely wonderful. Large bun for an equally large party, smothered with cheese, topped with a perfect complement of tomato, lettuce, thin sliced onions, and a fabulous layer of onion tangles. I have to say that your coleslaw is second to none, literally. Ranked second place in a tie with Cracker Barrel in my eyes.

This is one of the most fantastic places to go for a home cooked meal. The portions are amazing, prices mid-range (and well worth it), family portraits on the walls, and a bakery to die for! It's a relaxed environment and the staff are friendly. On Saturday and Sunday they have a breakfast buffet in the morning. Highly recommend a stop into Rebecca's, you will not be disappointed. If you like eggs Benedict, make sure to try their Irish Benedict. Delish! The sausage gravy and biscuits, amazing. I've dined here a few times over the past months and have not had a bad experience.

After an appointment at Togus VA Hospital, Rebecca's Place seemed a good choice for lunch. Even though the restaurant was busy and patrons seat themselves, we were promptly greeted and brought menus. Our orders were taken in a timely manner and our food served reasonably quickly. My friend chose a Taco Salad which she described as "Yummy" several times. My choice was Meat Loaf with mashed potatoes covered in gravy and pickled beets. The mashed potatoes were good, the pickled beets excellent but the meat loaf a bit dry and bland. Rebecca's also offers a nice assortment of baked items to take home, most of which looked good to me. Good food along with excellent service earn Rebecca's a solid four star rating.

3 Stars for food 4 for atmosphere! A locals place where Rebecca herself pitches in to help! Outta towners: Safe, easy parking, clean and friendly. As for food, better than Denny's/IHOP, all American food with a bonus. Support a local! Try it out, they have lobster stew, rolls and many other lobster dishes! Had too much lobster? They have big burgers, chicken strips/fingers/tenders. Good fries too.

Quaint little place, just a short hop off of I-295. Their breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday WILL NOT disappoint! $11.99 for all you can eat eggs, sausage, bacon, crepes, eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, french toast, fried chicken, baked beans, eggs made to order, pancakes and probably more that I'm forgetting! The staff is friendly and efficient. Really glad we stopped in for breakfast!

This place is so close to home that we can pop in anytime. Prices are reasonable too. The owner and staff make you feel like one of the family. I have had several of the items on the menu and enjoyed each one, such as their hamburg plate containing hamburg, choice of potato or fries, and choice of vegetable or salad. Very good. I really like their fish chowder. It is so creamy and delicious! Yum! They are one of a very few places you can get bread pudding which just reminds me of my mom's. So many choices, it's hard to decide.

Excellent variety! Five of us had lunch and we all found something appealing. It all arrived faster than expected and we were all very satisfied. Even our two picky eaters were pleased! I had a soup and a BLT, both of which were exactly what I was hoping for--crispy, fresh-cooked, thick-cut bacon and a wholesome, well-rounded beef and barley soup. I highly recommend them for a casual sit-down!

We found this out-of-the-way restaurant as we were driving from Acadia National Park back home to Ohio. The fish chowder was some of the best we've ever had - rich, chock full of fish, creamy, and seasoned well. Everything was fresh and plentiful. Service was terrific and our server was delightful. We just wish we had a restaurant like this at home.
