Too loud, the sides all taste canned. The cornbread was tasteless. The meats were tasty but it seems they don't really know how to serve them up. All table sauces were sweet and none were hot.

Okay, so here's the thing. Though named a BBQ, you should treat this as a deli, because the reason to come here is the PASTRAMI. The pastrami is the best in New England -- you'd probably have to travel to Montreal or New York to find something comparable. Don't even bother getting the Reuben. You want a naked Pastrami sandwich. Make it a double. Thank me later.

Great place with great food. Had the brisket sandwich which had practically perfect brisket. Not to fatty while still moist and a solid bark. Other dishes which were great that we had were the spaghetti squash, rotating chicken and the fries. Go there and eat some some food. Won't find better BBQ in Maine or anywhere else most likely.

Extremely good barbecue. The meatloaf sandwich is a must try! Yummy!! The baked beans are also delicious. We just moved to Maine from Virginia and this beats all the barbeque that we tried there. Superb!!

Typical hipster BBQ joint reminiscent of Los Angeles. The side dishes should not be the highlight of a Q restaurant, as was the case here. The manager (possibly owner?) was very friendly and engaging; unfortunately, his attitude isn’t common amongst the rest of the staff. Pretty disappointed.

The food is unimaginable. The brisket is savory, moist, and meaty. They have this thing where they have pickled some fresh veggies and that adds so much to the meal. Their cold slaw is stupendous as are the beans and mac & cheese. The location is new and they still have a few kinks to work out....such as setting up a second register for their take-out customers. The place is rather small but it seems like a fun atmosphere. Congrats, guys!

If you want some meat, this is the place. The chopped pork was the perfect tenderness with a sweet tangy sauce and the brisket sandwich was bulging with meat and full of savory goodness. Also, the coleslaw was a perfect rugged addition to the sandwich. Oh and those pickles , I could eat a whole bowl of those ....

Noble is a great place to get some really good BBQ! Small casual joint with simple but times less combinations. Try anything on the menu and you'll be happy but the pulled pork and mac n' cheese are a highlight.

AMAZING food. It honestly went beyond my expectations. I got the pulled pork with slaw over greens. They gave a generous portion of the pork, which I very much appreciated! The flavor was so smoky, and mixed with the grainy mustard based slaw (my favorite!), so it was not overly sweet by any means. It was a perfect balance of flavor. Highly recommend! The staff was very friendly, as well.

Noble BBQ is absolutely drool inducing!! HANDS DOWN the absolute best cheeseburger I've ever had in my life. The best Brisket as well. The reuben is stupid good! There is nothing on the menu that isn't AMAZING!! Incredibly reasonable price for the quality of ingredients, some saying expensive, i personally would pay more! --- I only have 1 problem tho ---WHO leaves a 1-star review over a BBQ restaurant running out of brisket?!?! Some guy down below did and thats laughable!! 50 times I've ordered the brisket and they have had it every time!! Its always been PERFECT anytime of the day!! If they don't have the brisket by freak chance, and you're dumb enough to walkout without trying something else, that's your problem! NOTHING in Riverton compares! Fries are always perfect and the pickled onions are ridiculous. The Carolina BBQ sauce is the best I've had, and would buy it by the case if i could!!! EAT AT NOBLE!!!

We lived in St Louis for many years so we didnt expect to be able to find a decent bbq place in the land of seafood. Noble exceeded our expectations. It might be the best I have ever had, but DON'T TELL ANYONE I SAID THAT, GOOGLE. The pastrami (on greens) and scrappy fries are 2 of my most favorite things I have ever eaten.

So fine was the fare at this wonderful barbecue joint, that I felt compelled to eat there 5 of the first 9 days that it was open (I just placed my 5th order by phone). Be sure to try some of the pickled veggies with your bbq, and don't miss the beef brisket (it's off the chain!)

This place is one of the few BBQ places that's doing it right. Awesome bearded men serving awesome American BBQ, with an upscale twist, and great ideas..the Scrappy fries have brisket/burnt ends, baked beans, salsa fresca, and some kind of cheese. I think it was feta. Whatever it was it was fantastic. I had the Ruben and it was awesome.

The proper sandwiches as they are referred to here Noble Barbecue are AWESOME! Every bite makes your mouth water. I get excited every time we go to here to eat. Just one other thing make sure you get an order of Scappie Fries you are going to love them too. The staff are always awesome and very friendly. Stop in and meet them. Enjoy a proper sandwich and a beer.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I got nervous Monday afternoon because there was nobody in here but my gosh. The 3 of us are in love! The beef brisket, the fried chicken, the cornbread, the mac and cheese... not to mention the lady ordered a spaghetti squash sandwich that also rocked. Been cross country repeatedly and this is a top 5 spot for Q.

Was going to be my new go-to bbq place. But after the third time of them not having brisket, I would say I am done. Can easily get what I want elsewhere, did like their food but the hassle of not knowing if they even have one of the main things on the menu, and the only thing I want to have. $15 is a little high as well for a naked sandwich and side when you can’t get it half the time. Plenty of other bbq places who would like my business. Just like the 2-3 other places that have been there isn’t going to last and that’s a shame!

The Brisket Sandwich is amazing in both it's styles. You can get it regular or naked. Naked is just brisket with no BBQ sauce on a toasted bun. The fries are REALLY good. I highly recommend them to accompany your sandwich. The baked beans were a bit runny and lacked bold flavors but we're still worth the price. If you are looking for a quality BBQ meal and am tired of the chain style BBQ like Bucks or Famous Dave's, I'd highly recommend this place.

People say crazy things and get very territorial about their barbecue. This is the kind of place that makes you like that. Eat here and know the truth about food and hospitality. You can see the passion in their open kitchen. They are every bit as excited to serve me their perfectly smoked meat as I am to drive two hours to get it. The menu here is succinct. No ribs. No nonsense. The specials are a living, breathing, ever-changing menu of stuff you didn't even know was missing from your life. A different fried chicken sandwich everyday. Smoked meatloaf cheeseburger. Pastrami Reuben. Smoked Turkey Melts. BRISKET. The brisket is what it is all about for me. I know there is a long list of "must visit" places when in Portland. For me, this is the only one.

Drove all the way here to enjoy some great bbq on 8/25 and their website says they are open till 8pm on a Saturday, which is reasonable, and we got here and they were closed at 545pm. Very dissatisfied. The 5 of us were hungry and they were closed. Not impressed. Great food, but if they tell you they are open and they are not, you can’t rely on their hours

Great barbecue joint on the outskirts of Portland. Points awarded for being open on Mondays! The smoked pastrami and shredded pork were excellent, and their selection of local beverages, both alcoholic and non, was also quite good. My only complaint is the relative lack of seating- there are only two groups of tables, and all of them were taken by groups the whole time we were there. They seem set up to encourage turn over, but while I was there the customers (including myself) were all staying for extended periods. More tables, please!

Gave us a taste of done tri-tip that he is adding to the menu... Amazing. Good selection of beers. Definitely will be back. Would be a shame for you to miss this place!

I'm a huge fan of the owners Fire & Company catering which I've enjoyed at a few different weddings/catered events so I was looking forward to giving Noble BBQ a try. I finally made it in there for a quick lunch and it was AMAZING!! The beef brisket sandwich is quite possibly the best I have ever had, no exaggeration. It was so good it will probably keep me up at night! Service was top notch, food came out fast and is hand delivered to whichever seat you choose. Portland now has a clear cut #1 BBQ spot. Kudos to Noble BBQ, I WILL be back!!

Best food I've ever eaten... A little nervous that people will like this place too much and ruin it. Scrappy fries and brisket sandwich are what I've had to date, and each are seriously memorable good moments for me. You can't go wrong from what I've seen; even the pickled vegetable garnish is superb. I have to try the Reuben next.

Well, not as good as I expected. Chopped pork sandwich was tough and super dry but had an ok flavor, $9. Cole slaw was bland and dry, $4. The baked beans were undercooked with excess liquid and had overcooked and inedible pork tidbits, $4. Grilled corn bread muffin was good, but not a $4 muffin. No sides with the sandwich so everything was extra. Not the quality I expected for $22.50! Won't do that again!

As a visitor to Maine, staying in Portland a few days, it's nice to take a break from all things Lobster. The food was excellent, beer/drink selection great, service great. Small, but good atmosphere. We had the Pork Sandwich and Turkey Cheese melt, and Mac and cheese. Unique as BBQ goes, but delicious. Highly recommend.
