They were busy and I patiently waited for my food. After 20 minutes my food was given to the wrong table. I had to wait another 15+ while they figured out what to do. Very unhappy.

Waitress was extremely rude, Added an additional $10 charge (which she refused to remove or even explain) & was also rude when we inquired about this extra charge she said it was for our drinks, which could NOT have totaled $10. This charge put our total over $60 for 4 people, which has NEVER happened to us for breakfast anywhere before. This is especially frustrating due to the fact that each of our meals were under $10. Will definitely not be returning & would not recommend their service, which is sad because it used to be a favorite of ours when it was under different management.

Went on a Saturday about 11:00. Was told there was a 25 min. wait. We waited a little over an hour. Were seated at 12 15. The place was pretty much cleared out by then, and even so the service was still slow, we didn't receive water, had to ask for it halfway through the meal. Server did not come back to check if everything is ok with you. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is that the food was pretty good. But it wasn't worth the wait or the lousy service. We won't be going back.

We are on vacation from Monterey CA and had our first breakfast at Good Tyme Cafe. I told my wife it was the best breakfast I had eaten in a long time. Had the crab scrambler and loved it. A generous portion of fresh crab. Substited the home fries and got the hash instead. I'm so glad I did! Cute atmosphere to boot.

Such a great place to get breakfast! Food is fabulous, service is fantastic. My daughter mentioned that it was her birthday (7) and they brought her breakfast out with candles and sang her Happy Birthday! Such a sweet thing to do. This is the kind of service that has me returning year after year.

1st time visit, and will be my last. Today is Mother’s Day. I felt overlooked and like I was an outsider. You have to be a friend or known to get an on top service here and you can feel it. Repeatedly passed with pots of coffee while my cup sat empty. It was also nice seeing all the beautiful roses they had for the mothers. But again, you had to be a friend to get one. So the elderly woman got them but a mid aged woman with kid in tow didn’t earn you one. However, I did take a pen which writes nicely and took it next door to write Happy Mother’s Day on some boxes of food throughout my stroll through the isles. That made me feel better after the horrible breakfast experience. Should have drove to All Day in Biddo. I should have known better. Lesson Learned!

Such great staff. Be sure to get here early as there can be a wait, but its worth it. I had the Benedict Oscar. Best Benedict I've ever had. Everything was so fresh even the breakfast potatoes. Whatever you get will be amazing.

Delicious breakfast! I has the blueberry crisp waffle, which was the special, it was one of the best waffles I've ever had. My boyfriend had the one egg plate, which came with homefries and toast and he ordered a pancake too. The homefries had a great spice level, the toast looked and tasted like fresh made bread. The pancake was light and fluffy and as big as the plate. We loved everything! We were just up in Old Orchard for 2 nights and we ended up going back for our second day because the food was so good.

My first time being to the Good Thyme Cafe and it was delicious. I'll certainly come back. I had the Eggs Oscar (pictured below), basically a Eggs Benedict except you have crab meat and asparagus. I highly recommend this dish!

My husband Bill and I visit Old Orchard Beach every year, and were introduced to this cafe a few years back. We visited again on our trip this year and took a chance on getting in on a busy Saturday morning. Not only did we get seated quickly, Holly and the entire staff were welcoming, friendly and fun to chat with. Our breakfast was delicious, (as usual), and presented to us much more quickly than we anticipated considering the had a packed house. We will be sure to stop the next time we are up! Keep it up Holly and crew!

Love this place,but not this morning. We were unable to be seated or be given a time frame to be seated. There were several open tables, but the one waitress was unable to keep up with the dining room and we were basically told to go elsewhere. Sorry, but we could tell Apryl wasn't on, she kicks butt! ***** UPDATE*****We visited again on our last day, and what a difference. The atmosphere was a total turnaround and back to the place we love. Great breakfast, delicious, quick and clean. Thank you Apryl and staff, we will be back!

Food is fresh and tasty. Service is poor. Requested that fans be slowed down and waitress punished us by not taking our order for 15 minutes. Poor floor supervision. Re-visited on 9/30/17 and discovered a happy place...customers and staff were smiling and friendly. Service was excellent and food, as always, was fresh and delicious. Very different experience from my last visit.

We ordered multiple items from the menu and each one of them was DELICIOUS!! The chicken Cesar wrap had small pieces of breaded chicken that was crispy and stuffed full in a soft tortilla with crisp lettuce. My husband ordered the special a hollandaise sauce, runny yolk covered crab and asparagus dish with home fries. Wow. And then we ordered a grilled coffee cake muffin, yes that's a thing they do up in these parts, and a ham salad sandwich with fries. The food was excellent. The service was fast and the waitress was a orange angel haired woman with a beautiful smile and caring service. We loved it here. I'm hungry now and want to go back!!!! Sign me up!

I am a visitor to the Portland area a few times a year. Decided to take my family there again today prior to our long trip back to Philly. It was just how I remembered. Quaint, clean, service is great and the food delicious. I had the same thing I had the last time, Eggs Oscar. I was not disappointed. My grandson had pancakes and when they say plate size they mean it. Coffee has a nice flavor too. My favorite breakfast spot!
